Warhammer Divine Throne

”It seems this world is highly dangerous. Ever since I arrived, I feel like there are a hundred things as heavy as myself pressing down on me. It’s really... a bit uncomfortable,” said Vulcan, the Fire Salamander Primarch, clad in dark green power armor. ”It’s distressing, feeling as though I’m wrapped in bands. What kind of world is this? Our powers are severely limited.”

”This is a world protected by the Great Guardian of the Ancient Saint and restricted by the Elf’s Great Vortex. Everyone is the same,” Angerong said, watching the Bloodthirsty Great Demon he banished completely dissipate into ashes. He explained, ”This is the last refuge of the Ancient Saint. They had their servant, the Shilan Demon Toad, create the Great Guardian. Afterward, the Elves crafted the Great Vortex to protect this world. These two arrays drain the Magic Wind of this world, making it very hard for Chaos Demons to enter the Mortal World, but the powers of mortals are also severely restricted.”

”Weakening both ourselves and the enemy? I’ve encountered this kind of situation more than once,” Kiliman nodded, the Primarch of the Ultimate Warrior glanced around, ”Where’s Fugen?”

”Fugen? He went on the Lustria expedition. There’s no news now; he probably won’t come,” Angerong shook his head and said to a few people, ”Laine is getting married, so you didn’t come empty-handed, did you?”

”We brought many gifts.” The primarchs carried several large boxes into the courtyard. Angerong muttered to himself softly, ”I just knew it.”

”Come sit in the cabin first. Tomorrow we’ll head south to the cathedral; I’ve got your clothes prepared,” Angerong turned and walked toward his newly built forest cabin, ”Father’s Imperial Guard will help you take off the armor.”

”I truly don’t want to see you, Angerong. Every time I see you, I’m reminded of that shameful past,” Leon El Johnson, the Primarch of the First Legion, was the first to catch up with Angerong’s pace. ”If possible, I really would love to kill all you traitors.”

”Hehe, if you really insist, we can have a duel later,” Angerong himself didn’t much like Zhuangsen either; relations weren’t good with many primarchs within. Lorgar still hid inside the Eye of Fear, in endless fear, and Horus was dead. He really had nothing to say to these loyalist primarchs.

”Father emphasized that we’re here to attend the wedding, not to duel,” Zhuangsen’s expression twitched slightly; this was the Emperor’s instruction, and Zhuangsen had no choice but to comply.

”Oh, you can fight to your heart’s content!” Magnus taunted with a sneer on his face, ”Best if both of you end up half-crippled, then we have Kaur make two iron toilets for you, one for each. How perfect, you can accompany me in the Throne Hall. I can hear your dirty words every day, how amusing.”

”Shut up, Magnus, or we’ll pack you up and send you back now!” Kiliman saw the primarchs about to quarrel again, and quickly shouted angrily at Magnus, who was trying to stir things up.

”Quiet... eat,” Clarkson, the Primarch of the Raven Guard, pale as snow, with long hair black as onyx, and a pair of black wings, spoke in his pale and dry voice.

The Fire Salamander Primarch Vulcan surveyed the forest cabin built by Angerong with interest, closely examining Angerong’s collection, ”Wow, does this world really have everything? Green Skin, Chaos Creatures, Undead, and Demons?”

Half an hour later, five primarchs had taken off their armors and were sitting in the open courtyard of the forest cabin. The autumn wind was bleak, hills covered in red leaves, and a creek flowing with a gentle sound. In the courtyard, a plump roasted lamb was ready, along with two barrels of Bagman Black Beer, and many small dishes were already set on the table.

”Is one lamb enough for us? Angerong, didn’t you prepare a bit more?” After sitting down, Red Son Magnus skillfully took a mug from the table, poured a cup of Bagman Beer, and shouted with delight at the rich black beer, ”I’m certain, one lamb, Kiliman alone can eat everything you prepared.”

”I’m not that terrifying, Vulcan might be about it,” Kiliman also poured himself a cup of black beer. He drank it heartily, savoring the excellent black beer of the Dwarves; the Primarch of the Ultimate Warrior couldn’t help but recall his homeland, Makulage, with its beautiful nature like now.

Warlord Kargah was now stationed at Makulage, as there was no recent combat, preparing to respond to Kiliman’s upcoming ”Unyielding Expedition”.

”You are that terrifying, you and your offspring both. I always wonder if you and your Blue Elves are disguised Orcs? How do they seem never-ending?” Magnus greedily breathed the fresh air; he’d been stuck on the Golden Throne for a long time.

Since he appeared, the Emperor no longer needed to be bound by the Golden Throne. In fact, since the Emperor’s return, the Emperor just needed to allocate part of his power to sustain the Golden Throne. Magnus’ role was more about adjusting and controlling than barely maintaining. He occasionally was allowed to walk around the Imperial Palace, albeit under supervision.

”I know one isn’t enough; I’ve already ordered the Imperial Guard to roast a cow and several fish,” Angerong handed over a big bowl of cauliflower, ”Rest assured, plenty to eat, Zhuangsen, here, cut it yourself.”

Zhuangsen took the knife and directly cut a large piece of lamb chop from the roasted lamb, eating heartily.
