Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1880 - 1667: Girls moment

The sun hung high over Alexʼs floating fortress, casting its golden rays onto the shimmering pool nestled within the sprawling gardens. The pool was an architectural masterpiece, surrounded by polished white stone, lush greenery, and cascading waterfalls that fed into its crystalline waters. The sound of the waterʼs gentle flow mingled with the laughter of the women as they enjoyed their time together.

Gracier, ever full of energy, splashed into the water with an impressive cannonball, sending a wave of cool water over Saeko, who sat on the edge of the pool, her feet dangling in the water. The swordswoman, known for her calm demeanor, let out a rare, playful laugh as the splash hit her.

”Gracier!” Saeko called, trying to sound stern but failing miserably as a smile tugged at her lips.

”Come on, Saeko! Join me!” Gracier teased, swimming backward with a mischievous grin. Her dark red hair fanned out behind her like a trail of fire, contrasting beautifully against the aquamarine pool.

On the other side, Artemia lounged on a floating chair, her silver hair shimmering under the sunlight. She sipped a cool drink and watched the chaos unfold with an amused expression. ”Youʼll never beat Gracierʼs energy, Saeko. Might as well dive in.”

Artemiaʼs calm observation was interrupted by a sudden burst of water that drenched her face. She blinked, her calm demeanor faltering for a moment as she spotted Sera smirking nearby. The assassin floated effortlessly on her back, her dark hair glistening, and her sharp eyes dancing with mischief.

”Oops,” Sera said, feigning innocence.

Artemia sighed dramatically, setting her drink aside. ”Fine. If you want a war…” She slipped off her floating chair with surprising agility and began conjuring small jets of water with precise flicks of her fingers, sending them toward Sera.

Meanwhile, Ariel, Leonʼs fiancée, marveled at the lighthearted camaraderie. As an outsider, she had initially felt a bit hesitant about joining Alexʼs women in their playful antics, but their warm acceptance had quickly put her at ease. Dressed in a simple yet elegant swimsuit that highlighted her ethereal beauty, she stood on the edge of the pool, her golden hair cascading down her back like a waterfall.

”Come on, Ariel!” Luna called out, waving from the middle of the pool. The healer had temporarily set aside her usual serene persona, splashing water at Incursio, who retaliated with equal enthusiasm.

”I donʼt know,” Ariel hesitated, glancing down at the water. ”Iʼm not very good at this.”

Gracier swam over and grabbed Arielʼs hand. ”Nonsense! Itʼs just for fun. Jump in!”

With a little encouragement, Ariel finally dove gracefully into the pool, her movements elegant and fluid. She resurfaced with a delighted laugh, her initial hesitation melting away as Gracier dragged her into a playful water fight.

Incursio, ever competitive, smirked as she watched the others. ”If this is turning into a battle, Iʼm in.” She unleashed a wave that sent Gracier tumbling backward, earning an indignant squeal from the younger dragon girl.

”Thatʼs not fair, Incursio!” Gracier protested, summoning a small vortex of water in retaliation.

The battle quickly escalated, with jets of water flying in every direction. The air was filled with laughter and shrieks of mock outrage as the women unleashed their elemental abilities in creative and playful ways. Artemia controlled the flow of water like an artist painting on a canvas, while Luna created shimmering shields of light to block incoming splashes.

Ariel, despite being new to the group, found herself swept up in the joyous chaos. She teamed up with Gracier to take on Saeko and Sera, their combined efforts resulting in a spectacular splash that soaked everyone nearby.

From the terrace overlooking the pool, Alex watched the scene unfold with a smile. The sound of their laughter was music to his ears, a reminder of the bonds that tied them all together.

As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow over the fortress, the group finally settled down. They lounged on the poolʼs edge, sharing stories and jokes, their faces glowing with happiness.

”This was fun,” Ariel said softly, her cheeks flushed from exertion. She glanced around at the other women, her eyes filled with gratitude. ”Thank you for including me.”

”Youʼre part of the family now,” Artemia said, her voice warm. ”Get used to it.”

The women laughed, and Ariel couldnʼt help but smile. For the first time in a long while, she felt truly at home.

That evening, the fortressʼs living quarters were filled with laughter and the warm glow of candlelight as the women gathered in one of the coziest lounges for a much-anticipated pajama party. The room was transformed into a haven of comfort: plush cushions were scattered across the floor, soft blankets draped over the furniture, and the faint aroma of hot chocolate and freshly baked treats wafted through the air.

The women arrived one by one, dressed in their favorite sleepwear. Gracier, as the youngest, wore an adorable red onesie adorned with tiny dragons, her hair tied up in twin buns that made her look even more youthful. She bounded into the room with infectious energy, clutching a bag of snacks.

”Okay, whoʼs ready to have some fun?” she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Saeko, ever graceful, wore a silky lavender nightgown that complemented her serene demeanor. She carried a tray of tea, setting it down on the low table in the center of the room. ”Letʼs not get too chaotic, Gracier,” she teased with a gentle smile.

Artemia and Sera entered together, both opting for comfortable yet stylish pajamas. Artemiaʼs were silver with intricate floral patterns, matching her regal aura, while Sera wore a dark, loose-fitting set that hinted at her assassinʼs practicality.

”Iʼll keep an eye on her,” Sera said, ruffling Gracierʼs hair as she passed.

Incursio, never one to be outdone, arrived in bold fashion—a black tank top and shorts that exuded confidence. She carried a bottle of sparkling juice, raising it in mock celebration. ”Ladies, letʼs make this a night to remember.”

Luna and Ariel followed shortly after, Luna in soft pastel pajamas that made her look even more angelic, and Ariel in a simple yet elegant white gown that accentuated her ethereal beauty. The two carried an assortment of desserts, from delicate pastries to a towering plate of cookies.

The group quickly settled in, arranging themselves in a circle on the floor. Pillows flew as they made themselves comfortable, and Gracier immediately claimed the center spot.

The evening began with a series of lighthearted games. Truth or Dare was the first to make the rounds, with Gracier daring Artemia to sing a silly song and Saeko being asked to share a secret crush from her past. The laughter was contagious, and even the usually reserved Sera found herself blushing as she was dared to compliment everyone in the room.

As the night wore on, the conversation shifted to deeper topics. They talked about their adventures, their dreams, and their fears, sharing stories that brought them closer together. Ariel opened up about her life before meeting Leonardo, her voice tinged with nostalgia and gratitude. The others listened intently, offering words of encouragement and understanding.

To lighten the mood, Incursio suggested a pillow fight. The room erupted into chaos as pillows flew in every direction, laughter and playful shrieks echoing off the walls. Even Luna, who rarely indulged in such antics, joined in, her giggles adding to the lively atmosphere.

After the pillow fight, the group settled down with mugs of hot chocolate, topped with generous dollops of whipped cream and sprinkles. Gracier took charge of marshmallow distribution, ensuring everyone had just the right amount.

”Okay, but seriously,” Incursio said, leaning back against a pile of cushions, ”if weʼre ever in a situation where we need to sneak past guards, Iʼm bringing Gracier. That girl can distract anyone.”

”Hey!” Gracier protested, but her pout quickly turned into a laugh. ”Iʼm not that bad.”

”Youʼre adorable, thatʼs what you are,” Artemia said, giving Gracier a playful nudge.

The evening wound down with a movie. They piled onto a massive couch, wrapped in blankets, and watched a classic romantic comedy that had them all laughing and groaning at the predictable plot twists. By the time the credits rolled, half the group was dozing off, their faces relaxed and peaceful.

As the last few candles flickered out, the room fell silent, save for the soft sound of breathing. The pajama party had been a success—a night of bonding, laughter, and shared memories that strengthened their already unbreakable friendship.
