Chapter 142: Chapter 73: The Emergence of Yoga

Covering her face, ”Then it’s decided...”

After all, it’s just a business experiment, purely for fun, so it’s okay if it fails, Su Jiameng silently comforted herself.

In this future interstellar era, there has been a huge gap in culinary culture, and most of the precious recipes from the Earth Era have been completely lost. Plus, humans have focused all their attention elsewhere to maintain their status in the interstellar space, and food has been thoroughly neglected.

However, in the past hundreds of years, as society stabilized and various cultures thrived, cuisine—an important part of daily life—finally received attention from above, began to flourish, and got its chance for a second bloom.

Yet, due to different ingredients and lost recipes, coupled with varying tastes among different human races, the growth of cuisine hasn’t been very healthy.

Although it’s not exactly bad, compared to the Earth Era, there’s still a considerable gap. Ever since being warned by Li You, Su Jiameng constantly reminded herself to be cautious.

The takeout she made was three or four levels above her nearby competitors in terms of appearance, aroma, and taste, yet not too outlandish. Overall, she just needed to maintain a certain competitiveness; she left the task of surpassing everyone else to future successors.

K3 and the others could understand Su Jiameng’s approach, but they couldn’t stand eating the same food as regular customers.

So, after teaming up to bombard Su Jiameng for an hour, they secured their perks: every order they placed had to be made by Su Mo. Thus, Su Jiameng’s nanny became the little team’s cook due to this unequal agreement~~~

Actually, Su Jiameng didn’t have much confidence in this business. As far as she knows, the students at Xilena First Affiliated School are mostly rich and attractive high-class individuals, and ordering takeout sounds like it lowers their sophistication.

But K3 pointed out that because they are rich and attractive, they absolutely won’t cook for themselves.

Not everyone can afford a housekeeper robot with good culinary skills, and even if they could, not everyone can bring one into school. A bunch of poor students, apart from eating the cafeteria’s nutritious meals or ordering takeout, do they have other choices? Their taste buds are going back to prehistorical times!

Therefore, K3 believed that Su Jiameng’s existence is as a ”savior”! A great person saving a bunch of poor students!

Whether she’s a great person, Su Jiameng really couldn’t say. The first batch of customers at the opening was brought in by K3 and the others; the client base was small, and business naturally quiet. Su Jiameng anticipated the situation and didn’t feel regretful.

Everything requires down-to-earth steps, one step at a time, to be stable. Her restaurant had neither roots nor a fixed clientele nor fame, so slow business was normal. As long as she kept going patiently, improvement was just a matter of time.

So, she added a new activity to her daily routine: going to the store periodically to check things out. Of course, she wasn’t supervising employees to prevent laziness but was checking health components of tirelessly working robots—chefs and delivery workers...

Phew—this kind of life is rather nice.” After training and lying in the recovery pod, she came out feeling comfortable, as if all her pores were taking deep breaths, feeling indescribably delighted. The results from another full-body scan by the teaching system left her quite satisfied.

Recovering to this extent in such a short time was already quite rare; she couldn’t demand more, letting everything follow its natural course.

Recently, Su Jiameng developed an interest in a ”new” sport said to be created by ”Princess Fusu,” called ”yoga”! Alright, the great Mary Su, also a literary youth, ”Princess Fusu,” once again shocked Su Jiameng’s worldview.

Su Jiameng learned a bit of yoga in her first life, remembering it was in a university yoga club with a professional yoga instructor teaching her. But at the time Su Jiameng had no foundation, learned very poorly, and abandoned it soon after.

Bored online yesterday, she searched for ”Princess Fusu’s” recent updates and found a heap of yoga teaching videos. And the protagonist of these videos was personally handled by ”Princess Fusu,” on stage herself!

The legendary ”Princess Fusu,” mysterious and elusive, appeared wearing a somewhat religious mask. Though her face was unseen, her graceful figure and charming movements were quite impressive, with her fair skin seemingly delicate and actions skillful and elegant, embodying the beauty of yielding overcoming force. Plus, she was dressed rather scantily, with super tiny tops and shorts...

Ahem, surely quite a few sleazy characters clicked download the moment the video emerged, saved it in their treasured files?

In this future interstellar era, there isn’t really yoga, though there are similar fitness activities, they lack a complete system and are incredibly varied and complex. Yet ”Princess Fusu,” after staying silent, amazed everyone! She integrated these chaotic fitness actions into a new system and created a brand-new fitness routine!

It’s just... the outfit is somewhat unappealing...

Seeing the online disputes amused Su Jiameng, who could only laugh and cry, and she could only quietly rub her stomach, avoiding the urge to puke last year’s New Year’s dinner due to some followers lifting ”Princess Fusu” so high.

Although ”Princess Fusu” claims the title of yoga founder, Su Jiameng, as a knowledgeable insider, could only stay silent. Despite this, she had one thing to thank her for: because of her, Su Jiameng could slowly relearn a long-untouched activity, providing a small comfort and surprise after all the disgust.
