Chapter 139: Chapter 72: Sisters’ Schemes at Home

Of course, Su Jiameng didn’t mention that this ”Princess Fusu” is the one attempting to meddle with second energy technology, because judging from all aspects of ”Princess Fusu’s” actions, it seems the other party neither has the brains nor the ability to quietly approach Snow without arousing suspicion.

If it weren’t for her own coincidental reminders and intervention, Snow might have already handed over the data of this technology. And the perfect transmigrator protagonist focused on the Mary Su path—”Princess Fusu,” does not seem to have the hardware to complete this action.

Inspired by Princess Fusu, Su Jiameng thought of another thing. There is another transmigrator woman in this world, who has stirred up a craze with singing and novels, so having a few more Demons isn’t unusual.

Who can guarantee that the person wanting to acquire second energy technology isn’t someone who knows about future developments or technologies? Or is of the same type as Su Jiameng? There are too many possibilities!

However, regardless of whether the other party is a Mary Su or another type of creature, Su Jiameng hopes that they could be a bit more sensible and not do something self-destructive. Second energy technology indeed brings immense wealth, but with it comes various conflicts and even wars. She really doesn’t want this rare state of peace to be shattered by a transmigrating butterfly!

There are some things that transmigrators can mess around with freely—playing with palaces, collecting handsome men and beautiful women, playing inappropriate games every day...

These don’t matter, at most they’ll cause a small stir, nothing significant. Maybe in the future, one can even write a compelling autobiography, narrating one’s own thrilling and adventurous transmigration journey, making countless people jealous.

But if they reach their claws into other areas... well, the so-called transmigrator’s aura can’t protect them! For instance, if the second energy technology leaks out, the whole interstellar could be in turmoil, with war spreading.

Of course, the most likely scenario is that she’s thinking too much, and things aren’t as complicated as she imagined; it’s all just an extremely coincidental chain of events.

She stayed vigilant and quietly paid attention to that person, and Faslo also stated that he would monitor them closely for a while. However, he also mentioned that the person’s background is somewhat different; it’s difficult to maintain long-term surveillance due to their solid background.

Su Jiameng sighed inwardly, realizing that the person hails from a prestigious family, otherwise, why would even Faslo have to be cautious?

But this doesn’t really matter, as long as Faslo can gather the most basic information, it will be enough for her to judge whether the other party is a transmigrator or something else. If they’re an original inhabitant and everything is coincidence, then the matter ends here. If not, then...

A cold and chilling killing intent flashed through her mind, and they shouldn’t blame her for doing something unpleasant. She doesn’t hold any particular grudge against that person, but if they step on Su Jiameng’s bottom line, killing someone is just a commonplace event for her.

What is Su Jiameng’s bottom line, you ask? It’s simple: family, friends, and peace!

Because Lucy and that person are students in the same department, Su Jiameng asked her to keep an eye and watch the other party’s next move.

But what’s strange is that it’s as if she’s certain that the second energy technology will emerge; not only has she not reined in her actions, but she has also expanded the recycling of obsolete energy and many students’ second-hand Energy Blocks have been handed over to her...

”Do you think this person has too much money and nowhere to spend it? Why do they keep doing these things?” Lucy casually complained to Su Jiameng, ”Acquiring those second-hand or discarded Energy Blocks, yet has stored them without any intent of re-energizing and reselling... is she hoarding them for New Year’s? Or waiting for the Energy Blocks to mold over for breakfast?”

Su Jiameng was amused by her words and helplessly said, ”Your words are really relentless. After all, she is your schoolmate; it’s okay to know some things in your heart, but saying them outright, how would she feel?”

”Well, she couldn’t hear me anyway.” Lucy didn’t care at all. She had already investigated the person’s background thoroughly. Although she didn’t understand why Xiao Meng was so focused on this person, since Xiao Meng was interested, she might as well investigate everything clearly.

You don’t know until you investigate; upon investigation, it’s quite surprising! The person was originally a student at a not-so-reputable higher education institution. Although their academic performance was outstanding at that school, when compared to Xilena First Affiliated School, they could only be considered middle to lower class.
