Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1866 - 1655: 4 Vs 1

The training ground was alive with anticipation as Alex faced his next challenge: a group of four formidable fighters, each with their unique strengths and abilities. Incursio, Alice, Sakuya, and Luna stood in a loose formation, their expressions a mix of determination and excitement. This wasnʼt just a sparring session; it was a test of teamwork, strategy, and skill against a singular opponent who had proven himself time and again.

Alex stood at the center of the arena, calm and composed, his sword resting lightly in his grip. His piercing gaze swept over the group, analyzing their stances and potential strategies.

”Four against one, huh?” Alex said with a wry smile. ”I hope youʼre ready. I wonʼt be holding back.”

Incursio smirked, her blade shimmering faintly with a mix of light and shadow. ”Good. Neither will we.”

The group struck first, their coordination flawless. Incursio and Alice led the charge, their movements perfectly synchronized. Incursioʼs blade glowed with elemental magic as she unleashed a flurry of strikes aimed to keep Alex on the defensive, while Alice circled around, her blade radiating frost and wind as she sought to flank him.

Sakuya stayed back, her katana shimmering with spatial distortions as she prepared to exploit openings. Meanwhile, Lunaʼs hands glowed with light magic, enhancing her speed and strength while maintaining a defensive stance to cover her teammates.

Alex met Incursioʼs assault head-on, his sword moving in precise arcs to parry her strikes. Sparks flew as their blades clashed, the sheer force of their exchanges sending shockwaves through the air. Alex sidestepped just as Alice closed in, narrowly avoiding her frost-coated blade. He countered with a burst of fire, forcing her to retreat.

Sakuya seized the opportunity to strike. She slashed her katana, and the space around Alex warped suddenly, distorting his perception of distance. Her blade seemed to extend unnaturally as she lunged, aiming for a critical hit.

Alex adjusted instantly, summoning a barrier of ice to block her strike. The spatial distortion caused the ice to shatter unpredictably, forcing Alex to leap backward. As he did, Luna surged forward, her fists glowing with golden light. She delivered a rapid series of punches, each one strengthened by her magic, forcing Alex to block with his blade.

”Youʼre not holding back at all, are you?” Alex remarked, deflecting Lunaʼs strikes with quick, precise movements.

”Not when youʼre the opponent,” Luna replied with a determined smile.

The group pressed their advantage. Incursio switched to ranged attacks, hurling spears of shadow and light that converged on Alex from multiple angles. Alice followed suit, sending waves of frost and slicing wind to restrict his movements.

Alex countered by spinning his blade in a wide arc, creating a vortex of fire and wind that dispersed the incoming attacks. But Sakuya exploited the chaos, teleporting behind him with her katana aimed for a decisive strike.

Anticipating her move, Alex pivoted and parried her blade, their weapons locking in a brief but intense struggle. Before he could retaliate, Luna launched a wall of water from the side, forcing Alex to disengage.

Realizing he couldnʼt stay on the defensive forever, Alex decided to up the ante. He slammed his sword into the ground, sending a shockwave of earth magic that disrupted the groupʼs formation. Jagged pillars of stone erupted, forcing the four fighters to reposition.

He followed up with a barrage of lightning bolts, each one crackling with precision as they targeted Incursio and Alice. The two women worked in tandem, Incursio deflecting the bolts with her light magic while Alice used wind to redirect the rest harmlessly into the ground.

Alex didnʼt let up, teleporting directly in front of Incursio. Their blades clashed in a dazzling display of speed and power, the sheer intensity of their duel pushing Incursio to her limits.

”Impressive,” she said through gritted teeth, parrying a particularly forceful strike. ”But weʼre just getting started.”

The group regrouped, their energy pooling together for a coordinated assault.

Incursio stepped forward, her sword glowing with both light and shadow as she began channeling her full strength. Alice stood beside her, frost and wind swirling around her blade in a chilling cyclone. Behind them, Sakuya and Luna coordinated their magic. Sakuyaʼs spatial distortions shimmered like heat waves, creating an unpredictable battlefield, while Lunaʼs light-infused aura radiated like a protective shield around the group.

Alex braced himself, sensing the shift in their energy. He gripped his sword tightly, its blade now glowing with a combination of fire and ice. His expression was serious, but his eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Incursio and Alice charged together, their movements perfectly synchronized. Incursio unleashed rapid, precise strikes infused with light and shadow magic, each swing creating an unpredictable dual-elemental trail that forced Alex to block with pinpoint accuracy. Alice flanked him, her frost-coated blade slicing in arcs that sent shards of ice flying through the air.

Alex deflected Incursioʼs strikes, parrying her glowing blade while twisting to dodge Aliceʼs icy slashes. He countered with a burst of fire, sending a wave of flames outward to force them back.

But the momentary reprieve was short-lived. Sakuya warped space around Alex, pulling him slightly off balance as she lunged in with her katana. Her strike appeared to come from an impossible angle, the bladeʼs trajectory bending unnaturally through her spatial manipulation.

Alex caught the attack with his sword, their weapons colliding in a shower of sparks. He pushed her back with a burst of wind, only to find Luna already closing the distance. Her glowing fists struck like a flurry of hammers, each one enhanced with light magic to amplify their speed and force.

Alex pivoted, parrying Lunaʼs strikes with swift, precise movements. He retaliated with a sweeping arc of fire that forced her to retreat. Turning quickly, he unleashed a barrage of icicles toward Alice, who dodged and countered with a vortex of slicing wind.

The wind clashed with his ice, creating a brief explosion of mist that obscured the battlefield. Taking advantage of the cover, Incursio launched a spear of pure shadow magic at Alex. He reacted instantly, raising a barrier of stone that shattered upon impact but absorbed the attack.

The mist cleared, and Alex teleported behind Incursio, aiming a strike at her exposed flank. She spun with incredible speed, their blades meeting in a clash of light and fire. The sheer force of their collision sent shockwaves rippling through the air.

The group regrouped, their teamwork shining as they executed a perfectly timed assault.

Incursio leapt high into the air, raining down a storm of light and shadow energy that blanketed the battlefield in chaotic bursts.

Alice enhanced the storm by summoning a whirlwind of ice shards, turning the air into a swirling blizzard of destruction.

Sakuya warped the battlefield, manipulating space to redirect Alexʼs counters back toward him or toward Luna, who charged forward with glowing fists ready to strike.

Alex summoned a dome of fire around himself, the flames roaring like a living entity as they consumed the incoming attacks. He stepped out of the dome with a burst of speed, his blade glowing with fire and lightning as he targeted Sakuya first.

Sakuyaʼs spatial manipulation flickered as Alex closed the gap. She teleported away at the last second, but Alex followed her instantly, their blades clashing in rapid, precise strikes. Luna intervened, slamming her fist into the ground and creating a shockwave of light that forced Alex to leap back.

Alice and Incursio pressed the advantage, their combined magic creating a storm of frost, wind, and shadows that engulfed Alex. He spun his sword, channeling fire and lightning into a whirling shield of energy that deflected the storm.

”Youʼre pushing me to my limits,” Alex admitted with a grin, his sword crackling with power.

Incursio, Alice, Sakuya, and Luna pooled their energy together for one final coordinated attack.

Incursio created a massive blade of light and shadow energy, the sheer intensity of which distorted the air around her while Alice summoned a spiraling cyclone of frost and wind, its icy tendrils spreading across the battlefield.

Meanwhile, Sakuya opened a spatial rift, amplifying the power of their attacks by compressing and directing them toward Alex.

Luna charged her fists with radiant light, preparing to strike with devastating force.

Alex planted his feet firmly, raising his sword high. His blade glowed with a dazzling fusion of all elements—fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and ice swirling together in perfect harmony. He swung it downward, releasing a wave of pure elemental energy that clashed with the groupʼs combined attack.

The collision created a blinding explosion of light and magic, the shockwave rippling outward and shaking the entire training ground.

As the dust settled, Alex stood at the center of the battlefield, his sword lowered but his stance steady. Incursio, Alice, Sakuya, and Luna were spread out, breathing heavily but still standing.

”That was incredible,” Incursio said, wiping sweat from her brow.

Alice nodded, her voice calm but laced with admiration. ”You didnʼt hold back. Neither did we.”

Alex smiled, sheathing his sword. ”Your teamwork was impressive. You pushed me harder than I expected.”

The four women exchanged proud smiles, their exhaustion outweighed by the satisfaction of the intense battle. They knew they had given their all—and so had Alex.

”Next time,” Sakuya said with a playful smirk, ”weʼll tip the scales even more in our favor.”

Alex chuckled. ”I look forward to it.”
