Daddy Always Gets Jealous

The next day, Che Huan woke up and immediately helped the little guy take his temperature which read 36.8 degrees, back to normal. However, the little guy was still somewhat weak, and his face was a bit pale.

He sat up, ”Huanhuan, am I all better now? My head doesn’t hurt that much either.”

Che Huan nodded and touched the little guy’s forehead, ”Much better, I’ll go out and see if I can get Mdm. Rong to prepare breakfast for you.”

The little guy felt a bit shy, embarrassed to put his pants on in front of Che Huan. Once he saw her leave, he quickly wriggled out from under the covers and deftly put on his pants.

By the time Che Huan returned, the little guy was already neatly dressed and on the phone.

Upon seeing Che Huan, he quickly ended the call.

Che Huan went to the washroom to freshen up, and the little guy glanced over. Once the door of the washroom was closed, he picked up the phone again and dialed swiftly, ”Uncle, why did you say I can’t get married?”

”You’re not of legal age to marry yet.”

”So, when will I be of legal age to marry?”

Hearing that it would not be until he was twenty-two, he counted on his fingers and his little face fell, ”That long? But I want to marry Huanhuan now, what should I do?”

The little guy, just like his second brother, was overly proud, rarely taking an interest in a woman!

Huo Jinbei suddenly became very curious about what kind of woman could attract the usually haughty little guy to consider marriage, ”Uncle will be in Hongcheng in two hours to pick you up from the hospital, okay?”

”No need for you to come; Uncle Lu is here.” The little guy thought of how his uncle was invariably a flirt, eyes sparkling at the sight of any pretty girls, and feared he might compete with him for Huanhuan, so he flatly refused and then decisively hung up.

Driving his car, Huo Jinbei heard the ”beep beep” of the busy signal and muttered a curse. He really was just like his second brother!

Huo Jinxue really wanted to go see what kind of woman had caught the little guy’s fancy.

When the two arrived at the hospital, the little guy had already been discharged.

Huo Jinxue coaxed Huo Jinbei into driving to Nanyuan Villa, only to have their repeated ringing of the doorbell ignored.

The little guy, annoyed by the incessant doorbell, turned to Uncle Lu, ”Go out and just say what I tell you to, and send them away.”

”...”

This...

It seemed only the young master could manage to send away his own aunt and uncle!

Recalling the little guy’s temperament, Uncle Lu stepped out without opening the door for Huo Jinbei and Huo Jinxue, ”Third young master and miss, please go back.”

Huo Jinxue wanted to persuade Uncle Lu to let them in, but Uncle Lu was unyielding, ”The young master just recovered and needs peace and quiet.”

Left without options, Huo Jinxue and Huo Jinbei stood at the door for a while, called Huo Jinnan, but got no answer, and eventually had to get into the car and leave.

Watching them leave from upstairs, the little guy let out a sigh of relief, hmph, they must have come to see Huanhuan. He wasn’t so naive!

He turned back and looked at Mdm. Rong, silently calculating, and whispered, ”Go and get a guest room ready for Huanhuan.”

Mdm. Rong was shocked; the young master wanted to offer the nurse accommodations?

But the gentleman was returning tonight!

Despite her reservations, Mdm. Rong spoke up, ”Young master, the gentleman is coming back tonight.”

”I’ve already spoken to him this morning; he’s coming back on Monday. I’m not completely well yet and need professional nursing care. Now go on!” The little guy pursed his lips, and as he stood there watching Mdm. Rong about to leave, he frowned and added another line, ”Don’t you dare tell Huo Jinnan!”
