Warhammer Divine Throne

PS: Some people say that Surya, as a female lead, is somewhat lacking in screen time. After some consideration, I agree, and her scenes will be significantly increased later.

Old World, Brittania, Count Glamorgan’s Domain, Gene Town, Laine’s Count’s Castle, Second-floor Reception Room.

”These are Eslelin’s items; it seems you understand the elves’ preferences well.” On the table were Wood Elf Fruit Wine and exquisite Wood Elf pastries, and Tygris naturally sat at the main seat as he entered, which Laine did not mind, choosing to sit at the guest seat instead.

This isn’t Laine being timid, but rather Tygris is deserving of such respect. His magnificent achievements don’t need to be elaborated upon. As one of the greatest heroes on the side of Order, Tygris deserves to be treated as an honored guest by Laine, especially considering Laine is merely a Count. Given Tygris’s status, if he were to visit the Empire, Emperor Karl Franz would certainly open the gates of the Imperial Capital and lead the Great Nobles to personally greet him.

If not for Tygris, the Empire might have already ceased to exist.

Angerong didn’t come up; he mentioned he had to attend to his cattle, so he didn’t follow along. Besides, he wasn’t interested in what Laine and Tygris might discuss.

The air conditioning in the reception room was turned on, and since Laine’s steward Kasenberg was absent, he promptly invited Mogiana to accompany them, whose identity as a Lake God Witch was sufficient.

Tygris is proficient in all known spells, including the Magic Eight Winds and advanced Eight Wind Combination Magic, totaling nine disciplines. In terms of spellcasting ability in this world, aside from the Ancient Saint’s servant Shilan Demon Toad, Tygris’s spellcasting ability is the World Crown.

”Great to meet you, Lord Tygris.” The Lake God Witch wore a white fringe flowery gown, seated beside Laine, arranging her dress to reveal her slender, straight, pinkish legs and white open-toed high heels.

”You must be Lake God Witch Mogiana? I heard you were injured... Indeed, the Magic Wind manifests unstably within you; you still need time to recuperate.” Tygris nodded, ”Your mana is slowly recovering; I have a Life Magic Potion from the Hos White Tower here, which will hasten your recovery once you consume it.”

The Supreme Grandmaster presented a potion to Mogiana.

”Thank you greatly.” Gratitude shone on Mogiana’s beautiful face as she accepted the potion, tucking it close to her. The Lake God Witch had long been yearning for a swift recovery so she could resume overseeing various duties instead of languishing like a waste inside the Lake Fairy Tower all day.

Leaving here has become impossible for the Lake God Witch; Mogiana has commanded the Saintess Order to move all her belongings from the Kakasong Duchy to here, intending to permanently reside here. When there’s work, she’ll venture out; when not, she’ll return to the Lake Fairy Tower for research, and the Lake Fairy has agreed.

”Laine Macado, I come because of you; you must have noticed, the North’s chaos disturbances are growing increasingly frequent.” Tygris straightforwardly began, not the least bit circumspect, switching to Elf Language upon noticing Laine could speak it, ”Coming from the Northern Wasteland, longboats and dragon ships repeatedly journey south. Barbarians who worship chaos surely received the Deities’ oracle, even Chaos Demons who usually remain inactive have shown signs of venturing inland. First was the ’Beauty’ Prince Sigwald, followed by ’Red Eye’ Egil Steelbjorn. You surely understand what this implies.”

”I understand, the beings in this world are soon to face yet another catastrophe,” Laine nodded.

”Many know of the Moment of Destruction, yet they treat it as mere warning and proverb, though the Moment of Destruction truly exists,” Tygris spoke with faint disappointment, ”Mortals always vie for power, always await the Evil Gods to shatter the mortal realm’s barrier. Only once the earth is drenched in blood do heroes emerge to confront the chaos threats, driving the Chaos Army back into the Chaos Domain, but chaos is everlasting, while mortals’ tenacity remains so fleeting. Even if we repel the chaos, the war and corrosion bring great delight to the Evil Gods, leaving scars on the Mortal World that never heal.”

”I advocated forming a great alliance over a century ago (Great Holy War), defeating the Chaos Eternal God Chosen, the Anointed Aisakuval, and his Chaos Army. Yet, as the enemy disappeared, the fragile union between mortals shattered once more. The Elf Nobility of Ossuan resumed endless plotting and palace coups,” Tygris told Laine, ”Aizhen has ascended.”

”The third Chaos Eternal God Chosen?” Laine had heard of Aizhen from the Lake Fairy.

”Aizhen was formerly known as Didrik, born during the Great Holy War, later becoming a Nord Priest and Paladin of the Justice Church, believing in the God of Justice.” Tygris narrated Aizhen’s story, ”But during one book sorting, he discovered a forbidden scroll, which was perhaps what the God of Darkness intended him to see... the scroll contained the prophecy that the world shall eventually end.”

”Was it just this that shook his faith?” Laine asked in confusion.

”Unknown, I only know he also discovered he possessed Barbarian lineage; his father was a Chaos Champion,” Tygris patiently unfolded the tale, ”The revelation of this so-called truth left Didrik in agony, prompting him to journey to the Imperial Capital’s Justice Church Cathedral seeking guidance. But the Justice Church’s priests and bishop refuted his peculiar assertions, even apprehending him as a heretic for spreading apocalyptic theses. Ultimately, his attempts to supplicate to the Deities yielded nothing.”
