From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Chapter 141: Chapter 73: The Birth of Yoga

Lucy wasn’t too fond of the twin sisters’ behavior. After watching for a while, she passed on the task to someone else and turned her attention to how Su Jiameng’s restaurant preparations were going. She wasn’t the only one concerned about this; K3 and the others were equally anxious.

And Su Jiameng? Well, she had dived once again into the self-abusive embrace of the training system. Every day, she spent two-thirds of her time training. As for the virtual online challenge posts, she waved her hand and changed the competitions from every two days to once a week.

All sorts of money-making projects continued without pause. She was like a spinning top, whirling around without any intention of stopping.

In reality, no one knew that despite how smoothly everything seemed to be going, she was also dealing with some frustrating issues internally. For instance, the trade request she posted on the Plane Trading Platform ages ago still hadn’t received any response!

Is she really going to be forced to buy the telekinesis training materials from the Plane Store? They’re so expensive it’s painful!

As for the restaurant, which K3 and the others were eagerly anticipating, it’s already completed, and all the equipment is in place.

The domestic robots total thirty in number. Given that there were still plenty of spare parts from the previous shop, she managed to put together ten delivery robots. She even equipped these basic delivery guys with second-hand flying devices and low-end smart brains...

”Everything is ready, just waiting for the customers to place orders...”

Su Jiameng set a six-month training schedule in the training system, exhausting herself daily to the point of dehydration. If it weren’t for Guan Changxi being somewhat reliable and the nanny Su Mo being very attentive, she would have collapsed long ago.

With such an exciting daily life, the dark circles under Su Jiameng’s eyes grew deeper...

At this point, Su Jiameng realized her buddies were all know-it-alls, well-rounded talents.

When the four of them got together, they finished the promotional flyers in half an hour, amazed by the perfectly restored, unedited food photos on them.

Su Jiameng rubbed her forehead and said, ”I’ll send orders to the delivery robots to distribute the flyers at your school...Oh right, your school won’t expel them, will they? They’re now the staff of my little shop...losing even one would be a loss.”

Su Jiameng’s words drew puzzled looks from K3 and the others. She paused for a moment, and then realized the elementary mistake she had just made. Her impression of flyers was still stuck on the paper ones from her past life, whereas in the Future Interstellar era, real paper was extremely precious, even counterfeit paper products came at a price most couldn’t afford.

She paused briefly, came up with a remedy, and asked in confusion, ”Why not use smart brains to transmit the flyers?”

The expressions on K3 and the others’ faces were quite comically tangled. Finally, Xu Na sighed and said, ”Xiao Meng is such a life idiot. It’s lucky she found a good nanny robot like Su Mo, or she’d starve herself to death.”

With Xu Na’s explanation, Su Jiameng finally understood how flyers were distributed in this world. In short, there are usually two methods. The first is setting up a virtual projection at a fixed location to attract passing customers. The second is to provide electronic copies of the flyers to public departments, which then send them to individuals’ smart brain private inboxes from their records.

The former is mainly used for promoting to passersby, while the latter is used by companies, organizations, schools, factories... these kinds of collective departments. That means all Su Jiameng needed to do was hand the flyer over to the receptionist at the Xilena First Affiliated School.

”Although the second method seems to have a wide reach, because so many people send flyers, most students are overwhelmed and won’t even look at them, deleting them straight away.” K3 delivered this infuriating conclusion to Su Jiameng.

Xu Lei picked up the conversation, adding, ”The second method is not very effective, and the first method isn’t suitable for use inside the school. The school environment management chairman and disciplinary chairman would expel it, of course, unless Xiao Meng gets the school’s consent to promote inside the school, then there would be no problem.”

Su Jiameng twitched her mouth. All this talk was useless! If neither method works, what is she supposed to do? K3 and the others quickly cut to the chase, ”I can help you send the flyers to the class and department groups and assist in promoting them. I can’t guarantee the results though. Xiao Meng, every beginning is tough, but don’t get disheartened.”
