Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Cronos opened his eyes.

Finally, he had once again appeared in the Mortal World!

Even though he sensed numerous threats around him, he quickly confirmed the presence of Uranus... Because both his divinity and power were acquired by depriving his own father, he and Uranus could sense each other’s existence.

Although they could only pinpoint a general location rather than a specific address, it was at least a clue.

Then, he curled his lips into a faint smile... As expected, without Gaia’s help, Uranus’s soul power was not even a tenth of his own!

Heh~

Before Cronos fell into slumber, he saw Uranus’s soul escape amid the chaos... Perhaps because he died too early, the essence of Uranus’s aura turned into numerous shards within their native world, detaching swiftly.

The Greek Gods would never understand how too much sin pulls one stronger into Hell... Uranus’s so-called savagery was only towards Gaia, but he did not harm the world itself.

Therefore, the sin of world destruction had nothing to do with him.

Although he was most severely injured, he was the easiest to be freed.

Cronos, however, was different; he was the origin of all sins.

Although Zeus’s three brothers made quite a mess as they appeared, it couldn’t compare to their own father.

As for whether he’s a stud, that’s another matter; it doesn’t have a significant impact on the world itself.

This is why, despite having a more complete soul, he could only rely on Gaia’s help for a chance at resurrection.

Additionally, it was puzzling; he should have had two chances of resurrection... The first was when Triton and Aesces were locked in combat; Aesces even degraded the world level to restrict Triton.

That was the time Gaia had an opportunity to use the incarnation of the Goddess of the Sea to birth a child with the King of Danboro.

Initially, she didn’t intend to create anything related to love and beauty but combined the remains of Aphrodite and the flesh of Aesces’s Goddess of the Sea to make a suitable avatar.

However, to Gaia’s surprise, Cronos’s divine soul did not respond at all... It seemed as if something in the depths of the universe was more attractive to him than here!

This startled Gaia.

Something that could attract Cronos more than Aphrodite’s remains and her call could only be Uranus.

At that time, she had no choice but to let those avatars roam freely, searching to see if Uranus had resurrected first.

Most importantly, had he become stronger than all of them combined?

Unless Uranus actively called Cronos, his influence couldn’t possibly be stronger than Gaia’s.

Cronos would only be wary of that guy, not responding hastily.

Yet, even with the energy of the Chaos Sea, Gaia couldn’t find one significant enough Uranus shard to raise her alarm!

This was news she exchanged for by selling her soul to Slaran; the laws guaranteed its authenticity.

Hence, Gaia could only guess that this outcome might be because she lacked the divinity associated with Aesces in this world.

Though troublesome, both Aesces and Triton were too confident and overlooked the negligence of a third-party force, which gave Gaia courage and confidence.

It had been so many years; she didn’t mind waiting a little longer.

Then came the second opportunity.

The birth of Lucimar.

Although Gaia sensed Cronos’s reaction during this child’s birth, for some reason, he was again attracted to other parts of the universe!

Now Gaia could be certain that although Uranus hadn’t resurrected, he had found a way to influence her call to Cronos.

But at this point, it was too late to figure something out.

Lucimar had already condensed his Soul Light, and Gaia, having found a perfect hidden identity, did not want any surprises before fully consolidating the divinity she desired.

Moreover, with Gaia succeeding greatly in the domain of love and beauty, she had some mysterious confidence in her methods... She believed she could definitely control Lucimar’s heart.

As long as Lucimar could successfully take the bait, whatever backup plans Uranus had would be useless.

The stack of buffs on their side surpassed any conceivable existence.

Completely unaware that Uranus would give his soul amalgamation the name Cronos, Gaia diligently initiated her plan to nurture Lucimar.

It must be said, the Greek Gods, who destroyed their own world, might have truly been cursed by the world.

And Cronos was the most unfortunate of them all.

His two opportunities coincided with the awakening of the God of Time and Space after having half his soul cut off, awakening his divinity and power in the River of Time and Space in Teraxil... Although he couldn’t officially become a deity due to the incomplete soul, when he spoke under the name of Cronos, it was enough to draw Cronos’s attention himself.

An opportunity is fleeting, not to mention Gaia misinterpreted many things due to being unable to detect Uranus’s existence.

Then for the second time... Considering Lucimar’s age, it matched the time when the God of Time and Space deified under the name of Cronos.

He happened upon a good season.

Lucimar later encountered much misfortune likely because he expended a large portion of his luck during his reincarnation opportunity.

It’s a pity he didn’t use it all; otherwise, he wouldn’t have ended up in such a chaotic womb.

Fortunately, the God of Time and Space later began to dissolve his name, allowing Gaia another chance.

Otherwise, Cronos would have been tormented for a long time... The God of Time and Space’s presence in Teraxil is inseparable from Uranus, so even if nobody acknowledged them, there was some bond between them.

With the God of Time and Space’s firmness of character and strong style, if he had been a bit lenient, he might have ended up competing for the body with Cronos.

Then he was also a Devil Sorcerer.

Whichever one succeeded in the end, this body would have led him directly to Hell, back before Asmodeus.

As for Uranus’s own soul... Already fragmented like this, what had he to fear?

If he could deceive even a bit, and if luck played well, maybe he could seize a resurrection opportunity!

Although the newly resurrected Cronos knew nothing at all, lamenting his difficult rebirth, he pulled himself together to face the Lord of Hell.

But in the Divine Kingdom of Teraxil, the God of Time and Space finally figured these things out.

Therefore, he rarely issued a long-term mission to the Undead Tribe:

To clear Uranus’s soul shards, or report the location of creatures possessing those soul shards.

A long list of Uranus soul characteristics was clearly listed below.

The Undead Tribe could compare one by one using the table; whatever it was, as long as it possessed more than two-thirds of the traits, they could activate the Divine Array scanner on their tablet.

However, if the traits unmatched were more than half, the Undead Tribe using the Divine Array had to cover the energy cost themselves... Even for those Undead with modest wealth, truly getting fined would hurt.

In a task broadcast similar to a public mission, Hill naturally knew.

Aesces, who was so startled by the scene that he had to seek solace with Hill, also saw it.

Of course, he wasn’t disgusted; rather, the scary folks here were daunting.

Aesces muttered, fortunate that Hill and ’Snow Cloud Peak’ reminded him not to let the battle happen in the Main World back then, he didn’t overtrust his strength... After all, being disdained for his intelligence to the point he self-doubted somewhat, he loved only his pride in strong power.

However, considering the consequences of prior failed heed, Aesces decided sensibly to first create a mirrored space, one that could be cut at any time.

Though it would cost him quite some energy, it’s better than unexpected mishaps.

Hill was a bit annoyed by his murmurings, but with List and Purwell away packing, having someone willing to keep an eye on the large screen and listen as audience broadcasts were made, he was rather pleased.

Aesces was a bit confused: ”Isn’t that annoying fellow’s enemy the child and ex-wife of that Uranus fellow?”

”Why is your God of Time and Space hunting Uranus?”

”Probably because Uranus almost pulled the same move Gaia did in our world,” Hill sneered... If the soul of this current God of Time and Space wasn’t present, Teraxil would have faced consequences even worse than Aesces.
