Chapter 2619: Chapter 2620: Return to Tianyun (186)

”Third brother...” Xin’er continued to wail, ”Xin’er didn’t mean to treat third brother like that, Xin’er was just relying on third brother’s fondness that he wouldn’t hold it against Xin’er, not wanting to hurt third brother’s heart, father...”

”Father, do you know how happy Xin’er was finding out she is pregnant? But you and mother and second brother suddenly told Xin’er, this child can’t be kept, this is a pain worse than killing Xin’er for Xin’er... father... this is too sudden, too sudden... Xin’er truly can’t accept it... can’t accept it...”

”But father, Xin’er will abort the child, rest assured, Xin’er will abort it, will abort it...”

Xin’er cried, collapsing into Su Changyi’s embrace.

Seeing his youngest daughter in such distress, Su Changyi’s cold eyes turned red.

Su Changyi closed his eyes again, after a long time, opened them, gently patting Xin’er’s back and said, ”Trust father, there will definitely be children in the future.”

”Mm...” Xin’er cried almost to the point of passing out but still responded, ”Mm... Xin’er... Xin’er trusts father... trusts father...”

The longer the child stays in Xin’er’s belly, the greater the risk each day.

Once Su Changyi heard Xin’er agree, he turned, and said to Taoming Ye, ”Make the medicine.”

What medicine to brew? Naturally, abortion medicine.

Xin’er immediately covered her mouth with both hands, afraid she would cry out loud, shout out not to abort her child.

Taoming Ye saw Xin’er’s agony and had already shed tears too. Seeing Su Changyi ask him to make the medicine, despite feeling distressed, he quickly wiped his tears and instructed Ru Song, ”Go brew the medicine.”

Ru Song, also an emotional person, had cried along, immediately went with Hong Ye upon Taoming Ye’s instruction.

An Jing and Su Yi Jing still couldn’t bear to see what Xin’er was like right now, just hearing Xin’er’s painful cries was enough to wrench their hearts; seeing Xin’er’s suffering, frankly, they could hardly take it.

Su Changyi wrapped his arms around the sobbing and weakened Xin’er, escorting her back to her room.

Xin’er sat on the bed, both hands tightly covering her mouth, never daring to let go. Yet tears silently streamed down her face. ℴℴ𝘮

Taoming Ye stood by the bed, seeing Xin’er’s condition, couldn’t help but shed tears again.

An Jing and Su Yi Jing looked away, not daring to check Xin’er’s current state.

Su Changyi did watch Xin’er, but his thin lips were tightly pressed together. How could he feel okay seeing his youngest daughter in such torment?

Until Ru Song came in carrying the brewed abortion medicine, no one spoke a single word.

Taoming Ye took the medicine from Ru Song, looking at the bowl’s dark concoction; his hands trembled uncontrollably.

It was his child too.

The child to be aborted was his as well.

Seeing Taoming Ye also struggling with emotions, Su Changyi got up, took the bowl from Taoming Ye, sat on a stool by the bed, and handed the bowl to Xin’er, saying, ”Drink it while it’s hot, that way it won’t be bitter.”

Not bitter?

How could it not be bitter? Even if the medicine isn’t bitter, Xin’er’s heart is bitter, so bitter it feels as if she might die from crying.

Looking at the medicine in Su Changyi’s hand for a while, Xin’er finally released her hands from her mouth, trembling as she took it, and once she held the bowl, her hands trembled even more.

One hand held the bowl while the other touched her still flat belly, murmuring between sobs: ”Child, don’t blame mother... don’t blame mother...”
