COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Call from Kushi-----’

”• ! •”

”Yo boss! I want to go to your room tonight, can I?”

When he received the call just now, Hikigaya-kun almost threw his phone away. ’Because Kushida is just being coquettish. I thought she wanted to vent her emotions, but she ended up coming to my room?! Did Shiina say something very inappropriate and unnecessary to her?! You snit----’

”Why, why do you say that suddenly?” Hikigaya-kun asked cautiously.

”That’s annoying...” Kushida’s voice was still cute, ”Because most of the vacation has passed in a flash. I’m really worried.....”

’Are you feeling uneasy? Are you worried about not having enough time? Or say....’ Hachiman reacted immediately.

’This is because once holidays are over, it will be a new semester and everyone become sophomores, and then...first graders will also come. Among them, of course, may be her junior and senior classmates who know her dark history...So Kushida is asking for help. That must be it!’

”If you need help, then ask nicely? Why are you acting like a spoiled brat? You scared me!”

Grass! Kushida-chan almost couldn’t keep up her composure in the room.

She was a little dissatisfied.

’Since it is Hikigaya-kun, a straight man, who is rejecting me, does this mean that he has been captured by Ichinose-san? That nymph is better than me in a lot of different ways....It also made me feel stressed. I didn’t want to lose directly to a succubus like her and then be threatened by my juniors or even be expelled from school....’

”Wait a minute!” Having said that, Kushida-chan hung up the phone first.

Then she looked at layout of the room and finally opened her closet.

’I have to dress cutely. Even if I signed Hikigaya-kun’s marriage registration form passively and without any choice at the beginning, form may not be authentic.....I might be eliminated before even Igraduate. If I am the only candidate, there is no need to worry. If anything happens, Hikigaya-kun will definitely protect me...But now there is one more Ichinose-san... Although, I still have the card of little bitch Horikita-san, I do not really trust her ability, or if she has any...So, I still need to rely on Hikigaya Hachiman. Especially since, in the last incident between the two of us, he had already said he might transfer to another class in his second year...Therefore, our status would be different by then, and my danger level would increase suddenly. And now, opponent is Ichinose-san, who is just too big for me to fight. That’s why I am now really a little unconvinced. It was that Hikigaya-kun was something I couldn’t take down....or afford to lose.’

Outside School, Hikigaya family.

”Ahhh-”

”What are you doing upstairs?”

Mrs. Hikigaya listened to noise, then went up stairs, and saw her daughter doing somersaults on the bed.

”Komachi is relaxing her mind, Mom, please don’t worry about me for now!”

”.....” Mrs. Hikigaya. ”Indeed, some time ago, your brother asked someone to bring a large sum of cash over. I never expected that he had this kind of talent....”

Although family dotes on their daughter, son thinks it is enough to just raise him normally.

However, this son turned out to be so outstanding.

No no no! Looking at her mother’s expression, Komachi knew what she was thinking.

What Komachi is concerned about now is not how much money her brother makes, but she originally felt that given Hachiman’s personality, he might have to rely on her for support in the future.

Then since her brother seized the opportunity and got a girl who was willing to marry him, she thought about making things real.

’So, I got a few marriage registration forms and sent them over....But, Onii-chan, what’s wrong with you? The person who came to visit was another girl’s brother! He said that you are already dating a girl named Horikita Suzune at school. You signed someone else. Oh god, You have the potential to be a playboy!’ Komachi suspected that she had led her brother down a path of no return.

Other side.

Chiba.

”Why do I have to go to Advanced Nurturing High School and start from the first grade?” Yukinoshita Yukino found this very unacceptable.

’I had already completed one year of high school, but my sister asked me to repeat the grade and go to a designated high school. I felt like I was being manipulated here!’

”I don’t think I need to go there. My academic ability is not low, I can rely on my own to get into the University I want. I don’t need conditions that school advertises for free exemption from examination and then get recommendation to get in using back do------”

”Yukino.”

But her sister kept smiling.

”That school invited me before, but I didn’t go, and now I’m returning the favor.... Besides, did you even gain anything from Sobu High School? And if you look down now, you will only suffer a great loss,” Haruno’s eyes turned cold, her little sister already felt like she couldn’t breathe while noticing that gaze on her, ”Or is it because I haven’t been to that school, so you don’t go either? You are still the same as before, always following behind and trying to imitate me.”

”• ! •” Yukino felt like she had been hit, exactly where it hurts the most.

”Yukino, stop being a fool!” At this time, an elegant woman in a blue kimono walked over.

When she saw her mother being invited out, Yukino knew that she couldn’t refuse.

”Advanced Nurturing High School?”

In a certain Junior High School, a cute girl with brown hair was in the principal’s office, who recommended a school to her.

She has a bad reputation. She stole her friend’s boyfriend and likes to attract boys’ attention.

So, became public enemy of the girls in class. Although boys will still talk to her, this will only make girls think she is more like a bitch.

However, only she knew that she was wronged, because being cute could easily win the favor of boys, which made her envied and she was accused of something.

So, she studied very hard.

She was determined to get into a high school with a high deviation value and leave this garbage circle.

But now, there is a school that is better than Sobu High School, which all students want to attend.

”Do you want to go? Our school will only recommend one student to apply for the exam. And it’s a full boarding system. So there is almost no chance for you to get out.” Principal was still kind and said a lot.

As for Isshiki Iroha.

“Thanks, I would like to go!”

’Going to Sobu High School can help me leave behind Reina and others who have poor grades. But if I go to Advanced Nurturing High School, they won’t be able to get in. It was a clean slate for me to start a new life!’

White Room.

“Number 1, and Number 2”

After receiving order, instructor immediately found 2 students from the 5th generation.

“You are lucky to be chosen. You will be sent to Advanced Nurturing High School, where you will experience student life. Of course, your mission is to expel Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, who disobeyed, and pretends to be an ordinary student.”

“But now let’s go out and receive the indoctrination of connecting with outside world.”

Because students in White Room are brought here at a very young age and receive extremely strict teaching.

From knowledge to skills.

Physical fighting power that is a natural human instinct.

But because students are all in classes and haven’t left, there is some gap in social communication, which needs to be supplemented.

For example, don’t even know where to put ticket for the train. Because all their energy is compressed into training.

White Room will not teach these unnecessary and unimportant stuff.

”Instructor!”

No. 1 looked at the man in white court, “My mission this time is to make Ayanokoji Kiyotaka drop out of school. So can I defeat him?”

“If you can.”

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is the only qualified student among 74 of the 4th Demonic Generation of White Room.

His excellence is still well-known even in current 5th generation.

For 5th generation, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is their ceiling.

No. 1 is ceiling of 5th, so it is not surprising there would be interest in ceiling of 4th called ’Demonic’

Because they have never met or fought each other. Only, this instructor was in charge of 4th phase of training.

“But I advise you not to have such ambitions. Completing the mission is what’s important.”

“I think your judgment is wrong, instructor. Ayanokoji has been away from White Room for a year. If he has been acting like an ordinary student for such time, his strength will definitely decline. I think I can defeat him!” No. 1 was full of confidence.

“…..” No. 2 does not have such ambition. It’s just that she is full of curiosity about the outside world.

She was a test-tube baby, and her parents were said to be gifted.

Many of children in White Room were untalented, so she was like a control group.

But she had never met her parents and had no hope of ever seeing them.

But she didn’t like white room with all plain white colour very much.

If she could go out and see the outside world, be very willing to do so.

A villa near Tokyo.

“You will be going to Advanced Nurturing High School this year. Your mother and I have the same opinion on this matter.”

A pair of parents said to their second daughter, “Although it’s just the recommendation of your junior high school principal, there’s no need for us to be enemies, especially since our family has also supported White Room in the past....”

“Um.” The girl nodded slightly, but her face was expressionless.

It’s not that she doesn’t like to laugh or express her emotions, but that she feels tired inside.

She is second daughter in family, which is also well off and her father is a wealthy man.

However, she has an older sister who has been mentally ill since girl was 7 years old.

’To be precise, my sister was sent to a facility called White Room when she was 2 years old. It is said that facility is dedicated to providing intensive gifted education to people from an early age....It may even create a genius. This is something many people are looking forward to. My family also had this expectation, so they put their two-year-old daughter in it....But, suddenly I was notified to pick up my....when she was 7 years old...She came back in a bad state, mentally confused, and kept falling into past memories and recollections...She is now 17 years old, but her memory and reaction are still at the age of 7. She is also confused from time to time, becomes panic, and even hopes that instructor will give her another chance, and she is going to do well now. So, what kind of intensive training was she receiving in that facility?...So, for me. White Room, what a rubbish place. It turns people into this. What made me feel even more sick was what happened a year ago.....’

’My parents finally met a boy who had trained with my sister. Ayanokoji Kiyotaka....’

“Goodbye”

“No! Don’t go, Kiyotaka!”

“You haven’t changed at all since you fell behind.”

”Ugh......!”

“You should be grateful for your parents’ kindness and concentrate on receiving treatment here. The more you expect me, the more you will regret it.”

“No! I, I want to talk to Kiyotaka! More, more, things that I didn’t say back then!” The elder sister’s tone and reaction were very childish.

Her mental level was no different from when she was 7 years old.

“Wait a moment! Please!”

“Please move aside.”

“Not only me. Even my wife and second daughter tried but she didn’t respond. She didn’t even listen! But she took the initiative to talk to you, what a great salvation...!”

“Goodbye forever. It’s better that you don’t meet me. That’s all, bye.”

”No! No! Kiyotaka! Noaaaaaah!!”

The crying of elder sister and unbearable scolding of the adults.

’Although, I don’t like this sister very much, she has been like this since she was 7 years old....It was ruined like this and I was in a very bad mood.’

’But, now I got the news....Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, who neglected my sister, was also in that school. I might not be of any use, but I would still be willing to do so if it could help give Ayanokoji Kiyotaka some trouble....’

Rented house.

’Looking at the photo of my childhood sweetheart, whose voice and appearance are still there but have turned into black and white....’

A blonde girl with a sad expression.

“That’s what happened. If you want to go to Advanced Nurturing High School, I can arrange it for you.”

Next to her stood a man in his forties wearing a white suit.

This is Tsukishiro, Acting Chairman.

“Mission I accepted is to get Kiyotaka Ayanokoji expelled from school. Your friend, Eiichiro is also related to Ayanokoji. His father let him go out of kindness, which led to the tragedy of this family....So now, are you willing to come to Advanced Nurturing High School? Give me a hand.”

“I will go! I can’t forgive Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Someone was implicated and even lost his life because of his affairs, but he can still enjoy his campus life quietly. I don’t accept it!”

“Okay” Tsukishiro smiled and nodded.

’With so many people in there, even if I can’t force Ayanokoji-kun to drop out, will be enough to delay process for a while....In this way, I am satisfied, that gentleman is satisfied, Ayanokoji-kun is satisfied, and then son-in-law ofSakayanagi family is also satisfied.’
