Daddy Always Gets Jealous

”Oh, I’m serious,” Huo Jinbei casually replied, filled with curiosity, ”Love at first sight? Is it the girl you said you wanted to marry last time?”

The little guy described seriously, ”Yeah, that kind of feeling, when I first saw her, my heart felt all tingly.”

Huo Jinbei couldn’t help but laugh again, the little brat, knowing what a tingly feeling is!

Hearing this, the little guy was displeased, ”Forget it, I won’t talk to you anymore, you don’t understand!”

He hung up the phone in a huff, sitting there silently, thinking of Huo Jinnan. If he spoke to him, he’d probably understand even less. Just like what his little uncle said, old men, not romantic at all!

He looked at his phone for a while, then threw it aside, sitting there deep in thought about how he could be with Huanhuan every day.

Nanny Rong watched the little master who had been sitting there in a daze. She wondered what had suddenly happened to him, as he had returned in high spirits.

After a while, the little guy suddenly picked up the phone and dialed Huo Jinnan’s number.

The first time, no one answered.

He stubbornly dialed a second and third time...

Still, no one answered. He sighed gently and tossed the phone aside. Never mind, asking him how to become a doctor was probably less effective than asking Uncle Shen Mubai!

With that thought, he picked up the phone again and called Shen Mubai, ”Uncle Mubai, I’ve always thought being a doctor is a sacred profession. If a man doesn’t have a kind and helpful heart, a wise mind, and strong perseverance, he surely can’t learn medicine. So, Uncle Mubai, I really admire you and want to be a doctor like you. Can you teach me?”

After hearing the last sentence, Shen Mubai couldn’t help but shake his head and smile. The kid had given him such high praise just because he wanted to be a doctor. ”Wait until you grow up.”

”No, I want to be a doctor now,” the little guy firmly stated as he sat on the sofa.

Shen Mubai had never heard the little guy mention wanting to become a doctor before, so why the sudden interest? He thought of the little guy’s usual aversion to hospitals, almost to the point of denial.

Shen Mubai frowned and paused from reviewing the medical records, ”Do you want to come to my hospital?”

The little guy’s voice dropped a bit, ”Not really, I’d prefer to go to the First Hospital.”

The First Hospital?

Shen Mubai continued flipping through the medical records of patients needing surgery in the next few days, ”Do you look down on Uncle Mubai’s hospital?”

Thinking of Huanhuan, the little guy felt a bit embarrassed and spoke coyly, ”Not really, it’s just about a little privacy issue.”

Hearing the little guy mention privacy and knowing the boy’s usual defiant nature, calling his own father by name, Shen Mubai couldn’t help but laugh, ”Fine, if you want to become a doctor, start by studying hard now. Later, you can get into medical school and then you’ll be able to work at the First Hospital.”

”Uncle Mubai, I want to work at the First Hospital as a doctor now?”

”Now? That’s impossible.”

...

Hearing from Shen Mubai that to become a doctor one must graduate with a medical degree and also need something called a medical license, the little guy hung up the phone, listlessly staring out the window.

He hadn’t even graduated from kindergarten yet. According to Uncle Mubai, he had to go to elementary school, then middle school, high school, university, and grad school. Suddenly, his head felt swollen with information!

How many years would that be?

After thinking for a while, the little guy kicked the coffee table listlessly and saw Uncle Lu approach. He puffed up his cheeks and ordered, ”Uncle Lu, get the car ready.”

This late, the young master wants to go out?
