Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1889 - 1676: A Cheat

The air in the dungeon grew heavier as Sakuya and Luna ventured deeper. The once intermittent roars and growls of monsters became an unending cacophony, echoing off the jagged walls. The path narrowed, forcing them to tread cautiously. Pools of thick, dark liquid—likely monster blood—littered the ground, evidence of the countless battles fought here.

Sakuya wiped her katanas clean on a stray piece of cloth, her sharp eyes scanning the dimly lit tunnel ahead. ”How many does that make now? Five hundred? Six hundred?”

Luna shrugged, a smirk on her face as she flexed her golden, glowing gloves. ”Whoʼs counting? Letʼs just say too many to keep track of. But Iʼm not complaining—good exercise.”

The two women pressed on, their movements synchronized from hours of fighting together. They entered another cavern where an ambush awaited them. Hordes of monsters—some humanoid, others grotesque amalgamations of various beasts—rushed toward them, snarling and screeching.

Luna took the lead, her body shimmering with the golden light of her Holy Tier magic. She darted through the crowd with inhuman speed, her fists glowing as they slammed into enemies with explosive force. Each punch sent monsters flying, the shockwaves of her strikes rippling through the cavern.

Sakuya, meanwhile, danced through the chaos like a specter. Her twin katanas gleamed with a mixture of Wind, Space, and Darkness magic. She slashed through enemies with precision, her blades leaving trails of black and silver light in their wake. At times, she vanished completely, reappearing behind her targets to deliver deadly blows.

The ground beneath them shook as larger monsters emerged—a towering ogre wielding a massive club and a serpent-like creature with venomous fangs.

”Iʼll take the big guy,” Sakuya called out, her eyes gleaming

as she dashed toward the towering ogre. The beast roared, swinging its massive club with devastating force. Sakuya smirked, vanishing in a flash of wind and reappearing just above the ogreʼs head. With a spin, her katanas sliced through the air, creating arcs of wind that struck the ogreʼs thick hide.

The beast staggered, swinging wildly to retaliate, but Sakuya was already gone, her agility and mastery over Space magic making her untouchable. Her attacks were relentless—each strike finding a weak point, each step taking her out of harmʼs way.

Meanwhile, Luna faced off against the serpent-like monster. The creature lunged at her, its venomous fangs aiming for her throat. Luna sidestepped with ease, her glowing fists slamming into the serpentʼs side. The impact created a shockwave that sent nearby smaller monsters sprawling.

”Not so tough now, are you?” Luna quipped, her voice filled with confidence. She leaped into the air, her golden aura intensifying as she delivered a devastating punch to the serpentʼs head. The creature writhed in pain, its hisses turning into anguished shrieks.

The two women fought in perfect harmony, their contrasting styles complementing each other. Sakuyaʼs precise and deadly strikes cleared the path, while Lunaʼs overwhelming strength and speed kept the monsters disoriented and off balance.

As the last of the horde fell, the cavern fell silent. Both women paused to catch their breath, the golden glow around Luna gradually fading as her Holy Tier magic settled.

Sakuya wiped a bead of sweat from her brow, glancing at the destruction around them. ”That was… entertaining,” she said with a smirk.

”Entertaining? That was exhilarating!” Luna replied, her energy still high. She reached into her pouch, pulling out a few cookies. ”Quick break before the next wave?”

Sakuya chuckled, taking a cookie as well. ”Sure. But I have a feeling the funʼs not over yet.”

Their instincts proved correct. As they ventured deeper, the oppressive energy of the berserk dungeon grew stronger. The walls seemed to pulse with malevolent energy, and the faint sound of fighting echoed from somewhere ahead.

Their pace quickened, and soon, they entered a massive chamber where Alex stood amidst a pile of monster corpses. His black coat was dancing in the wind as if cheering the massacre, and his silver gun, Silveria, gleamed in the dim light. His sharp eyes locked onto them as they entered, a small smile playing on his lips.

”Finally,” Alex said, his voice calm but filled with relief. ”I was starting to think Iʼd have to clear this place alone.”

Sakuya crossed her arms, her katanas still at the ready. ”Looks like youʼve been busy.”

Luna grinned, rolling her shoulders. ”About time we found you. Letʼs finish this together.”

Alexʼs smile widened as he reloaded Silveria with a flick of his wrist. ”Together, then my ladies.”

The reunited trio stood shoulder to shoulder, their combined strength radiating like a beacon in the berserk dungeon. The air grew heavy again as more monsters emerged, drawn by the chaos. This time, however, the monsters were no match for the combined might of Alex, Luna, and Sakuya.

Each of them moved with purpose and precision, their attacks weaving together in a symphony of destruction. Alexʼs elemental bullets tore through the enemies, Lunaʼs golden fists crushed anything in her path, and Sakuyaʼs deadly blades carved through the chaos.

As the last monster fell, Alex turned to the two women, nodding in approval. ”Letʼs keep moving. Thereʼs more to this dungeon, and I donʼt plan on leaving until weʼve dealt with whatever caused this mess.”

The horde of monsters surged forward, their roars filling the air like a deafening symphony of chaos. Sakuya and Luna instinctively prepared to strike, their weapons at the ready, when suddenly, Alex stepped forward, a calm yet commanding presence radiating from him.

”Stay back,” he said softly, his voice carrying an undeniable authority.

Before the girls could react, Alex activated his temporal abilities. The air around them shimmered as time itself seemed to freeze. The once-ferocious monsters halted mid-charge, their twisted forms locked in place like grotesque statues.

The girls could only watch in awe as Alex moved through the frozen battlefield with impossible grace. He didnʼt just strike; he orchestrated a masterful display of destruction. Silveria, gleaming with a silvery-blue light, unleashed a barrage of precision shots. Each bullet was imbued with a different element—fire, ice, lightning—exploding upon impact and reducing the monsters to ash, frost, or charred remains.

For those monsters beyond the reach of Silveria, Alex drew his black sword, Nyx, and moved like a shadow among them. His blade cut through their frozen forms with ease, leaving trails of dark energy that consumed whatever was left.

The girls remained still, their senses overwhelmed by the sheer power and efficiency of Alexʼs assault. Time resumed with a sudden rush, and the fifty-something monsters that had been charging toward them disintegrated into nothingness.

The battlefield fell silent, save for the faint hum of residual energy from Alexʼs abilities. He sheathed Nyx with a fluid motion, spinning Silveria in his hand before holstering it. Turning back to Sakuya and Luna, he smiled, his silver eyes gleaming.

”All clear,” he said casually, as though he hadnʼt just performed an impossible feat.

Luna blinked, her mouth slightly open. ”Your Temporal ability is such a cheat!”

Sakuya, ever composed, narrowed her eyes but couldnʼt hide the hint of admiration in her voice.

”Well, his whole existence is broken, a bug I tell you.”

Alex shrugged his shoulders wearing a thin smile while Silveria materialized joining the fun.
