Chapter 2624: Chapter 2625: Return to Tianyun (191)

An Yiqing huffed, ”The one who got hurt was me, not you all, so of course I’m the only one who remembers.”

Just thinking about how his younger sister only cared about her husband and didn’t care about him, her brother, made him sad.

Gong Le knew that An Yiqing was truly hurt, so she said no more and started to walk out.

When Su Xing ran to the door of An Yiqing’s room, Gong Le happened to be walking out. Upon seeing Gong Le, Su Xing grabbed her and asked, ”Sister-in-law, where’s my third brother? Is he here?”

During her recovery, this third sister-in-law visited her several times, and she was like a kid, getting along well with her.

Gong Le lowered her voice and smiled, winking toward the inside, ”Yes, he’s inside, but he’s still pretending. You didn’t see it, when he heard you were here, he was over the moon. But he’s still holding onto grudges about you only caring about your husband and not considering his feelings last time. Just apologize a bit, and everything will be fine. I guarantee he won’t put on airs anymore.”

”Uh-huh.” Su Xing nodded with a smile and whispered back, then walked into the room through the path Gong Le, her sister-in-law, had opened up.

An Yiqing was lying sideway on the bed, looking at an account book. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Su Xing coming in with a big smile, and he pretended not to see her.

Su Xing noticed An Yiqing’s act, and first let out a small laugh, then went over and said, ”Third brother~”

”Hmph!” An Yiqing turned even more to his side, with his back to Su Xing, ignoring her.

”Third brother, I was wrong.” Su Xing tugged at his sleeve, shaking it, putting on a pleading face as she apologized. ”I was really wrong, third brother, don’t be mad. I promise it won’t happen again, I won’t hurt you anymore. You are my brother, how could you not be in my heart at all? It’s just that at the time I wanted to abort the child, I was feeling terrible, and it was a habit to protect my husband. Even though you were doing it for my good, your tone was a bit harsh, and I got anxious. I really didn’t mean it, third brother, please don’t be mad, don’t blame me anymore, okay?”

”Hmph.” An Yiqing snorted again, but this time it was much lighter than before.

Su Xing chuckled internally again and continued to shake An Yiqing’s sleeve, ”If it weren’t for dad and mom making me rest properly and not allowing me into the palace, I would have come to apologize a long time ago. It wouldn’t have dragged on until now. Third brother~ This past half month, I’ve been thinking about you every day, wanting to come and apologize. Look, sister-in-law they all came to see me, but you only sent things to me without visiting. I felt really bad, third brother. For the sake of my suffering these days, would you forgive me?”

An Yiqing stopped snorting, but still had his back to her.

Su Xing climbed onto the bed, facing him with a smile, ”Third brother, if you really can’t calm down, then hit my palms, okay?”

As she spoke, she extended her two small palms as if really wanting him to hit them.

”Pfft.” An Yiqing finally let go, laughing as he lightly tapped her head with the account book in his hand. ”How old are you, still wanting me to hit your palms?”

”I just don’t want third brother to be angry.” Su Xing continued to accompany her smiling face while rubbing her head, which didn’t hurt at all.

An Yiqing sighed and said, ”I’m not angry, just hurt.”

Su Xing immediately agreed, ”Yes, yes, you’re not angry, just hurt. It’s all Xin’er’s fault, Xin’er made you upset, I promise it won’t happen again in the future. It’s not like you aren’t in Xin’er’s heart at all.”

An Yiqing said, ”But your husband holds a higher place in your heart.”

Su Xing laughed, ”If you’re comparing yourself to my husband, then I have nothing to say.”
