Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1857 - 1646: Mountain Camping

A new day begun. Sunday arrived,. Eager to spend some time together, she made her way to Alexʼs room. After a cozy lunch, the couple decided to make the most of their free time and head out of the fortress for some adventure. They set their sights on the snowy mountains, where a fresh layer of powder had fallen, perfect for snow drifting.

The drive out was scenic and calm, the winding roads lined with frost-covered trees shimmering in the daylight. As they neared the mountains, the landscape transformed into a winter wonderland, with towering peaks cloaked in snow and pine trees bending under the weight of ice.

Once they reached a secluded spot, the couple unloaded their gear, their breaths clouding in the chilly air as they exchanged excited grins. Alex took the wheel first, easing the car onto the slick, snow-covered stretch, where he expertly navigated the turns, letting the car slide and drift smoothly across the icy surface. Eris cheered him on, her laughter ringing out as they skidded around corners with exhilarating precision.

After a few rounds, she took a turn, gripping the wheel with determination. Alex encouraged her, offering tips as she tried her hand at snow drifting. She quickly got the hang of it, steering through the curves, her eyes sparkling with thrill as she matched his skill. Together, they drifted through the mountain pass, the world around them a blur of white as they moved in perfect rhythm with the snow.

When they finally paused to catch their breath, they stepped out of the car and stood together, looking out over the snowy landscape. The quiet of the mountains enveloped them, and for a moment, everything felt still and peaceful. Snowflakes began to fall gently, dusting their hair and coats as they held each other close, sharing the warmth against the winter chill.

As the afternoon faded into twilight, the couple packed up and made their way back down the mountain, feeling a rush of contentment. The snowy adventure had brought them closer, the memories of laughter and shared moments warming them as they returned to the city, hearts full and spirits lightened.

”Letʼs camp here tonight!”

Alexʼs suggestion to camp in the mountains brought a spark of excitement to Erieʼs eyes, and she eagerly agreed. Together, they scouted a secluded, flat spot nestled among the trees, with a stunning view of the snow-dusted mountains. Once they found the perfect location, Alex reached into his item box and pulled out a modern, high-tech tent, effortlessly setting it up in no time.

Inside, the tent was surprisingly spacious and cozy, designed to keep out the cold mountain air. A single large bed dominated the interior, draped in plush, insulated blankets in deep forest green and lined with soft, luxurious bedding. Thick, fluffy pillows were stacked at the head of the bed, inviting them to sink in and relax. Small lanterns hung from the tent poles, casting a gentle, warm glow over the space, making it feel like a little haven in the middle of the wilderness.

To one side, a compact heating unit radiated a comforting warmth, ensuring that the interior remained cozy despite the cold outside. There was a small storage area stocked with supplies—snacks, thermoses of hot cocoa, and extra blankets—adding to the comfort of their impromptu mountain retreat. The atmosphere was serene, and the sound of the soft wind outside only enhanced the sense of tranquility within. It was a perfect, intimate hideaway where they could relax together, safe and warm in their own private corner of the mountains.

As the evening settled in, Alex decided to go hunting to prepare a fresh meal for their cozy mountain camp. He ventured into the nearby woods and, after a bit of skillful tracking, returned with a rabbit. Eris, with her usual grace and culinary creativity, took over from there, preparing the rabbit with rice and vegetables theyʼd packed along. The aroma of the dish filled the tent, blending with the crisp, pine-scented mountain air.

The meal was simple yet elegant, with tender bites of rabbit mixed with fluffy rice and lightly seasoned vegetables, creating a satisfying warmth perfect for a chilly night in the mountains. They shared the meal together, savoring each bite, enjoying both the flavors and the quiet companionship that came with it.

After their dinner, they stepped outside the tent, wrapped in blankets, and found a soft patch of snow to sit on. Above them, the night sky stretched wide, filled with countless stars shimmering brightly in the deep blue expanse. Together, they gazed upward, tracing constellations and sharing stories, their voices soft in the silence of the mountain night. The stars seemed to shine just a bit brighter, casting a gentle light over the snow-covered landscape and making the night feel both infinite and intimate, a perfect moment shared between two kindred spirits.

As the night deepened, Alex and Eris retreated into their tent, the warmth inside a stark contrast to the crisp mountain air outside. They lay together on the large, cozy bed, wrapped in each otherʼs embrace, feeling the quiet closeness that words couldnʼt capture. The gentle rise and fall of their breathing fell into sync, creating a comforting rhythm as they held each other, the soft glow from the lanterns casting warm shadows over their intertwined forms.

In the stillness, their feelings for each other began to blossom, a subtle yet undeniable warmth growing between them. Every gentle touch, every whispered word seemed to deepen their connection, unspoken emotions flowing like the soft hum of the night wind outside. They felt safe, seen, and understood in each otherʼs presence, a kind of bond that needed no declaration, only the quiet realization that theyʼd both found something precious.

The night passed slowly and beautifully, each moment filled with a tender closeness that neither wanted to end. As they drifted off to sleep in each otherʼs arms, they knew that whatever lay ahead, this growing feeling would be a light guiding them, a promise of companionship and love blossoming gently within them both.
