Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Che Huan immediately felt something was wrong and tried to extricate herself, but Ya Hai suddenly grasped her hand, his narrow eyes undisciplined, ”Che Huan, Che Huan, what a nice name indeed, does it mean to please a man’s heart?”

”Mr. Ya is thinking too much,” Che Huan said sharply, standing up and heading straight towards the door.

Ya Hai snorted softly and gestured to the waiter.

The waiter quickly left the private room, closing the door behind him.

In a blink of an eye, there were only two people left in the room; the speed was so fast it seemed as if it had been premeditated.

Che Huan reached the door and pulled at it with force, finding it locked from the outside; it wouldn’t budge an inch.

Ya Hai sat there, watching Che Huan, and chuckled, ”Miss Che, it seems you won’t be able to leave today.”

Che Huan turned to look back at Ya Hai.

Ya Hai slowly stood up, walked over to Che Huan, laid a hand on her shoulder, and bending down glanced at her delicate skin; he pointed to the intact geoduck on the nearby table, ”If you use this little mouth to eat it, Miss Che Huan, then there will be no problem with this contract.”

She emphasized the words ’Che Huan’ with heavy distaste.

The geoduck, just looking at it was revolting, making one unable to keep their eyes on it, let alone eat it, especially in the presence of a man!

She took a deep breath, made a slight move, Ya Hai’s hand slipped from her shoulder, and then she smiled demurely, ”Che Huan is naive and doesn’t understand Mr. Ya’s intentions; please enlighten me.”

Ya Hai got frisky, ”Truly don’t understand, or pretending not to understand?”

Che Huan tensed and took a big step back, suddenly thinking of the Bentley owner as if clinging to a lifeline, ”Excuse me, Mr. Ya, Mr. Huo’s suit is still with me, waiting for me to deliver it. I’m afraid I won’t have time tonight. Perhaps another day would be suitable?”

Mr. Huo?

In all of Hongcheng, only one person dared to call himself Mr. Huo, his identity a secret, shrouded in mystery like a riddle.

Rumors claimed he was a billionaire with a hidden and vast empire of political and commercial influence.

As to the truth, no one knew, but those who had crossed him had never come to a good end; for example, Liang Hua from the once prominent Red Top Real Estate in Hong Kong had overnight faced imprisonment and bankruptcy. Since then, the name Mr. Huo had become a harbinger of fear and trepidation.

Ya Hai eyed Che Huan meaningfully, hesitating inwardly.

Che Huan, noticing his wariness, grew more composed, ”May I know if Mr. Ya is ready to sign the contract now?”

Ya Hai was unsure whether the woman before him had any relation with Mr. Huo, and if so, what kind, but he had an agreement with Gu Yunqing...

After a moment of hesitation, he looked at Che Huan, ”Where are you delivering it to?”

She smiled, ”Naturally, to Mr. Huo’s apartment.”

Reflecting on the beauty before him and the lucrative agreement at stake, Ya Hai smiled ominously, ”Miss Che, you must be joking, Mr. Huo is not in Hongcheng right now, how can you deliver it?”

Did he know Mr. Huo? Or was he testing her?

Che Huan’s lips curved into a smile, ”Mr. Ya, you must be mistaken, I just spoke with Mr. Huo on the phone.”

Ya Hai, feeling slightly cowed, stared long and hard at Che Huan.

Che Huan walked towards the coffee table, picked up the contract, and glanced at her phone, ”Mr. Huo asked me to deliver it by 8:30, and there’s still half an hour left, I thought signing a contract would be quick.”

Ya Hai grasped the implication in her words, his thoughts racing as he gazed at Che Huan’s alluring appearance, realizing if this woman truly had a connection with Mr. Huo, this was not muddy water he should tread in!

Che Huan smiled gently, bewitching in her demeanor, ”Mr. Ya, Mr. Huo doesn’t have the best temper.”
