COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

You are freshmen, what are you doing here in sophomores? This is 2nd grade teaching building?”

Hachiman had encountered this statement before, when he had just entered school and investigate other grades with Kushida-san, but was stopped by Tachibana Akane.

Generally speaking, students from different grades will not easily go to other people’s home.

As for the freshmen, if they have just enrolled, they may be curious, but this morning, class teachers should have told them essence of this school.

So, curiosity should not be....

“Who is the representative of your class?” But, Hosen ignored him and just shouted at the top of his voice.

At this time, classmates began to look for people.

Hirata-kun.

Although he usually plays a big role, if we talk about class representative, it is not him.

Some students now started looking into the classroom.

“.....” Hirata-kun felt the difference.

At this time, Hachiman took off armband of vice-president of student council.

He was just thinking about how to contact Hosen, and this cute guy came to him on his own.

So, he patted his deskmate’s shoulder with his right hand.

“You go.”

“…” She went.

Suzune frowned, but suddenly thought, yes, ’Hikigaya-kun is leaving the class, so it seems there is no one who can take lead next except me...’

At this time, Horikita Suzune took the initiative to put down her textbook and walked out.

Although Suzune stood up, Hachiman was observing boy’s gaze.

He noticed that Hosen and Nanase’s eyes were also on classroom, but not in their direction, but at front rows.

There was a boy with a low presence and an expressionless face.

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka.

Now, Hosen seemed to smile.

’I see.....’

At this time, Suzune was looking at the 2 first-year students, “I think you came to second grade for this special exam. As a freshman, I admire your courage and choice.”

After saying said this, others understood.

According to Hosen and Nanase’s self-introduction, they are students in the first-year class D.

While students have to take a written examination. So what problems will we encounter?

There must be a lot of poor students.

Therefore, only place where they can accept and even cooperate with each other is class with the weakest middle school ability in second grade, which is 1st grade class B, who climbed up from D.

So, Hosen is here to seek cooperation. Even bots can understand his ambition a little bit, they can no longer sleep now.

“Ah? What do you mean by appreciating my courage?” But, Hosen just laughed exactly like a Gorilla who was named out by Ryuen, throwing his spit everywhere.

“Can you please stop laughing, and go learn how to talk first? So, disgusting....” Suzune’s cold mouth ran even faster than Hosen was able to contemplate her words, she couldn’t read the atmosphere properly.

“.....” Hachiman was speechless by this kind of rude honesty behaviour, even admired her a little.

“• _ •” People of Class B now seem to be grinning, as if they are used to being insulted, finally being happy watching it being spat on others for good mood’s sake.

“💢” Hosen didn’t like being looked down upon, and was very angry, “Are you kidding? You are——”

Behind him, Nanase Tsubasa picked up the tablet, and Suzune’s data appeared.

“...Horikita Suzune,” Hosen read her bio on the tablet in front of him, “You seem to have misunderstood something, because if our class hadn’t nominated you, you wouldn’t have been able to form a team! That’s why I’m lending a helping hand to you, the losers. Do you understand?! So don’t act so high and mighty. You are the ones who are going to beg me to do this! Do you understand?!”

Although he saw Suzune’s data panel, Hosen was still quite arrogant, “And if we want, I can still use various means....”

“So, what other tricks can you do?” Suzune recognized these two people had bad intentions.

But for some mad reason, her words now caused Hosen to go red in the face, and even more furious than before, “You know, we first-year students can have our scores lowered....haha!”

“Are you kidding me? You will be expelled if you deliberately slack off in the exam!” Sudo immediately stepped forward and said, “Are you kidding me, you bastard first-year student!”

Although he is very violent, he is not that arrogant and still has a sense of belonging to the class. ’As a result, first-year students now came directly to my house to fuck with me, which was simply unbearable.....!’

“Sudo Ken.” Junior schoolmate Nanase behind Hosen clicked on the data on tablet again.

It was Sudo’s Profile.

Academic ability E (26)

Athletic talent A+ (96)

Intelligence D+ (40)

Social Contribution E-(19)

Final evaluation E (46)

“Haha, you have good physical fitness, but... can’t even make a proper sentence without repeating things!” Hosen snorted like a pig directly at his face, “Indeed, you will be punished if you slack off in the exam. But, have you read the exam rules carefully? If you fail to find a partner within the time limit, system will randomly assign you to a member who has not yet formed a team. However, there will be a penalty of 5% deduction from total score of the exam. Don’t underestimate this 5%. With this penalty, probability of both partners getting a total score of 501 points has decreased. And the difficulty of your second-year test is 20% beyond the syllabus, right?”

“• ! •” Dark faces of random people behind Sudo, even made Hosen feel a whole lot boosted in his confidence, he cursed out loud, “So, you fuckers are the ones who should be embarrassed!”

“For us first-year students, if total score of the exam is less than 501 points, then we will only not receive living expenses issued by the school for three months as a penalty. But, I don’t think it poses a threat,” Nanase who came with Hosen also expressed her attitude.

In other words, these two people came to seek cooperation, but it was a strong battle.

At the same time, also has to occupy a major position.

They also came up with a plan where first-year students deliberately did not form a team and held back.

“Do you understand the situation? Sudo-senpai! Horikita-senpai hahah!”

“....” Suzune didn’t speak immediately, knowing she will have no problem in founding a pair from other classes, doesn’t have to solely rely on D.

“You’re going too far!” But, Sudo couldn’t help himself. Even Hosen was already standing in front of him to pick a fight.

Sudo is 186cm tall, but Hosen 190 still under evolution...“Want to fight?”

“You bastard!” Although Sudo was very annoyed, he also knew that he was already a sophomore and fighting at this time would not bring any benefits to the class, but only negative effects, “Can you even represen----”

“Of course, I am!”

“Hosen-kun, aren’t you here to negotiate? If you are here to use violence, then I will go back,” At this time, Nanase began to contradict. She seems to be quite against violence.

“Haaah!” Gorilla named Hosen seemed to be persuaded.

Judging from his appearance, Hosen is a person who likes to use violence, and he even uses it to subdue his class.

However, he is also very rational and knows how to think.

A Ryuen type of person.

Besides, they were in classroom now, and if they started a fight, would be caught. So he restrained himself.

’It can be said that he is worthy of being from the same place as Ryuen,’ Hachiman updated his evaluation of this junior with incomplete evolution.

’Now that he has come here, it would be a shame for him to leave like this.....’ Hikigaya-kun sent a message.

“8 million points!” Hosen continued to bark and grunt loudly at door of the classroom, “Your class is currently at a disadvantage, with many poor students, while there are 13 students in my class with academic ability above B. It means I can take away the 13 students at bottom of your class. And, I have got more than a dozen students with academic ability C.”

Suzune has already fully calculated this. The academic ability B here refers to 5 subjects in exam.

With academic ability A, you can get 400 points + total score

With academic ability B, you can get 350 points + total score

With academic ability C, you can get a total score of 250 to 300 points

With academic ability D, you can get a total score of 200~250 points

With academic ability E, you can get a total score of 150 to 200 points

Among the freshmen this year, there are 25 students with academic ability B or above in Class A, 21 in Class B, 17 in Class C, and 13 in Class D.

It is different from previous session of Hachiman, and it is still well-organized.

Although there are poor students in Class D where Hosen is, the number of top students and average and above-average students is better than that of Suzune’s class.

If two classes match, there is a good chance of passing exam.

“Eight million points means only 200,000 points for each of you,” It should be said that unfortunately Koenji’s vision came true.

Just as he said, first-year students knew exam rules and immediately came to sell their spots.

The students around were a little uneasy.

The girls were still in the classroom.

At this time, Karuizawa and Kushida subconsciously looked in one direction.

The boy still sat there.

“Yo!” However, at this moment, there was a sudden commotion at door.

”Hosen? Isn’t that just a rubbish name?” Ryuen Kakeru appeared in the corridor.

Now everyone is a sophomore, and almost all students in Class D have come into contact with Ryuen, such as Sudo fight incident, bullying of Sudo and Suzune at sports festival, etc.

Everyone has a bad impression of Ryuen.

Bad student.

Tyrant.

Don’t want to provoke.

Hate. Delinquent.

Almost all negative emotions.

After seeing Ryuen, Ike, who was originally feeling dissatisfied, immediately shut up.

Sudo had suffered at hands of Ryuen in the past, and he had also seen Ryuen bullying Sudo, so he didn’t want to get involved in the affairs of such a terrifying person.

If possible, he would run away right now.

But now there is Hosen in front of him and Ryuen behind, so he is under a lot of pressure.

“Get away from me!”

Hosen roughly pushed Ike away, making choices for him, then looked directly into Ryuen’s eyes.

Suzune wanted to say something, but found that she had received a text message.

[There will be a fight over there later, you come back first.]

by Hikigaya Hachiman.

’Will you fight? Here? Now? Could it be that’... Suzune suddenly realized, ’That is, maybe Ryuen-kun’s appearance here was not a coincidence, but he was invited by Hikigaya-kun?’

Suzune has stayed in this school for a year after all, and she saw Ryuen and his men appear, and was thinking about the text message she just received from Hikigaya-kun.

’Does this mean that Ryuen-kun’s appearance was instructed by the other party?

Or...Ryuen-kun has completely become Hikigaya-kun’s dog?’ Suzune then obediently retreated from crowd and returned to classroom.

Hachiman slowly took out armband of vice-president of student council that he was about to wear on his arm.

But now is not time to put it on.

If it was last year, if there was a fight, as soon as President Horikita grabbed it, some people would immediately back down.

Because you will be deducted points.

Now, President Horikita has left, but Hikigaya himself is Vice president and has the power to enforce law.

So, current situation is that you just need to attack when Hosen uses violence.

As long as there is any violation of the rules, he can enforce the law.

In fact, when Mr. Ike was pushed away by Hosen just now, he could have just lay on the ground.

But it doesn’t matter.

Because Hachiman invited someone who was good at this kind of thing.

He always believed that professional things should be left to same.

Just now, Hosen showed up in a strong way. Although Suzune went out to block it, there were still quite a few students in class.

Although, people didn’t dare to speak, because couldn’t confirm whether he/she would be targeted or injured by Hosen like Ike.

Fear of getting hurt, fear of being involved.

The reason is that some students in Class 2-B are now speaking in class group.

Most people think Hosen has bad intentions. Some people also think asking price is too high.

But, there was a student who knew Hosen.

Miyake: Actually, when I was in junior high school, a troublemaker in my school was beaten up.

Miyake: The one who was beaten dropped out of school and was hospitalized for treatment. The person who beat him was said to be a boy from another school named Hosen Kazuomi.

Miyake: If the name is correct, then he should be it.

Hasebe: So, Miyacchi, you used to be a delinquent?

Miyake: Don’t talk about this kind of thing here, and besides, I stopped doing it a long time ago!

In other words, although Miyake is a master of archery, he may have been a delinquent in his previous life.

However, when he found out that his leader kind of classmate was beaten badly, he finally realized that he was not good at this profession, so immediately stopped being a fan.

This also indirectly shows how dangerous Hosen is.

It can make bad people feel dangerous and then stop being bad people.

Hosen is 190cm tall.

Even someone like Sudo, who has maxed out his stamina and uses cheats, feels he cannot beat him.

The data of Hosen’s OAA system is as follows.

Academic ability B+ (76)

Athletic talent B+ (80)

Intelligence D (32)

Social Contribution E-(12)

Final evaluation C (55)
