Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1867 - 1656: 4 Vs 1 Part 2

As the training ground reset, Alex stepped into the center once more, his sword glinting in the morning sun. Opposite him stood the next group of four—Gracier, Saeko, Artemia, and Sera. Each of them radiated determination, their unique energies filling the air as they prepared to face their leader.

Gracier, Alexʼs sister, stood confidently with her magical bow in hand, flames flickering along its edge. She was the goddess of flame, her mastery of fire unparalleled, her precision deadly. Beside her, Saeko held her katana with calm poise, the wind swirling faintly around her like a loyal companion. Artemia, always composed, gripped her staff, her mastery over water and lightning promising a stormy battle ahead. Finally, Sera, the shadowy assassin, wielded twin daggers, her aura of wind and darkness blending into a lethal mix.

Alex smiled at them, his excitement barely contained. ”This should be fun,” he said, gripping his sword.

The battle started with an explosive synergy. Gracier launched a volley of flaming arrows, each one streaking through the air like a meteor. Alex weaved through them, his movements precise, deflecting some with his sword while dodging others.

Saeko darted in next, her katana glowing with wind magic as she unleashed a series of rapid, slicing strikes. Alex met her blade with his own, their clash sending sparks and gusts of wind rippling outward.

From the side, Artemia summoned a torrent of water, the liquid swirling into a spiraling wave that surged toward Alex. Simultaneously, Sera disappeared into the shadows, her presence vanishing as she melded with the darkness.

Alex reacted swiftly. He summoned a wall of ice to meet Artemiaʼs attack, the barrier freezing the water mid-flow. As shards of ice scattered, Saeko pressed her advantage, her katana a blur as she struck with precision. Alex parried her blade, sidestepped, and countered with a sweeping arc of fire, forcing her to leap back.

”Not bad,” Saeko said, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Before Alex could reply, Gracier loosed another volley of arrows, this time combining fire with wind. The arrows exploded mid-air, scattering smaller, flaming projectiles in all directions. Alex spun his sword, creating a vortex of wind and water to extinguish the flames, but the distraction was enough for Sera to strike.

Emerging from the shadows, Seraʼs twin daggers glinted with dark energy. She appeared behind Alex, her movements nearly silent. She aimed a precise strike at his back, but Alex sensed her presence and spun just in time to block with his sword.

Their eyes met briefly, Seraʼs calm intensity mirroring Alexʼs focus. She pressed her attack, her daggers moving in rapid, unpredictable patterns, each slash augmented by gusts of wind and tendrils of darkness.

”Youʼre quick,” Alex remarked, deflecting her strikes with calculated movements.

”Not quick enough,” Sera replied, smirking as Artemiaʼs lightning bolt shot toward him from the side.

Artemiaʼs lightning crackled through the air, forcing Alex to disengage from Sera. He raised his sword, channeling ice magic to absorb the bolt. The electricity crackled harmlessly along his blade before dissipating into the ground.

Gracier took the opportunity to strike. She drew back her bowstring, conjuring a massive flaming arrow infused with wind magic. The projectile roared toward Alex, its sheer heat distorting the air around it.

Alex countered with a wall of water, the collision creating an explosion of steam that enveloped the battlefield.

Taking advantage of the obscuring mist, Saeko and Sera launched a coordinated assault. Saekoʼs katana slashed through the steam with razor precision, the wind surrounding her blade cutting clean arcs toward Alex. At the same time, Sera darted in and out of the shadows, her daggers striking from unpredictable angles.

Alex moved like a tempest, his sword blocking Saekoʼs strikes while his free hand conjured bursts of fire to fend off Sera. The three of them moved at a blistering pace, their weapons clashing and sparking in rapid succession.

Meanwhile, Artemia prepared her next move. She raised her staff, summoning a storm of water and lightning that swirled into a massive sphere above her head. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the sphere hurtling toward the center of the battlefield.

Alex noticed the incoming attack and smiled.

”Impressive,” he said, leaping high into the air. He slashed downward with his sword, sending a wave of fire and ice that split the sphere in two. The resulting explosion of steam and electricity illuminated the battlefield, forcing everyone to reposition.

Gracier took the lead, channeling her full power. She floated slightly above the ground, her bow glowing with a radiant, fiery aura. She drew the bowstring back with both hands, creating a massive arrow of pure flame.

”Letʼs see how you handle this!” she shouted, releasing the arrow.

The projectile exploded mid-flight, releasing a rain of smaller fireballs that carpeted the battlefield. Each fireball homed in on Alex, their intense heat forcing him to summon a protective dome of ice.

As the firestorm subsided, Alex lowered his dome and stepped forward, his sword glowing with a mix of fire and lightning. He moved with blinding speed, closing the distance between him and Gracier in an instant.

Before he could strike, Saeko intercepted him, her katana clashing against his blade with a resounding clang. Sera appeared at his flank, her daggers aiming for his sides, but Alex deflected her strikes with a burst of wind.

”Good teamwork,” Alex said, his voice steady despite the intensity of the battle.

Artemia launched a series of lightning bolts, and Gracier followed up with another volley of flaming arrows. Alex danced through the onslaught, his sword deflecting the lightning while his fire magic neutralized the arrows.

The four fighters regrouped for one final coordinated attack.

Gracier created a massive fiery vortex, its swirling flames fueled by her wind magic.

In the meantime, Artemia summoned a torrent of water infused with lightning, the currents crackling with energy.

Saeko charged forward, her katana glowing with concentrated wind magic while Sera disappeared into the shadows, her presence a lurking threat.

Alex raised his sword, channeling all his elements into a single, radiant aura. As the groupʼs combined attack surged toward him, he unleashed a wave of fire, ice, and lightning, the elemental energy colliding with their magic in a dazzling explosion.

As the dust settled, Alex stood at the center of the battlefield, breathing heavily but still steady. Gracier, Saeko, Artemia, and Sera were scattered around, each of them catching their breath but smiling in satisfaction.

”That was intense,” Gracier said, wiping sweat from her brow.

Saeko sheathed her katana, her expression calm but pleased. ”You pushed us hard.”

Alex smiled, lowering his sword. ”Youʼve all improved. Your coordination was excellent.”

Artemia nodded, her voice calm. ”But we still have a long way to go to beat you.”

Sera, always quiet, gave a small nod of agreement.

Alex chuckled. ”Keep training, and who knows? Maybe next time, youʼll win.”
