Chapter 2620: Chapter 2621: Return to Tianyun (187)

An Jing held back for a long time, but still couldn’t help it. When hearing Su Xing’s words, tears flowed down.

”I will definitely tear you to pieces!” Suddenly, Su Xing shouted ferociously, then abruptly brought the medicine bowl to her mouth. Despite her intense pain and tears, she forced herself to drink the medicine.

She gulped down the medicine in one go, and once it was all consumed, Su Xing cried out loud: ”Ah—ah—ah—”

Taoming Ye hurried to sit on the bed and hold Su Xing, who wept endlessly in his arms, even as the medicine began to take effect. Her stomach hurt terribly, yet she continued to cry, crying in anguish until finally fainting.

Upon seeing Su Xing faint, Su Changyi quickly said, ”Star, come over and check on your sister!”

Su Yixing rushed forward to take Su Xing’s pulse and checked her eyelids, finally breathing a sigh of relief, ”It’s nothing serious, just excessive sadness causing her to faint. She’ll be fine once she wakes up.”

Su Changyi and the others stayed for two hours, seeing Su Xing still hadn’t awakened, decided to return to the palace.

Before leaving, An Jing sighed and told Taoming Ye, ”Don’t talk about what’s cruel or not. There’s nothing to be done about it. When Xin’er wakes up, spend some time talking with her. We’ll come back to see her tomorrow.”

Su Yixing couldn’t help but advise, ”This miscarriage is somewhat harmful to the body. When Xin’er awakens, let her rest in bed for eight to ten days to ensure her well-being. I’ve prescribed some medicine to help her recovery. You have the prescription, make sure to boil it for her. It’s beneficial for her physical recovery.”

Su Yi Jing also spoke up, ”Don’t completely cater to her whims now. The child is gone, and you should guide her. Both we and you are doing this for her wellbeing. She’s not foolish, she’ll understand.”

Taoming Ye agreed to everything, nodding his head.

...

Su Xing awoke in the middle of the night, her stomach aching terribly. Just as she was about to cry out, she noticed her beloved husband sitting beside her, looking at her with concern.

She immediately stopped herself and asked him, ”Why aren’t you asleep? It’s so late.”

”I couldn’t sleep because you hadn’t awakened.” Taoming Ye then pulled the blanket over both of them to prevent her from catching a cold.

She was also feeling extremely weak now.

After adjusting the blanket, Taoming Ye held one of her hands tightly beneath it.

Su Xing asked again, ”Did you apply medicine on your back?”

Instead of talking about herself, she showed concern for him, which moved Taoming Ye deeply and pained him. ”Ru Song already applied it for me, don’t worry, I’ll take good care of myself.”

”Alright.” After a moment, she said somewhat unhappily, ”I used to be the one to apply the medicine for you, I don’t want Ru Song to do it.”

”Once your health is better, you can do it again.”

”Okay.”

”Are you hungry?”

Su Xing shook her head.

”Is there anywhere you’re uncomfortable? If you are, speak up. Second Brother instructed that we should call him if needed, we can’t let this turn into a chronic issue for you.”

Su Xing then replied, ”Just my stomach hurts a bit, nowhere else is uncomfortable.”

Taoming Ye bent down and kissed her, feeling heartbroken, ”Second Brother said stomach pain is normal, it will hurt for several days.”

Su Xing couldn’t hold back the tears in her eyes and choked up, ”Husband, the child... the child is gone.”
