Surviving The Fourth Calamity

However, it’s likely that the Abyssal Will sent out the Queen of Chaos as a hint to Asmodeus, who has already reached a position enough to converse with him.

Only now did Hill realize why, in the original history, the Lord of Hell would so readily take the initiative to seek cooperation with the Abyssal Will. At that time, there must have also been a battle between them that appeared confrontational but was actually a mutual display of power behind the scenes.

Yet the Abyssal Will still has his old problem: not being sensitive enough to recent changes, requiring a longer reaction time than others, and not listening to the reports on the current happenings of the Demon Lords at all.

By the time those messages reach his mind, even if the game is still ongoing, the Undead Tribe might have already gone through several generations of updates.

So the Abyssal Will had no idea that everything happening in Aesces would be seen by the deities of Toril at the fastest speed.

Hill estimated that the smart people on Toril had already deduced something from the arrival of the Queen of Chaos... Although they might not think that those two would join forces to attack the Heavenly Mountain, they at least understand that the blood feud between the Bottomless Abyss and the nine layers of hell might see some change.

Once the primal enemies of demons and devils are no longer each other, that spells bad news for any world and is a disaster for Toril.

Though the presence of the Undead Tribe might seem strong, Toril is simply too vast, and most countries won’t welcome those strange elves who adhere more strictly to strange principles than even Tyr’s Righteous Knights... They’d rather follow the path of complete depravity with the wicked, unable to save their own souls, than give a copper coin to the lowly.

And William has always guarded his identity very cautiously, never lightly interfering in Toril’s affairs.

This is also one of the reasons AO hasn’t had much reaction to the existence of the Undead Tribe... It’s mostly his old acquaintances commanding the Undead Tribe’s actions.

After becoming familiar with the work style of the Undead Tribe, the Toril people, who have long been accustomed to merging with various Otherworld visitors, can easily find ways to deal with them.

Therefore, Toril will inevitably fall into chaos again due to the possible temporary truce between Hell and the Abyss.

However, Hill thought it was rather good.

At least the Undead Tribe will have a very fulfilling period.

Though there aren’t many major tasks, they won’t be idle either.

Not bad, this little data Chapter in Aesces is like an introductory task given midway... Whether it’s completed or not, it doesn’t affect the future plot.

It’s just a reward for those undead who contribute more, and those who haven’t entered would only envy for a couple of days, without it feeling unfair.

Hill turned to look at Aesces: ”When are you planning to throw out that mirrored space? Asmodeus has been fighting with you for it for quite a while now!”

”Not yet.” Aesces shook his head, ”The stronger the force pulling between us, the farther that plane space will be flung away.

I don’t want that thing sticking back to my world in the end.

That’s Slaran!

Even if they won’t actively invade my world, they won’t pass up the chance if they stumble upon it!

Their method of reproduction is too disgusting; I can’t accept it.”

Hill nodded... Slaran’s eggs need to hatch on living hosts.

The final result is visible to all; those skulls, the tadpoles consume human flesh and blood and then reside within, waiting for the final transformation into frog form.

It is truly brutal, intolerable for any being with a shred of humanity.

”I’ve suddenly realized there’s no need to worry about your future!” Hill smiled warmly, ”Keep it up.”

Aesces seemed a bit regretful: ”I actually somewhat hope you could stay in my world, but I also know it doesn’t suit you here.

However, once my side’s Marine Law achieves a certain balance, I think when you come again, you won’t frown at everything as you do now.”

Hill shook his head and smiled wryly: ”You must be stable.

I’m heading back now, needing quite some time to settle down before being out again.

When that time comes, I will visit my friend... Do you need to consider if I like the place where my friend lives?

I want to see you~”

Hill was well aware that the small black sphere Aesces used to meet him was his true form.

When facing other beings, he either used a person-shaped virtual light form or did not appear at all, only manifesting a voice.

Aesces, indeed, was greatly influenced by that being in the Elemental Realm, deeply obsessed with his own essence and never shaping his deity image into a human form.

”Mm~” Aesces bounced joyfully.

Then he abruptly froze: ”Rose?”

The tangled battle on the giant screen finally changed... Hill finally had a bit of mind to take a look.

The battles of the Evil Faction are never worth watching because either one move is more insidious than the next, or more disgusting.

Just like how Shaer is accustomed to fighting using dark tentacles, no need to mention these characters.

Slaran’s tongues flying everywhere, the Queen of Chaos’s octopus legs in the air, plus Typhon’s beyond-words form... Seeing it all from start to end, Hill would truly admire them.

Of course, his relaxation was due to the Undead Tribe being able to record everything.

The scary part about the God of Time and Space is, even against unsolvable beings like the Queen of Chaos and Asmodeus, he can stabilize the existence of the imaging.

If it were the Strange Objects from the Fantasy World that recorded images, no matter how high-level those were, they should have been destroyed by the emitted energy when those two act fully... Just as deities cannot be casually observed, can beings like the Lord of Hell be watched so casually?

Just like right now with Aesces, even if everyone knows the Undead Tribe’s tablets can watch the battle, the ones truly capable of viewing it are only Hill.

Lucimar’s huge red and green oasis screen was swiftly shut down just as Asmodeus appeared... But even so, there were still some who tried to sneak into the Undead Tribe’s territory to peek and got directly demonized and then killed by the Undead Tribe.

Though that’s their fault for seeking death, not deserving sympathy... After all, after the formal battle began, Lucimar issued a prohibition to everyone and sternly declared the danger level of this matter.

But the recording equipment Aesces got from William showed no signs of damage in such a terrifying environment.

Of course, that was also due to Aesces hiding it well enough.

But the might of the God of Time and Space is evident to anyone with discerning eyes.

Fortunately, now Teraxil is not a place just anyone can enter, and the God of Time and Space is an old scholar who never steps outside, just squats in his Divine Kingdom researching things of interest.

For some time, no one will likely be able to contend with him.

In the future... How could Teraxil not match up to a world of Toril’s level?

”Rose is out~” echoed Magic Sword’s yelling voice in the Undead Tribe’s command hall, ”She can really hide~ just now moving.

By the way, why is she going to that corner?

Nothing’s there... hmm?

Typhon seems to be throwing Gaia over there?”

’Snow Cloud Peak’ raised his head: ”Ah~ Slaran, the Lord of Hell, and the Queen of Chaos seem to have reached some agreement, and it looks like Rose intends to profit from it.”

”How could the Queen of Chaos agree?” ’Perfect Bald’ looked at his tablet, asking seriously, ”No, more like, what makes Rose think those few over there would hand Gaia to her?

Even if beef is tasty, can’t chicken also be eaten?”

”Rose probably knows the location of a small fragment of the Seven-Section Rod,” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ didn’t mind much, not thinking the Queen of Chaos could have collected it all, ”I recall hearing Mithril Elves mention it.

Do you remember that half-plane where their main branch is located?

Their enemy was some hideous little gnomes.

Despite being few, they could hold on because there seemed to be a small fragment there, which prevented those chaotic gnome Magicians from entering their territory.

But later on, the power of Order apparently began to decline, and they suspected the one holding onto that fragment was either dying or had left.

So the force sustaining the half-plane was no longer sufficient.

Otherwise, the Mithril Elves wouldn’t send so much force back to Toril to assess the situation... Normally, with the temperament of those elves, dispatching a 12-person squad would be more than enough.

They’ve always been very confident.”

’Perfect Bald’ typed rapidly, saying without lifting his head: ”Why don’t I know this?”

”You’re asking why Edna doesn’t know this, right?” ’Snow Cloud Peak’ laughed, ”How could the elves tell such a face-losing thing to the girl they raised like a daughter?

Once they find out about Edna’s identity later, they would never mention it.

That time, the Matriarch’s assistant let slip to Lynn while chatting drunkenly.

It just so happened that at that time, I was frequently grabbed by Lynn to deal with... hehe... the Undead Tribe who loves to play the lost game, so I heard it just right.”

’Magic Sword’ blinked innocuously at the giant screen: ”Ah~ Gaia finally met his end~

Those who love to make mincemeat, shall themselves become mincemeat~”
