Warhammer Divine Throne

Brittania, late autumn, only a few days remain until Laine’s wedding.

Laine and Tygris walked out from the Lake Fairy Tower, both with faces of greenish-blue hues.

”...Tygris, do you think... Alaros listened to anything?” Laine wore a silk costume of a great noble, clasped his hands behind his back, and reluctantly smiled: ”I don’t think he listened to a single word.”

”Perhaps bringing him to meet Lilith was a mistake.” Tygris, dressed in the Great Mage Robe, looked very displeased: ”You didn’t tell Alaros that Lilith often stays here, did you?”

”No.” Laine shook his head repeatedly with his eyes closed.

Laine had been in Helunhilde for almost a week, during which many forces signed countless agreements, reached numerous consensuses. This diplomatic gala left many nobles satisfied, delighted, worried, or frowning, with each one’s needs and stands fully expressed, one contract after another signed.

The dwarfs of Breeze Castle reconciled with the Brittania people, further exchanges between the Empire and Brittania people, Duke of Paragon Casvan also signed a ceasefire agreement with the wood elf representative Lifer, with Casvan symbolically compensating two hundred Gold Crowns worth of food, while the wood elf warned the Duke of Paragon to stay away from the forest, the only trade partner for the entire wood elf being Laine.

The plan to unite with Belgar’s Angland Clan to attack the Black Stone Fortress is under preparation, but Laine was not in a hurry to propose to Belgar because Brittania and Angland Clan were both in post-war fatigue. At this time, everyone needed recovery, so Laine first tried to ask Belgar whether they needed food support, and Belgar, facing Laine’s inquiry, hesitatedly responded: ”The dwarfs encountered some difficulties, and of course we can solve them ourselves, but if human brothers are willing to lend a hand, the dwarfs will remember it.”

In other words, they lacked resources, so Laine seeing this situation sent more food to help Belgar.

Next was the matter of Laine taking Alaros to meet the Lake Fairy, something mentioned earlier. Regarding whether to meet his rumored lover Alaros, the Lake Fairy was non-committal, while Laine was indifferent.

Tygris insisted, as the High Elf Supreme Grandmaster believed Alaros and his wood elf army remained a vital force.

After some discussion, since Tygris persisted in having the Lake Fairy and Alaros meet, Laine took Alaros to the Lake Fairy Tower, letting them meet.

What happened next left Laine and Tygris stunned and speechless.

Alaros recognized Lilith, whom he had saved in the Aisloron Forest as the Elf Goddess, and was overjoyed, tears streaming down his face; by the time Tygris and Laine came to their senses, they found Alaros singing.

Laine listened for a while, and the lyrics roughly meant this.

”You are the passionate wind of May, blowing through the flower in my heart~”

”You are the fierce sun, breaking my fragile heart~”

”You are the eternal long summer, guarding my bright fragrance~”

”Your favor erases the ridicule of the world, your love removes the mark of shame on me, what matters in the world to me? You are my universe, a ray of morning light in my life, please listen to my singing, your figure is deeply rooted in my heart, without you, what calamity shall I face?”

”In the whole world, except for you, I have no other attachment.”

Alaros’ lyrics contained many allusions and obscure ancient elf language, and Laine could only ascertain the general meaning.

The Lake Fairy seemed quite pleased, deliberately glanced at Laine, with playful green eyes.

My admirers are indeed numerous, see, my champion, here is one of my admirers!

Alaros spent a considerable amount of time expressing his longing for the Goddess Lilith, then seeing him intending to embrace his beloved goddess and run away, Laine and Tygris promptly stopped him, Alaros’ aggressive movements even startled the Lake Fairy, who hurriedly prevented him from approaching, observing Alaros’ demeanor, if the Lake Fairy were truly taken back to the forest the first act might indeed be some private affair.

The three Divine Chosen then sat down to discuss matters, they discussed with the Lake Fairy about the arrival of the Moment of Destruction, Tygris prepared to head to the Empire to contact Emperor Karl Franz, advising him to be ready, while Laine’s opinion was that we need to unite the powers of the dwarfs and strive to weaken the Northern Barbarians.

The weaker the Northern Barbarians’ power, the fewer Chaos Army will come south during the Moment of Destruction, Laine believed that only through this means could we weaken the God of Chaos and Aizhen’s grasp on the future.

Laine and Tygris carefully discussed and set a general plan.

As for Alaros... from start to finish, he did not understand what Laine and Tygris were talking about, his eyes were only for his goddess, loudly proclaiming that whatever Lilith instructed, he would obey.

And the Lake Fairy revealed a truth, that in order to oppose Chaos, the ”Crown of Lilith” must be reforged, this powerful Divine Artifact could grant the Lake Fairy power nearing that of the Elf Main God.
