Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2604: Chapter 2605: Return to Tianyun (171)

An Jing and Su Changyi recognized Taoming Ye’s voice and knew he had woken up, which made them very happy.

”No need for formalities, no need for formalities, just waking up is good.” An Jing said with delight. ”Your father-in-law is right next to me, we won’t disturb you both. Let Xin’er sleep well, she’s rarely had a good sleep since the incident happened to you. We were originally worried something might be wrong with her, but since everything’s fine, let’s let her sleep well, my wife and I will leave you undisturbed.”

”Mom and Dad, I’ll sleep a bit more, when I’ve slept enough, then let you in to see Míngyè.” Su Xing said, still not having slept enough, with drowsiness in her voice.

”Okay!” An Jing replied happily and no longer stood at Su Xing’s room door, instead, she had a chat with Su Changyi in the courtyard.

Until Su Yixing and the others arrived, An Jing shared the news with them that Taoming Ye had woken up.

An Yiqing laughed: ”Perhaps my father-in-law’s words are really blessed. He said yesterday that he’d wake up at night, and he really did.”

An Jing smiled: ”Then quickly return to the royal palace, let your father-in-law know as well, and put their minds at ease.”

”Hmm.” So, An Yiqing returned to the royal palace.

Su Xing slept for another two hours before being fully rested, and upon opening her eyes, she saw her husband lying there gently watching her. She immediately stretched happily and kissed her dear husband before getting up.

After washing herself up, she helped her dear husband freshen up.

While Su Xing was wiping Taoming Ye’s face with a damp towel, she asked, ”Husband, are you hungry?”

”I’m a bit hungry now.” Taoming Ye replied honestly.

”Why didn’t you ask Hong Ye and the others to bring food in for you to eat then?”

”You were sleeping, right? Just watching you sleep was fulfilling enough. It’s only now that you’re awake, that I feel the hunger.”

Su Xing chuckled and then happily sighed, ”Even if I don’t eat now, I feel full, sweetly full~”

After Su Xing finished helping Taoming Ye freshen up, she opened the door to let Hong Ye and Ru Song bring in the food. Though it’s a bit late for breakfast now, her and her husband couldn’t stay hungry.

Seeing An Jing and the others in the courtyard, Su Xing quickly stepped out, and said joyfully: ”Dad, Mom, big brother, second brother, fourth brother, fifth brother, sixth brother, seventh brother, my husband has woken up!”

An Yiqi immediately teased: ”We already knew, and you still mentioned it! Did you sleep so much that you’re muddled, or are you happily muddled? Your husband already spoke through the door with Mom and Dad this morning.”

An Jing held Su Xing’s hand, full of smiles: ”No matter what, it’s good that he’s awake. You can be at ease now, watching you cry all the time was hard for me as a mother. Now it’s all good. By the way, your third brother originally came as well, but I sent him back to the palace. This good news should be shared with your sisters-in-law, Uncle Gong, and Aunt Ye to relieve their worries.”

Su Xing didn’t mind the teasing from her brother, nodding happily: ”Mmm mmm.”

Su Yixing laughed: ”Can we go in to see your cherished husband now? I’ve been here for quite a while, and if you don’t let me see his wound, I’m going back today, as I have things to attend to.”

As for what the issue was, Su Xing certainly knew, it was about making the antidote for her husband.

Su Xing immediately said: ”Then you can all go in now, although my husband and I haven’t eaten breakfast yet, it’s alright, we can eat in front of you.”
