Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2621: Chapter 2622: Return to Tianyun (188)

”It’s okay. As long as you’re fine, nothing is more important than you.”

”But I feel so cruel, I actually aborted my own child... I’m so sorry to the child...”

”Mother-in-law also said there was no choice. Even if you didn’t abort it, the child couldn’t survive.”

”But aborting and killing it myself is different from it not surviving.”

”There was no other choice, if you didn’t abort it, you might have been in danger.”

Su Xing was silent for a long time before she said again, ”Actually, when you said if something happened to me, you’d accompany me, I decided to abort it, but I just couldn’t muster the courage. I felt so cruel, I never thought there would come a day when I’d abort my own child. Although I’m sorry to the child, you, dad and mom, my brothers, and everyone who cares about me, no longer have to worry about me.”

Especially mom and dad.

They had already sent a black-haired person off once, I couldn’t let them send me off again.

Su Xing kept the last two sentences in her heart.

Taoming Ye then said, ”Don’t talk anymore, your throat is hoarse.” She cried so much during the day that she cried her voice hoarse.

”But I want to talk.”

”Then go ahead and talk.” He also felt sorry for her, but since she wanted to talk, he let her talk.

”Mm.” Su Xing first softly acknowledged, then said, ”When I recover, I will enter the palace and apologize to Third Brother. I shouldn’t have treated him like that. My attitude was wrong, even if I was angry with him for talking about you, I should have spoken to him nicely. He is my brother, he considers me, but I didn’t consider his feelings at all.”

”Yeah,” Taoming Ye nodded, ”Third Brother must have been quite hurt when he left, he even said things like burning more paper for you on your death anniversary, such taboo words, so you must have really hurt him.”

”Dad said I was ungrateful, and now that I think about it, I was really just relying on the fact that he loves me as his sister and won’t hold it against me, so I was so reckless. I must apologize to him properly.”

”Third Brother is very generous, as long as you apologize, he should let it go.”

”Alas.” Su Xing suddenly sighed, ”I really need to change my temper, sometimes I don’t consider other people’s feelings.”

”You do it all for me.” Taoming Ye blamed himself. ”You’ve always been sensitive about my matters.”

Ever since she married him, she’s been protecting, caring, and cherishing him in her own way. When An Yiqing spoke ill of him, her first instinct was to protect him.

”It’s also because my health is poor,” Taoming Ye felt even more guilty, ”being protected by you all the time, no matter what happens, your first reaction is always to protect me.”

”Husband, why are you blaming yourself,” Su Xing held his hand, ”I’m used to protecting you, but it’s not your fault that your health is poor, don’t do this, okay?”

”Mm.” Taoming Ye didn’t want Su Xing to feel bad because of him, so he nodded.

Su Xing then continued, ”As for me being used to protecting you, I feel like I don’t need to change that. You are my husband, and I’m so skilled. Wanting to protect you is normal. But, when your health gets better in the future, you won’t need me to protect you as much. To think about it, it’s a bit reluctant in my heart, but I still want you to be healthy, it’s better if you’re healthy, that way I don’t have to worry about your health every day.”

”Once I’m healthy, I’ll protect you.” Taoming Ye said very seriously.
