Daddy Always Gets Jealous

”So, the gentleman has changed his schedule again?”

Rong Ma acknowledged and went to tidy up the room.

The little fellow went downstairs to the living room and looked towards Che Huan, ”Huanhuan, I’ll have Uncle Lu send you back tonight, okay?”

Che Huan replied, staying with the little guy, feeding him his medicine. On the day of discharge from the hospital, the little guy insisted on her accompanying him, claiming that his illness was not completely cured and he needed professional care. She even told the head nurse that she had no formal training, but the head nurse persuaded her, reasoned with her, and appealed to her emotions, saying it was just a day of coaxing a child to take medicine, and hoped she would agree...

She reluctantly agreed, and the head nurse even assigned a professional top-level nurse to take care of the little guy with her.

However, upon arriving here, the haughty little patient quickly sent the real professional away, leaving only her to care for him in the room.

Seeing the furnishings in the room and thinking back to the head nurse’s words, ”The Huo Family is not an ordinary family. When you go there, take good care of the child and remember to be discreet and cautious.” Indeed, everything looked far from ordinary. It was best to leave early to avoid any complications.

...

That evening, the little guy sneaked a glance at Che Huan, ”Huanhuan, let me send you back.”

No sooner had he spoken than he coughed several times, his little face turning beet red.

Che Huan glanced at him, worried, ”You’re still not completely well. Uncle Lu can take me.”

The little guy insisted on sending her back home.

Thinking of the young master’s orders, Uncle Lu spoke up, ”Miss Che, how about this, the young master has school tomorrow. Why not stay the night and in the morning, I can take you both there?”

Che Huan didn’t want to stay overnight. She knew it was a luxury private villa district the moment she entered, with mountains and waters nearby, a pleasant scenery. Looking at the exquisite handmade carpet on the ground, she already regretted agreeing to the head nurse.

The little guy coughed a few more times, pretending to stand there while changing his shoes.

Uncle Lu persuaded Che Huan again at the side.

The little guy saw that Che Huan was eager to leave, afraid that he might not leave a good impression on her on their first meeting. He glanced at Uncle Lu and signaled with his eyes to stop there.

Uncle Lu didn’t persuade her further. The little guy looked at Che Huan, ”Huanhuan, wait for me. I’m going to change clothes.”

As soon as the words were out, he ran towards the staircase.

Seeing this, she realized he was almost fully recovered and Che Huan breathed a sigh of relief.

Uncle Lu looked at Che Huan, ”Miss Che, please wait here. I’ll go and start the car.”

Che Huan nodded and stood at the entrance of the living room, waiting for the little guy to come down the stairs and for Uncle Lu to start the car.

When no one else was around, Rong Ma approached, smiling, and spoke to Che Huan, guiding Huanhuan to the tidied guest room, ”Miss Che, although the young master likes you, I still have to say, please don’t have any other intentions.”

Che Huan was stunned for a moment, quickly understanding Rong Ma’s meaning—it was about the little guy’s dad, wasn’t it? Considering she was a substitute, the head nurse had specifically instructed her not to reveal it.

”Rong Ma, you’re overthinking it. The young master and I just happen to get along quite well.”

Rong Ma didn’t say anything more and quickly left.

Che Huan, ”...”

!!!

Did she really look like a nurse out to seduce a patient’s family? She thought that wearing a nurse uniform made her look like an angel in white!

Suddenly, the phone rang. Che Huan glanced at it—it was Huo Bei. She answered, ”Mr. Huo Bei, hello.”

Huo Bei glanced at the gentleman, not understanding why he would do this, but still relayed the gentleman’s instructions, ”The gentleman might not be able to return for the time being, so we would trouble Miss Che to take care of Huanhuan for a few more days.”
