Warhammer Divine Throne

”Count!”

”My Lord Count!”

Along the way, many knight’s squires greeted Laine, and Laine politely nodded in response, feeling somewhat hurried. The Divine Chosen Champion of the Lake Fairy had just received an oracle, summoning him to the Lake Fairy Tower.

Lilith the Lake Fairy was already waiting.

Following the castle’s walls, Laine walked quickly, approaching the thick mist of the Lake Fairy. Upon his arrival, the mist parted automatically, revealing the Lake Fairy Tower right before him.

Lilith the Lake Fairy had descended and stood in front of the tower, awaiting Laine’s arrival. Today, the goddess was dressed in a light pink, spotted long dress with a frost and dew applique, sleeveless and strapless. A lace garland adorned her shoulders. Her extraordinary beauty was always accompanied by a radiant smile, the corners of her mouth upturned, her golden, shining long hair hanging straight down to her ankles. Her entire being was adorned with hairpins, garlands, earrings, rings, and bracelets. Even her delicate left ankle was embellished with a bracelet shaped like a golden iris beneath her dress.

Between her dress hung dozens of ribbons, each inscribed with moon-white scriptures, encrusted with platinum and diamonds. The fabric at her chest was tight, forming a deep cleavage.

Lilith the Lake Fairy was meticulously pruning the herbs she planted. Seeing Laine appear, she set down her scissors and smiled, ”Tygris has already arrived in Boldro.”

”The High Elf Archmage Tygris?” Laine was curious, a playful expression on his face, ”Your First Divine Chosen?”

”Yes, I asked him to come. You have become a strong figure of Holy Sanctuary level, and having killed ’Red Eye’ Egil Steelbjorn, even the high elves have heard of you and acknowledged your strength. So, I believe the conditions for you to meet Tygris are now in place.” The Lake Fairy’s bright and charming gaze was fixed on Laine, ”So we should continue with our plan.”

”Your plan?” Laine moved to stand beside the Lake Fairy, his face expressionless.

There is a difference between the First Divine Chosen and the Divine Chosen Champion. If the Divine Chosen are akin to an elite class within a school, the Divine Chosen Champion is the top student of the elite class, and the First Divine Chosen is the class leader.

The First Divine Chosen is appointed by the deities, not necessarily the strongest, but must be obedient and willing to go through fire and water for the deities. Tygris is such a person. Like his brother Terion, he is a descendant of the First Phoenix King Ailarielle. When Terion was selected by the Eternal Queen Ailarielle as her Divine Chosen Champion, Tygris was overlooked due to his weak health, which the high elf God of Wisdom, Hos, was unwilling to accept.

At that time, the Moon Goddess Lilith stepped in, proclaiming Tygris as her First Divine Chosen, even gifting him her staff, ”Lilith’s Moon Staff,” for his use. For hundreds of years since, Tygris has walked the world in Lilith’s name. Lilith’s Moon Staff and Divine Power sustained his frail constitution and unstable life, enhancing his spellcasting abilities. In many ways, Lilith is Tygris’s savior and the source of his survival. Without her divine protection, the frail Tygris would have died countless times.

”Laine~ I didn’t want to hide anything from you, but before, you weren’t strong enough, and telling you wouldn’t have made a difference.” Lilith the Lake Fairy heard the reproach in Laine’s tone, and quickly explained, ”But now it’s different, I think the time is right.”

”…Alright.” Laine acknowledged his previous lack of strength, and he couldn’t argue against it.

Without strength to match ambition, the more you know, the quicker you die.

”You’re truly outstanding, Laine. I don’t know what bloodline you carry, but we must face the fact that your bloodline power is comparable in intensity to that of the First Phoenix King Ailarielle, a lineage both glorious and accursed.” Knowing Laine was still not pleased, Lilith took his arm, ”Come with me!”

With a flash of light, both deity and man were instantly in the Holy Sanctuary within Charon Forest, on Lily Flower Island, shrouded by the Goddess Mist. Here lay a crystal-clear lake, abundant vegetation, and sparse remnants of elven architecture. The two arrived on the grass by the lake.

This is where the Knight Brotherhood was established.

”Walk with me, Laine.” The Lake Fairy’s green eyes held an indescribable depth.

Laine nodded silently. He sensed that the Lake Fairy had something important to tell him.

They strolled along the lakeshore.

”Terion and Tygris, these two brothers are descendants of the First Phoenix King Ailarielle. From a young age, they inherited the powerful bloodline of their ancestors. How powerful is this bloodline? Laine, I think only you can understand the power of a bloodline.” The Lake Fairy walked barefoot, her long dress trailing a significant length behind her, ”They were only at the Legendary Initial Tier when they became adults, yet they joined forces to slay a Great Demon of Slaanesh, En-Kali. And you possess a talent and bloodline comparable to theirs.”

Laine nodded silently. This world is often unfair. If he weren’t the Emperor’s Son, the Genetic Primarch of the Grey Knights, there’s no way he could have reached Holy Sanctuary strength by the age of thirty.
