Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2608: Chapter 2609: Return to Tianyun (175)

”Mm.” Taoming Ye nodded with a smile. ”You’re pregnant now, don’t rush around doing things anymore. Right now, nothing is more important than your health and the baby.”

”Your health is also very important! You haven’t fully recovered yet!” Su Xing complained.

Taoming Ye quickly changed his tone, ”You, me, and the baby are all important, okay?”

”Mm, mm~” Su Xing was finally satisfied and nodded happily. Really very happy.

Su Xing and Taoming Ye were particularly happy here because of the pregnancy, but on the other side, Mrs. Cao, upon hearing of Su Xing’s pregnancy, was filled with jealousy to the point of almost breaking her teeth.

Looking at Taoming Hai’s altar, Mrs. Cao said inwardly, word by word, ”Haier, Mother will definitely send them down to keep you company, don’t walk too fast.”

...

When Doctor Jiang returned to the Royal Palace, he immediately went to report the good news to An Jing and Su Changyi, saying that Su Xing, the Princess, was two months pregnant.

Upon hearing that Su Xing was pregnant, An Jing and Su Changyi were very pleased.

After Doctor Jiang left, An Jing turned to Su Changyi and said, ”Husband, let’s go visit Xin’er, we haven’t seen her for quite a few days, I really miss her, and now she’s pregnant, I can’t sit still, I’m going to be a grandmother again!”

Su Changyi chuckled, ”Fortunately, you’re still in good health, otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to handle all this running around.”

An Jing immediately hugged him, ”What, are you saying I’m old?”

Su Changyi hugged her back, lowered his head, and kissed her, ”I’d never complain about you, my point is I’m happy that you’re healthy.”

An Jing immediately smiled broadly, ”I’m happy that you’re healthy too. Star says that living to a hundred years old shouldn’t be a problem for us.”

”Only a hundred years old?”

”What, do you want to live to be an old monster?”

”Not really, I just want to live as long as possible with you.” They’re so happy, who would want to die?

”Me too~”

Su Changyi kissed her again, then held her hand, interlocking fingers tightly, ”Let’s go see Xin’er.”

”Mm, mm~”

Just as Su Changyi and An Jing were stepping out of the main hall, they ran into Su Yixing who had come to find them.

Su Yixing saw them and smiled, asking, ”Dad, Mom, where are you going? Qingyi made some red date pastries, I just finished making some medicine and brought some over for you, would you like to have some before heading out?”

As he spoke, Su Yixing offered the tray of red date pastries to An Jing and Su Changyi.

An Jing and Su Changyi each took one.

As An Jing took one, she smiled broadly and said, ”Doctor Jiang just came by and said Xin’er is pregnant, already two months along. Your dad and I are planning to visit the Tao Mansion and see her.”

The smile on Su Yixing’s face instantly disappeared, his expression became particularly serious.

An Jing and Su Changyi noticed something was amiss and they couldn’t keep smiling. They exchanged puzzled looks before An Jing asked, ”Star, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy your little sister is pregnant?”

Su Yixing said, ”If this child can be kept, I would naturally be happy that my little sister is pregnant.”

An Jing and Su Changyi were both shocked upon hearing this.

An Jing immediately returned the pastry to the tray in Su Yixing’s hand and urgently asked, ”What do you mean by that? What child can’t be kept? Is the child in Xin’er’s belly not viable?”

Su Yixing didn’t say anything immediately, but instead suggested, ”Dad, Mom, let’s go inside and talk.”
