Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 462: Chapter 365: Caught Off Guard

Inside the train compartment, a confined space.

Zhou Yun looked at Lew Qingqing and asked, ”Can we talk about it now?”

Lew Qingqing said, ”This matter, it’s really hard to say.”

Zhou Yun saw her suddenly becoming evasive and with a puzzled frown said, ”So do you want to talk or not? If not, then get off the train.”

Lew Qingqing stared at Zhou Yun in shock.

”You, why are you being so aggressive? Can’t you give me a little time?”

Zhou Yun looked at her helplessly and said, ”Aren’t we both very busy? Just tell me directly what you want to say, okay?”

Lew Qingqing then said, ”I’ve encountered something and might need your help.”

”What?” Zhou Yun looked at Lew Qingqing with a puzzled expression.

She really couldn’t think of anything that Lew Qingqing would need her help with.

”Then say it,” she said.

Lew Qingqing sighed sadly and said, ”The thing is, I’m pregnant.”

Zhou Yun’s eyebrows twitched in shock.

This news was too... unexpected!

What situation was this? Lew Qingqing suddenly becoming pregnant? What Zhou Yun didn’t expect even more was, why did Lew Qingqing come to her for help? What help could she provide? They weren’t relatives or even friends.

Unbelievable, just unbelievable.

Zhou Yun hesitated a moment, then carefully asked, ”Whose child is it? Chen Wenjun’s, or your boyfriend’s?”

Lew Qingqing immediately glared and said, ”Of course it’s Li Qi’s. I’ve long stopped being involved with Chen Wenjun, how could it be his?”

”I don’t remember when you two broke up,” Zhou Yun said.

”Does my belly look like it’s been long?” Lew Qingqing said irritably, rolling her eyes.

”Since you’re already pregnant, don’t get too agitated. Stay calm,” Zhou Yun pressed her hand on Lew Qingqing’s thigh, afraid she’d jump up in the car, ”Also, you said you needed my help, what kind of help do you want from me?”

Lew Qingqing took a deep breath and sighed again.

”I want to have this baby,” Lew Qingqing told Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun was somewhat surprised, Lew Qingqing wanted to have the baby at this time? Really? Although Lew Qingqing’s career was not going very smoothly this year, whatever the situation, now was her time to rise and shine. Frankly speaking, when Zhou Yun heard Lew Qingqing say she was pregnant, her first reaction was, didn’t you even take preventive measures?

Zhou Yun looked at her, confused, and asked, ”So, why are you telling me this? What help do you want from me?”

Lew Qingqing suddenly grabbed Zhou Yun’s hand, saying, ”I want to ask for your help to let me play a pregnant woman in your drama.”

”What, what?” Zhou Yun was shocked.

”I can’t let my agency know I’m pregnant now, otherwise, they definitely won’t support me in having this baby. I have to hide it from them and from other people too. The only way I can think of is to play a pregnant woman to conceal it,” Lew Qingqing gripped Zhou Yun’s hand tightly, pleadingly looked at her and said, ”The only solution I can think of is to play a pregnant woman in the drama you’re starring in. That way, using the role as a cover, I can hide it from everyone else. Can you do it?”

Zhou Yun felt her heart racing.

This wasn’t Lew Qingqing asking for help. This was asking her to run into a minefield!

”How could you possibly keep this a secret? What are you thinking?!” Zhou Yun said in shock, ”There will come a day when you have to give birth, what then? Give birth in the crew? And after the birth? Hide the baby? Do you think you can really keep it from your company?”

”As long as I can hide it for the first few months, they won’t force me to terminate the pregnancy,” Lew Qingqing said adamantly.

”As long as you want to keep this baby, nobody can force you to terminate it, this is not some feudal era!” Zhou Yun said, ”Lew Qingqing, don’t be reckless. You think this is a TV drama? Being pregnant cannot be hidden openly. It’s not realistic. Being pregnant has symptoms, it’s not just about having a big belly.”

Lew Qingqing’s eyes suddenly reddened.

She said grievously, ”But if my company finds out I’m pregnant now, I’ll definitely be excluded from resource allocation. I absolutely can’t let them know at this time, otherwise for the next year or two, I’ll get nothing! I just need to hide it for three months, and I will recover as quickly as possible and get back to work.”

”Wait, Lew Qingqing, listen to me carefully, you might be able to hide your pregnancy for a month or two, but definitely not for several months,” Zhou Yun said. ”You have assistants and agents around you. In the coming time, you can’t avoid meeting them.”

”My assistant works for me,” Lew Qingqing said. ”My agent generally doesn’t come to me while I’m shooting. Please help me, can you? I can only trust you, others would reveal my secret.”

”How do you know I won’t?” Zhou Yun looked at this hot potato and said, ”What if I turn around and spill the beans?”

Lew Qingqing shook her head: ”I know you won’t.”

”Okay, Lew Qingqing, I admit, I won’t spill the beans because I don’t want to attract trouble, but I have nothing to do with you and I won’t help you with this. I told you why, I don’t believe you can keep it hidden. I really advise you to talk to your company,” Zhou Yun said. ”Prepare early.”

Lew Qingqing gritted her teeth.

”So you just won’t help me, will you?”

”This kind of help is meaningless.”

”Zhou Yun, if you help me with this, I’ll remember it for the rest of my life,” Lew Qingqing’s fingers dug into Zhou Yun’s palm, ”Help me this once.”

The more Lew Qingqing said, the more uneasy Zhou Yun felt in her heart.

”Sorry.” Zhou Yun shook her head.

Lew Qingqing looked at Zhou Yun with disbelief, then scoffed and turned to leave the train.

”Let’s go,” Lew Qingqing told her assistant.

Zhou Yun watched their departing figures silently.

Zheng Xiaojue and Cao Jun got on the train.

Zheng Xiaojue immediately asked, ”Sister Xiao Yun, what did Lew Qingqing want to tell you?”

Zhou Yun shook her head and said, ”Nothing.”

She kept to her word just spoken, she wouldn’t reveal the secret to anyone.

But, what she had just said was truly what was on her mind, how long could Lew Qingqing keep this secret? By pretending to be a pregnant woman to conceal the fact that she really was one, how many people could she deceive?

Zhou Yun was not optimistic, her heart filled with anxiety as she sighed quietly.
