Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2614: Chapter 2615: Return to Tianyun (181)

”I really won’t let you abort the child, really!” Taoming Ye was deeply distressed but still intensified his tone to assure.

But his body couldn’t hold up anymore, and he just collapsed.

”Prince Consort!” Ru Song and the others were startled and quickly supported Taoming Ye.

Su Xing heard everyone’s cries of alarm, looked up, and saw her beloved husband collapse. She was also frightened, quickly got up, and ran toward Taoming Ye.

”Husband! Husband!” Su Xing was panic-stricken, and as soon as she reached Taoming Ye, she asked in a panic, ”Husband, are you okay, husband?”

Taoming Ye was very weak, but still grasped Su Xing’s hand while smiling extremely weakly, ”Thank heavens you came over; you wouldn’t leave me ...”

Su Xing broke down in tears, ”Husband ...”

Neither of them could speak anymore, but Taoming Ye really couldn’t continue standing in this windy place, so Ru Song quickly helped him inside. Since Taoming Ye was still holding Su Xing’s hand, albeit no strength in the grip, Su Xing didn’t dare shake it off, fearing something would happen to her beloved husband. She had no choice but to go back to their room with her husband.

Due to the injury on Taoming Ye’s back, he still couldn’t lie down on the bed. Once helped to the bed, he could only lie on his stomach, but that hand, despite being weak, still grasped Su Xing’s hand and refused to let go.

Clearly afraid that Su Xing would run away again.

It was very warm inside, Taoming Ye’s complexion was slowly recovering, and after resting for a while, he regained some strength. He raised his hand to help wipe away Su Xing’s tears, who was still crying.

Su Xing now sat beside the bed, unable to speak, only knowing to cry—for Taoming Ye’s weak appearance and for the child in her belly.

”Xin’er, I really won’t let you abort the child, believe me.” Though feeling unspeakably distressed inside, Taoming Ye still maintained his usual tenderness on the face, accompanied by a smile that made people comfortable.

Su Xing shook her head fiercely, ”I can believe you in anything, but I won’t believe you in this matter.”

The last time he nearly died protecting her, and this time, to ensure she remains safe, he would definitely abort her child. Definitely, he would. Certainly, he would.

”I truly won’t let you abort the child...” he sighed softly, feeling very helpless. After a while, he added very calmly, ”If you really have an incident, I’ll accompany you together, saving me from being lonely in this world.”

Upon hearing this, Su Xing cried almost losing her breath. She knew... She just knew...

”Please don’t cry, okay? Don’t cry...” Seeing her like this, Taoming Ye’s heart ached. Coupled with his physical discomfort, his body finally lost control, causing him to cough violently. ”Cough cough...”

Coughing until his face turned red, looking as if he was going to cough to death.

Su Xing was so startled that she quickly wiped away her tears and held Taoming Ye’s hand tightly, ”Husband, I won’t cry, don’t get excited, don’t get excited. I’m really not crying anymore, see, I haven’t cried again, really haven’t cried.”

Taoming Ye finally stopped coughing and felt somewhat comfortable.

”It’s good if you don’t cry, it’s good...” He gently caressed her face while smiling tenderly.

”Husband, I...”

Su Xing’s words choked again, but before she could finish, Taoming Ye interrupted her, ”Don’t say anything, your eyes are swollen from crying, have you been crying all this time? Well, now it’s getting dark, let’s have someone send dinner in, we’ll eat.”

Saying this, without waiting for Su Xing to speak, Taoming Ye asked Ru Song and Hong Ye to send dinner in.
