Surviving The Fourth Calamity

The Undead Tribe obviously wouldn’t care how the Tower of Nature, which is both elf and mage, faces the challenge of transforming the natural environment to be cleaner and more tasteful. Since they know it won’t affect the people they care about, they quickly discard this issue.

Although everyone knows, if it were Hill, he wouldn’t even need to consider how to cultivate these plants and could come up with a solution.

Having traversed many worlds and acquired significant knowledge in Toril, Hill’s understanding of plants might even surpass that of the Nature Goddesses.

After all, their Little Bear truly bows tenderly to the world, never thinking anything is without value.

Hill may detest evil people, but he never denies their existence.

Therefore, even though he treats others with kindness, far better than those so-called Kind Alignment in Toril, Hill’s faction remains Neutral because he never shouts for the destruction of evil as soon as he encounters it.

Hill makes decisions based on his own judgment.

Thus, in the hearts of the majority in the Undead Tribe, if someone is deemed an enemy by Hill, there’s no need to hesitate, just act.

This trust is earned over time, something even William’s wife cannot achieve... but this is understandable, who cares about the quality of the temporary staff of their boyfriend’s home during a relationship?

Thus, the Undead Tribe’s interactions with the Chult Peninsula are very cautious... and what keeps them vigilant can only be the temporal artifact’s restraint.

The God of Time and Space might not care about William’s romance but has clearly defined the baseline.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ curled its lips and pointed to the giant screen: ”Magic Sword, pay attention to Slaran, their shallowest color... Hmm?

Why is it trembling so much?”

”Asmodier has begun to vie with Aesces for control of the half-plane.” ’Perfect Baldy’ shook his head, ”What we need to observe more to determine, the Lord of Hell has probably already figured out.

He won’t give that somewhat slow Slaran Deputy a chance to react, and he will also try to prevent those Abyssal folks from figuring out what he has in mind.

Not everyone will, like us, still watch what the lowest minions are doing in such battles.”

”That’s all my doing well!” ’Magic Sword’ retorted discontentedly, ”Idler, what’s with the deep act? Why aren’t you talking? What are you up to?”

’An Idler’ scratched his hair: ”I don’t understand. Isn’t this dimensional space clearly wanted by the Queen of Chaos?

Why does she watch Asmodier plunder?”

”She has always been watching Cronos!” ’Perfect Baldy’ didn’t expect his idler to actually use his brain one day, so despite his question being somewhat silly, Baldy swiftly answered his question, ”The Queen of Chaos primarily focuses on Cronos. They should have reached a mutual agreement.

Asmodier sends Typhon to pester, rather than act himself, likely to show sincerity.

Hmm... wait, you don’t know who the Queen of Chaos is?

She was the earliest Lord of the Abyss but lost her power and husband due to some foolish decisions.

Because of her overly primitive mind, she’s not adept at delicate tasks like seizing dimensional spaces.

Generally, she directly shatters things.

Her current goal is simply to rescue her imprisoned husband Miska; she doesn’t have such deep enmity with Asmodier.

But she does have a similar hatred towards the gods. They all play with order... Oh, hmm?”

”It’s unrelated to us.” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ waved a hand, ”The Abyssal Will sending her out is already abnormal; Edna understands herself.”

”I understand now.” ’Perfect Baldy’ pointed at the giant screen that had started to blossom, ”We seem unable to see the ending?”

-----------------

The giant screen slowly descended.

Hill waved his hand to retrieve the strange object that looked like a crystal ball into the storage ring, lightly sighing.

”Sir, we’ve organized all our things, ready to depart at any time.” List floated out.

Behind him, a black Little Whale, fifteen meters long, sluggishly blew bubbles. Under the sunlight, although his body was black, it shimmered like the colorful bubbles from his back rising into the sky.

Hill turned to glance at it.

The little black ball reluctantly returned to its previous position.

”How’s it going?” Hill asked gently, ”That dimensional space, where did you bounce it to?”

”I bounced it towards the Mulholland Pantheon.” Aesces slowly replied, ”The Grim Reaper from his house stirs trouble here with me, and next door is Poseidon. No matter where that thing bounces, it brings me joy.”

”That’s good.” Hill pondered this small matter, considering it still within Aesces’s ability to be fulfilled, ”If it indeed reached there, it would be quite delightful.

Slaran would thank you for your help.

They must love the strict rules of Mulholland.

Is Cronos dead?”

Both sides are waiting for the moment the dimensional space changes hands.

Moreover, any transaction conducted by the Evil Faction must be completed immediately; even a minute’s delay could lead to various situations.

If Asmodier genuinely wishes to temporarily reconcile with the Abyssal Will, there will be no surprises.

”Rose is truly intriguing.” Aesces couldn’t help but exclaim, ”I originally thought that since she kept devouring Gaia’s flesh, she felt secure, but just as Asmodier and I officially began competing, she quickly abandoned the remains and fled into the Shadow.

Nonetheless, her escape was quite justified.

As soon as she left, the Slaran Deputy jumped over... if Rose hadn’t fled, likely that clone would also have been left behind.

Even though Rose serves as their intermediary, it seems no one takes her seriously.

No wonder she just gnaws there, having no intention to take it away.

Otherwise, the Slaran Deputy and the Queen of Chaos surely wouldn’t let her go.

The laws over there in the Abyss are truly incomprehensible... what’s the deal with their agreements?”

”You don’t need to worry about them.” Hill smiled helplessly, ”The Abyss contracts are fulfilled not by who is more intelligent, but by who is stronger.

Being cunning is useless before the madness of violence unless Rose can ensure she won’t be caught.

Just like now, even if Rose and the Queen of Chaos’s agreement to claim Gaia is only half-completed, Rose still needs to inform the Queen of Chaos about what she knows.

After all, it’s not like she hasn’t given her anything, right?

Unless Rose wishes to become an enemy of the Queen of Chaos.

The Spider Queen knows who she’s dealing with and understands the other party will inevitably act accordingly; she wouldn’t be foolish.

You surely can’t comprehend their kind of rules, so not interacting with the Abyss is the only thing you can do.”

Aesces jumped a few times: ”I know, I won’t.

Absolutely avoid dealing with things I don’t understand; this has become my motto!”

Hill couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows: looks like Aesces has indeed learned quite a bit from the Undead Tribe, even speaking their motto.

”So, is Cronos dead?” Hill pursued.

”When you asked earlier, he had a last breath; now he’s truly dead~” Aesces replied seriously, ”Hmm? What’s going on?

How is it suddenly unleashing all their might?

Ah... the Lord of Hell vanished with Cronos and his two subordinates.

Only the Queen of Chaos and Slaran remained there... hmm?

Ah!

How does Asmodier have so many pure Radiant Crystals in his hands?”

He said very earnestly: ”Hill, he can even activate them!

The dimensional space almost exploded into daylight.

The Queen of Chaos cursed Asmodier furiously, so vulgar~

I won’t imitate it for you to hear.

However, why can the Lord of Hell use Radiant Crystals?

Is it possible that the Evil Faction... still has a way... would this possibly cause trouble?”

”He was once a Battle Angel, born in the purest light of Heavenly Mountain.” Hill quickly spun his mind, squinting his eyes as he slowly spoke, ”There must be a method, in the instant those Radiant Crystals activate, to store them into static space.

It’s likely a talent of theirs, inherent to Primordial Angels, which others can’t achieve.”

This character must be preparing a lot of things in advance to get revenge on Heavenly Mountain.

Radiant Crystals are quite abundant, only to be wasted at such a time.

Though it seems Asmodier’s precautions against the Chaos Sea’s Slaran are even stronger than the Abyssal Will!

Could it be because the so-called anarchism those frogs persist upon poses a threat to Hell as well?
