COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Student Council

The frail lazy bum President Sakayanagi Arisu was finally able to got her day off today.

There was nothing that could be done about it.

’During lunch break, Hikigaya-kun, as an officer of Student council, punished the first-year students. But I was the one who actually had authority to sign deductions, so I was very rudely brought in to work overtime......!’

However, the only documents she signed were 1-week suspension document for Hosen and the deduction of 100 points from class evaluation score.

“The students of Class A, first grade, went to attend exchange meeting of Ichinose’s,” Kamuro-san comes over to report.

In the morning, Sakayanagi decided on direction of this exam.

Win over Class A of first grade and provide support to younger students.

Then assist in selecting class representatives. This will make it easier to cooperate in future.

There is even a chance that Class A of Grade One will develop into a subsidiary of Class A of Grade Two.

This time, exam will still be conducted by Acting Chairman Tsukishiro as chief examiner, who broke with past practice and for the first time ever started the joint examination for two grades in the first month.

So, before her father came back, Sakayanagi thought that as long as Tsukishiro continued to be Acting Chairman, this kind of cross-grade exam would continue to be arranged.

So, it is useful to keep a spare class.

The effect of Contact now is not good, it should be said that it was not effective at the beginning.

Even during lunch break, one-third of the freshmen in Class A of first year had been persuaded by them, but after class evaluation scores were announced, freshmen could no longer control their emotions.

“Keep in touch. I don’t think it should be a big problem. Let Hashimoto-kun take people to exchange meeting to recruit people. Also, didn’t you report during lunch break that Class A of Grade 1 has already expressed its intention to nominate a representative? Then let them come out as soon as possible. After leader is decided, I will meet with that person.”

She didn’t think it was a big problem.

’After all Ichinose-san is different from Hikigaya-kun. A mere exchange meeting with her cannot completely shake people....Because, the most dangerous thing would be if Hikigaya-kun were to host it. The 1st-year freshmen would look easy to fool, and he would definitely deceive people on the spot and then apply to form a team directly. By then, will be no chance of recovery.....’

Don’t doubt it, Sakayanagi feels that if Hikigaya-kun really does that for the class, then he can do this.

’But he probably won’t go to this exchange meeting. So, since Ichinose-san is the host now, there is no need to worry.....’ Sakayanagi took out her cell phone and checked the GPS.

As long as you add a friend, you can check the other person’s location at any time.

’See, Hikigaya-kun is not in the gymnasium right now.....’

The exchange meeting held by Ichinose not only welcomes first-year students, but also second-years.

After all, they all have to be matched one by one in end.

However, as the host, Ichinose-san has already received a preconceived performance score. So, big head should be from their class.

Then, remaining soup or water can be divided among other classes.

“Ichinose really did unnecessary things.....” Ryuen also brought people to the exchange meeting.

The reason was that originally their entire class had taken action, going through first-year students who might know each other or have evidence against them, and then selected a list of freshmen with academic ability of B- or above.

Then, planned to capture these people and start threatening them in afternoon.

However, because of announcement of class evaluation scores at noon, freshmen were suddenly shaken, and then ones on Ryuen’s list also came to participate in Ichinose’s exchange meeting.

So he had to come.

Then, he saw that some people on list had begun to waver in their support for Ichinose’s plan.

“So what should our class do next, Ryuen-san.....?” Ishizaki was feeling hopeless.

“Let me think, Ichinose is still a saint. They used method of 1 top student to 1 poor student, so her class can only take about 20 top students at most. So there will still be a lot of vacancies for top students. But it’s not good to just sit there and wait for death....Name your price, First, we’ll trick them into paying 200,000 per person. Arrange people to take action and invite those on list to outside of exchange meeting for detailed discussions.....“

“We tricked them into coming...but if they really come, do we really have to pay?” Ishizaki felt a little pressured.

“You’re an idiot. Of course I tricked them first, and then didn’t I ask you to collect their black spots and history? As long as they come, won’t be paid.”

’In other words, bring the person over and then set up a honey trap.’ Ishizaki Daichi understood immediately.

And now Ichinose and others are doing this, if they don’t take action, target will really be poached.

Ryuen felt like Ichinose’s class is pretty shameless, he had 250 points.

Although they have a living expense of more than 20,000 yen per month, compared with other classes, ordinary students will definitely look down on his class.

People will feel that Ryuen’s class is defective and failed product after the struggle.

So Ichinose created the situation that a year had passed and they had entered second grade, but evaluation scores of her class were still very good and the income looked great.

So, it’s definitely right to trust them.

This made it difficult for Ishizaki to imagine this was a group of sheep class from last year, where all classes were fighting against each other and thought hers was the easiest to deal with.

“The students of Class A of first grade are leaving.....” There was a commotion among the students.

It seemed that students from Class A of second grade finally came in and took her level of 1st away.

Ishizaki did not wait any longer and began to notify his classmates to prepare for the honey trap directly towards Ryuen’s targets.

Among 2nd-year students, Class B also arranged representatives to participate. Or maybe this is a good time for them to attend.

If Ichinose has a natural ability to communicate and immediately took control of most of the initiative, Class B also has a little social expert.

“Everyone, we are the seniors from Class B, Year 2. If you feel uncomfortable with the school’s rules, you can consult us. We will definitely tell you everything I know!”

“Also, everyone must be feeling uneasy about class evaluation scores announced during lunch break. In fact, we were like this before. We suddenly found out there would be a behavioral test in first month...“

Bla...bla..bla

The recognized little angel of Class B in second year, Kikyo Kushida, is seamlessly closing the gap with 1st-year freshmen.

On one hand, it was for the sake of her own Kushida Empire, to bring some [friends] in.

But for second hand, it is also for the class service. She tricks some new top students to come and team up with poor students in the class.

Hikigaya-kun asked her and Suzune to come together to recruit some people to class, and he said they also had to learn to take on responsibility.

’Hey! Doesn’t this sound like he won’t be in this class anymore?’

Although Hikigaya-kun has a large amount of personal points, Kushida doesn’t think that he would be willing to spend his own money to go to another class. ’With an extra 20 million, I estimate that he would find another suitable partner and sign a contract with the other party, thus increasing my competitors.....Hateful. But, now is not the time to think about this....As little angel of my class, there are so many poor students, so I has to take action for them....’

So this time, representatives of the second-year Class B are her, Suzune, Hirata, and Yukimura.

Then are members of Yukimura’s cram school group and the hot girl group from Karuizawa.

In other words, there are those who are academically good but also who are not so academically capable.

They hope to meet some new top students in exchange meeting, and then form a pair directly on the spot.

It’s a pity this is considered a smart one, while some people without brains are like “Kushida-chan, please, please, I don’t want to drop out of school!”

Then she was commissioned like this, which is obviously perverts own selfish business.

“Kushida-senpai, Horikita-senpai.” Just at this moment, a familiar face among 1st-year students suddenly spoke softly.

Kushida and Suzune looked over, but two of them didn’t say anything yet, while Yukimura pushed up his glasses, “You are the female subordinate who follows Hosen...”

“💢” Nanase’s eyes turned cold, when she was indirectly called a delinquent in front of others, she gave Yukimura a dark look, “Nanase Tsubasa. Our class has already received punishment for lunch break.”

“.....” Kushida-chan who couldn’t meet her eyes, awkwardly moved her gaze, she was the one who screamed violently after all.

As Nanase said this, first-year student behind her also followed. There are probably about 30 people.

“I saw the evaluation score of your class, and it’s only 166 points left now. That is to say, you can’t accept that if you fail exam, students in your class will not be able to get living expenses from school for 3 consecutive months.” Suzune’s insulting mouth also launched her bullets at these people, not even letting such a good chance to escape of ridiculing people.

“.....” Hirata-kun felt a bit troubled, he looked at another girl who came with, Kushida-chan who smiled bitterly.

“• ! ×” Nanase felt like she was being looked down upon, and felt incredible when this kind of tone was used towards her.

This really silenced the students in first-year class D, who knew that score was 1,000 points, so had advantage. For second graders, failing the exam means dropping out.

So it’s not good for second grade, but now their own score is only 166 points, and monthly living expenses of 16,000 yen are not enough.

Therefore, advantage that Nanase Tsubasa mentioned before is gone. If you can’t get points or scores in this exam, next month will be very painful.

“......We have lowered our prices,” Nanase also couldn’t believe it was happening with her, she experienced this annoying attitude first time in her young life. ’Horikita Suzune....Mhm...’

“If two classes cooperate, I have no objection,” Yukimura who didn’t come here to see people’s faces changing different kind of shades in every second.

In previous command tower exam, he felt that responsibility lay with him.

But he felt that he still had to be useful. So, also followed in this kind of occasion.

It’s a bit of a pity that Hikigaya didn’t come because he had something important to do.

“Then let’s talk about the price.” Hirata-kun wanted to make a deal, when momentum shifted in his direction, “But we don’t want to be obsessed with points, but use other methods. Our class used to be D, but now we have climbed to B, and even A for a month. I think this experience is also very important to you.”

It should be said that a year has passed, and Hirata has grown a lot.

“But we don’t have enough living expenses, and even if we take exam with seniors, we will probably be at the bottom. So, won’t be able to get points in this special exam. And this month’s behavioral test......” Nanase felt like she was running out of topics to make herself look good.

The class had 166 points left, and according to some test points mentioned by homeroom teacher in the afternoon, Nanase Tsubasa was hesitant whether her class could maintain 166 points by end of the month.

Therefore, if students in class cannot get good scores in this exam or obtain living expenses, will have nothing to eat next month.

The atmosphere in first-grade D class is completely different from that during lunch break.

’These freshmen became a lot more timid....And these are consequences of giving reign to a guy like Hosen.’ This is also Suzune’s intuitive feeling, and just used words that felt right to her, “What does your class think about Hosen now?”

“H-Horikita-san.....!” Hirata-kun couldn’t but try to stop her knowing she was going too far.

Even Kushida-chan obviously noticed the smug look on a certain black-haired girl’s face.

“It’s all because of that guy!” A student from Grade 1 Class D said in dissatisfaction.

“It’s because of that gorilla that our class lost so many points!”

“Yeah, so there’s no way I can obey him anymore!”

“We also know your difficulties,” Suzune said, looking at Hirata who was now looking at his phone.

He has already informed the students that Class 1-D is willing to cooperate.

At same time, was also notified that some points needed to be paid.

The price that students in class can offer is 80,000 points.

Of course, only poor students are willing to pay, while those with academic ability of B- or above or C+ are not very willing.

The division of academic ability here refers to five subject exams.

C can guarantee a minimum score of 250 points, which is very close to the 501 they can get as a team.

Moreover, even if they do not take the initiative to invite others, there will definitely be people willing to cooperate with them.

Therefore, students in Suzune’s class who are above C+ grade are unwilling to spend money.

There are 21 C- students in class.

21X8=1.68 million points.

“We can only offer 1.68 million personal points, but can’t get you more than that.”

“Too low....” Nanase shook her head, in fact her eyes twitched when ears registered this amount, “The bottom line we can accept is 3 million at least. This way everyone can survive for two months without living expenses.”

“Is there no other plan?” Kushida-chan didn’t want to spend a penny, already got a hidden message from Hikigaya-kun that her class can get other students because of the status of Class B, so there is no need to solely depend on Hosen’s.

“Other options...” Nanase was just about to say something else.

“You are all here indeed!”
