Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Huo Jinnan furrowed his brows and, just as a hand was about to come down, he precisely grasped Gu Yunqing’s wrist and flung it away, ”You’re not yet qualified to touch her.”

Gu Yunqing staggered slightly, barely managing to steady herself, feeling a sharp pain in her wrist as if the bones were nearly crushed.

She had never expected that the usually arrogant man would not only tolerate getting splashed with red wine but also protect Che Huan!

And what did his words mean?

Her heart churned tumultuously as she took a deep breath and barely steadied her breathing, ”Jinnan, I’ve probably been too lenient with my subordinates at the company, which is why Che Huan is acting so out of line.”

Che Huan remained silent, disliking the way President Gu spoke.

After all, she was still not divorced from Gu Jizhou and was the wife of President Gu’s nephew. Faced with such a situation today, President Gu didn’t stop it, and even scolded her like this.

But President Gu had been kind to her, and in the end, she didn’t say anything.

Huo Jinnan glanced down at Che Huan and said, ”Does that settle it, huh?”

Feeling the man’s breath tickling her ear, Che Huan thought about her torn dress, twisted high heels, and a scraped knee...

Is that settled?

But she was still sitting in his arms!

”Mr. Huo, can you let go now?”

Huo Jinnan gave no response.

Seeing the situation, Gu Yunqing hurriedly spoke up, ”Che Huan needs to help me deliver some documents. Jinnan, if you really like her, you can wait for her to come back...”

Huo Jinnan silenced Gu Yunqing with a look and reaching for his phone with his free hand, he sat there and dialed Huo Bei, ”Come in for a moment.”

Less than ten minutes later, Huo Bei entered the private room and walked straight to Huo Jinnan’s side, standing tall and upright.

Huo Jinnan glanced at the documents on the carpet and commanded, ”Go, take these documents to the Imperial Dynasty Hotel suite 801.”

Huo Bei picked them up and quickly left the private room.

Gu Yunqing watched from the side, feeling a lump in her throat, and after a long time, she finally spoke in a gentle voice, ”Che Huan, then you just keep Mr. Huo company.”

Che Huan kept silent with a very unpleased look as she cast a glance at Gu Yunqing, the little affection she had for her nearly gone.

Huo Jinnan, sitting there, saw the tissue Shen You offered, took it elegantly, turned to Che Huan, and said, ”Wipe it for me.”

Che Huan remained silent.

Huo Jinnan observed for a while, his expression barely changing, as he delicately wiped his face with the tissue, then raised his eyes to look at Shen You beside him, ”What game were you playing last night?”

Shen You covered his mouth, coughing lightly. ”Last night? Oh... Brother Huo, we played the identity game...”

He gestured, his heart skipping a beat, wondering if it was appropriate to play now.

As Brother Huo’s brow tightened faintly, the hand that had been touching his lips froze there, not daring to move further.

Huo Jinnan sat there, lips tightly pursed in silence for a moment before glancing sideways at Che Huan, ”Can you play?”

Che Huan was taken aback, not having understood what the game was, ”No, I can’t!”

Huo Jinnan looked down with a cold demeanor.

Seeing Brother Huo take out another cigarette, Shen You grabbed the lighter beside him, ignited it, and handed it over.

Huo Jinnan leaned in for a draw, sat up straight, and with his elegant fingers, flicked the cigarette, tapping the ash into the ashtray, before parting his lips lightly, ”Youzi, tell her how to play.”

Che Huan was angry. She had already said she didn’t know how, yet he was still forcing her. Did this man have an obsession?
