Chapter 2613: Chapter 2614: Return to Tianyun (180)

Taoming Ye took the prescription and said with distress, ”I know, thank you, Second Brother.”

”There’s nothing to thank for, I couldn’t even help you keep the child.” Su Yixing truly felt the pain in his heart.

Taoming Ye said, ”Second Brother, you’ve already tried your best.”

An Jing and the others staying at the Tao Mansion wasn’t helping Su Xing with deciding whether to keep the child or not, so they returned to the Royal Palace, while Taoming Ye couldn’t sit still in the house and stood at the courtyard gate, anxiously waiting for his wife to return.

He really couldn’t help but worry.

He didn’t know where his wife had gone or when she would come back.

Since Taoming Ye had been taking the antidote for exactly a month, his body was better, but because the wound on his back hadn’t healed, he was still physically weak.

He stood at the door for an hour, feeling unable to endure, but he insisted on standing there, waiting for his beloved wife.

His beloved wife wouldn’t ignore him; she would definitely come back.

”Prince Consort, you should go inside,” Ru Song advised, seeing that Taoming Ye was clearly struggling but still holding on.

Taoming Ye said nothing, only shook his head slightly, indicating he wouldn’t go inside. His beloved wife hadn’t come back yet; he really didn’t want to go in.

Ru Song had no choice but to bring a chair, letting Taoming Ye sit at the door to wait.

At the same time, he placed a mink cloak over Taoming Ye, shielding him from the cold.

Today was November second, the weather was a bit cold, and the wind was strong. Taoming Ye sat at the courtyard gate, his face growing paler, and he seemed more and more unsteady.

Su Xing hadn’t left the Tao Mansion at all; she had gone behind a rockery in the mansion to cry by herself. When she was cried out, she came out from behind the rockery but didn’t return to her residence, instead hiding under a tree, watching her courtyard.

She wanted to go back, but she also didn’t want to go back. She wanted to be with her husband, but she feared her husband would make her abort the child.

Her husband was standing at the courtyard gate waiting for her, she saw him, but she didn’t show herself. However, seeing her husband still not going back, sitting in a chair and teetering, she couldn’t take it anymore.

She appeared.

She stepped out from behind the tree and shouted at Taoming Ye, ”Husband, go inside! I’m fine... I’m fine...” As she spoke, she couldn’t control herself, and the tears began to fall uncontrollably.

It seems, her tears hadn’t run dry.

As soon as Taoming Ye heard Su Xing’s voice, his spirit was lifted. Supporting himself on the chair, he stood up, only to see Su Xing standing under the tree shouting and crying at him. His heart ached, and he wanted to go towards Su Xing.

”Xin’er.”

But he only managed to take one step towards Su Xing before she emotionally backed up two steps, yelling at him, ”Don’t come near! Don’t come near! You will make me abort the child! You definitely will make me abort the child! Don’t come near!”

As she shouted, tears streamed down her face, and she bent over, hugged her knees, squatted down, curling herself into a small ball.

She was already petite, turning into a small, heart-wrenching ball.

Taoming Ye’s heart was in agonizing pain, and he dared not to approach. Red-eyed and choking with sobs, he said, ”Xin’er, I won’t make you abort the child anymore, can I come over? Can I?”

”No... no...” Su Xing hugged her knees, buried her face, shaking her head and crying, ”You will definitely make me abort it... you will definitely make me abort it... I don’t want to abort my child... no... I don’t want...”
