Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1865 - 1654: Two versus One 4

The morning sun bathed the training grounds in a warm golden light as Alex stood at the center of the expansive arena, his sword resting lightly in his grip. Across from him, Incursio and Alice stood side by side, their identical white hair catching the sunlight like strands of silk, their amber eyes glowing with anticipation. The resemblance between the two women was uncanny; they moved with the same poise, their stances mirror images of one another. Despite the air of calm surrounding them, Alex knew the storm they could unleash.

Unlike the other matches, this was not just about raw power or technique. Incursio and Alice, with their mastery over all elements, were the pinnacle of versatility. Alex himself could wield all elements, making this an unprecedented battle of adaptability, creativity, and precision.

”Letʼs not hold back,” Alex said, his voice steady. He adjusted his grip on his sword, the faint hum of his magic vibrating through the air.

Incursio smirked, her stance shifting slightly as her training sword glimmered faintly with light and shadow magic intertwined. ”We wouldnʼt dream of it.”

Alice, ever serene, nodded, her blade glowing with a faint aura of elemental energy. ”Show us what youʼve got, master.”

Incursio made the first move, vanishing in a blur of speed. She reappeared to Alexʼs right, her sword descending in a sharp arc laced with a trail of lightning. Alex turned, parrying the strike with precision, the impact sending a ripple of energy through the ground.

Alice followed immediately, her blade infused with wind and water magic as she struck from the opposite side. Her movements were fluid and graceful, each slash of her sword accompanied by a burst of slicing wind or a jet of water aimed to unbalance Alex.

Alex spun, deflecting Aliceʼs strike with a controlled burst of fire that evaporated the incoming water. He transitioned seamlessly into a counterattack, his sword glowing with earth magic as he slammed it into the ground. A jagged pillar of stone erupted between Incursio and Alice, forcing them apart.

Incursio stepped back, her amber eyes narrowing. She raised her free hand, summoning a barrage of glowing fireballs that rained down on Alex like meteors. Simultaneously, Alice cast a wave of frost across the arena, the icy surface threatening to trap Alexʼs movements.

Alex reacted instantly, summoning a shield of swirling wind that deflected the fireballs. He leapt into the air, avoiding the frost spreading across the ground, and retaliated with a barrage of his own. Bolts of lightning shot from his free hand, arcing toward Incursio and Alice with crackling ferocity.

Alice countered with a shimmering wall of water, the bolts sizzling harmlessly as they were absorbed. Incursio took advantage of the distraction, teleporting directly in front of Alex. Her blade hummed with light and darkness magic as she struck, her attacks an unpredictable blend of blinding flashes and shadows that disoriented him.

Alex gritted his teeth, his focus sharpening. He channeled pure energy into his blade, creating a burst of raw elemental force that sent Incursio flying back. Before Alice could react, Alex slammed his foot into the icy ground, shattering it with a wave of earth magic. The fragments rose into the air, transforming into a storm of sharp projectiles that hurtled toward Alice.

Alice twirled her sword, casting a vortex of wind that deflected the shards with effortless precision. She launched herself into the air, her blade glowing with solar fire as she descended toward Alex like a comet.

Alex met her midair, their swords clashing in a spectacular explosion of light and fire. The force of their collision sent shockwaves rippling through the arena, scattering dust and debris. They landed simultaneously, neither gaining the upper hand.

Incursio and Alice regrouped, their movements synchronized as they prepared their next assault. Alex could feel the shift in their energy; they were pooling their power together.

Incursio raised her sword, the sky above darkening as swirling storm clouds formed. Bolts of lightning danced within the roiling mass, and heavy winds began to howl across the battlefield. Alice joined her, the ground trembling as massive columns of fire erupted, intertwining with the descending rain and lightning.

Together, the sisters unleashed a devastating combined attack—a colossal vortex of elemental energy that consumed everything in its path.

Alex stood his ground, his own energy building to match theirs. He slammed his sword into the ground, summoning a barrier of pure elemental force that surrounded him. The vortex collided with his shield, the clash of power creating a blinding explosion that lit up the entire training ground.

As the dust settled, Alex emerged, his eyes glowing with determination. He charged forward, his blade now infused with every element at once—fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and ice swirling together in perfect harmony.

Incursio and Alice met him head-on, their combined attacks just as relentless. The three fighters moved in a blur of motion, their strikes creating ripples of energy that shook the very ground.

Incursioʼs blade clashed with Alexʼs in a flurry of light and shadow, while Aliceʼs frost-covered strikes forced him to adapt with bursts of fire. Alex countered with precise combinations of wind to deflect, earth to anchor, and lightning to disrupt their rhythm.

Despite their combined efforts, Alexʼs sheer adaptability and overwhelming force began to turn the tide. With a final, sweeping strike, he unleashed a wave of energy that knocked both Incursio and Alice off balance.

Incursio and Alice landed gracefully, breathing heavily but smiling. Their amber eyes sparkled with respect and satisfaction.

”Youʼve gotten extremely stronger, Alex,” Incursio said, sheathing her sword.

Alice nodded, brushing a strand of white hair from her face. ”But donʼt think this is the best we can do. Next time, weʼll push you even harder. Maybe going really all out without holding anything back just as if we were mortal enemies m.”

Alex chuckled, lowering his sword. ”Iʼd expect nothing less.”

The three exchanged nods of mutual respect before leaving the arena, the training ground still buzzing with the echoes of their incredible battle.
