Warhammer Divine Throne

A ”woman” wearing a red scarf on her head, dressed in a tattered shirt and shorts, with an iron chin, walked in from outside the meeting room. She glared with wide eyes filled with overflowing anger, clearly disliking these people, yet having to restrain herself.

”Who is this person?”

”She looks like a pirate!”

”Pirates are not welcome here!”

”Get out!”

”Bodric! Who have you brought here? Are you colluding with pirates?”

The meeting room was instantly in chaos. Faced with this person and smelling the fishy odor emanating from her, the great nobles of Brittania were immediately in an uproar, loudly questioning why Duke Boldro Bodric had brought such a fish-stinking lowly person into the noble court?!

Duke Bodric, clad in the attire of a great noble, felt immense pressure.

However, this was the will of Sea God Manannan. As Manannan’s Divine Chosen Champion, the oracle of the Sea God was unbreakable. Duke Bodric could only brace himself and continue with his introduction: ”Let me introduce her to everyone—she is Airenas-Salt Water Hatred, daughter of Sea God Manannan. Uh... She is here to seek support from Brittania and the Empire because she plans to launch an unprecedented raid on the Northern Norsca Tribe.”

”Daughter of Manannan?” Laine squinted his eyes. This female pirate is the daughter of Sea God Manannan?!

”Bodric! That’s still no reason for you to bring this female pirate into my castle!” Francois was also angry. He stood up directly and shouted at Duke Bodric: ”If anything happens to my family, Bodric, you wait for my army!”

The Empire remained silent while Brittania’s great nobles all angrily berated Duke Bodric’s absurd act, asserting that the sacred and noble meeting room must not be desecrated by a female pirate!

Lake God Witch Mogiana was the most enraged. She stood up immediately, with vicious curses at the tip of her tongue, intending to directly order the knights to drag out the female pirate and kill her, and to arrest Duke Bodric for trial.

Laine quickly held Mogiana back. The Lake God Witch instinctively tried to break free. Seeing this, Laine simply embraced her waist: ”Let him finish, let’s hear Duke Bodric out first.”

Held from behind by Laine, Mogiana felt her entire body go weak, unable to muster any strength. She could only roll her eyes at him angrily and unwillingly sat down.

”I know, I know, Francois, everyone, please let me finish.” Duke Bodric knew this matter greatly damaged his reputation, but the Duke still needed to complete the Sea God’s oracle. Taking advantage of Laine stopping Mogiana’s reproach, he hurriedly explained the background and context.

The daughter of Sea God Manannan was born in the far Northern Wasteland, where it is icy cold all year round. Her father was a chief of a Norsca tribe. The chief originally longed for his wife to bear a strong heir, only to find out that not only was a female baby born, but this baby’s two legs were not human but fish-finned and scaly.

Mutation meant death, and the baby’s fate was sealed. Enraged, the chief threw the female baby directly into the sea the next morning, watching as she was swallowed by the seawater.

But no one knew that this baby survived. Under the will of Sea God Manannan, hundreds of fish leaped out of the water, forming a warm swaddle for the baby. Several sea fairies took the baby to a small bay, feeding her seaweed and crab meat, raising this baby to adulthood.

This baby is the female pirate introduced to everyone by Duke Bodric. Her name is Airenas-Salt Water Hatred.

Upon a brief introduction of the female pirate’s background, the attendees’ attitudes changed slightly in the meeting hall.

It is well-known that Duke Boldro Bodric is dual-belief, worshiping both Sea God Manannan and the Lake Fairy. The First Duke of Boldro, Marcus, was said to have once fought alongside Sea God Manannan on the Great Sea. From Bodric’s story, it is clear that this female pirate is deeply favored by the divine, seemingly even the real daughter of the Sea God, so it is not surprising that Duke Bodric, as the Sea God’s Divine Chosen Champion, is compelled to vouch for the daughter of the deity.

”So, Bodric, bringing this female pirate over, what do you expect us to do? What can we do for the daughter of a deity?” Francois, still simmering with anger, the Duke of Winford said in a deep voice: ”Fit her with new prosthetics? Or buy her shell jewelry?”

Currently, Surya and Laine’s wedding is the top priority, and Francois will allow no mishap to affect the grand wedding!

”Ugh!” The female pirate’s fierce eyes burst with anger. Instinctively, she reached for the trident behind her: ”Be silent! Man!”

Her back was empty. Airenas remembered that her trident was taken away before entering. The hot-tempered female pirate did not care at all; she roared and charged directly at Francois.

Francois drew the Unicorn Sword from his waist, and Laine grasped the hilt of the Goddess of Revenge’s sword behind him. Almost instantly, the atmosphere in the meeting room became incredibly tense.

With the Sea God Trident gleaming a deep blue light blocking her, the female pirate knew it was the gift her father had given to Bodric, and she could only halt her actions.
