Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan couldn’t be bothered with Reporter Chen anymore. He turned his head and asked Major David, ”We’ll leave in five minutes. How about that?”

”Okay, no problem.” Major David made an ’OK’ gesture. In the end, when he heard the three reporters panting angrily, Major David was very curious about what this Chinese man said to anger the three of them.

Xia Jinyuan didn’t answer his question. He just smiled and replied, ”I was just reminding them to pay attention to their identities.”

Five minutes had passed, but the gunshots outside were still endless. Xia Jinyuan walked toward the family of three who had been cooperating in the corner. When he approached, he could hear the boy’s even breathing.

The little boy had fallen asleep while listening to gunfire.

Xia Jinyuan squatted down and raised his hand. He touched the little boy’s head and stroked it gently. ”It’s good that he’s asleep. Follow behind us later. Don’t be afraid. We’ll bring you to the peacekeeping camp. When we return to the country, we’ll try our best to help you. However, your nationality has changed. We can only try our best.”

”Thank you. Thank you so much.” The couple thanked him again with tears in their eyes. They placed all their hope of getting out alive on the Chinese soldiers who were protecting them. Even though their nationality had changed, subconsciously, they still believed in the Chinese soldiers without a doubt.

Even at this moment, they regretted changing their nationality.

The wife held her husband’s arm tightly. Her eyes were red and swollen.

The night in Libya was still young. The sky above the city that was shrouded by death was filled with smoke. Countless Libyans could not sleep at night and waited for dawn in fear.

Actually, to them, it didn’t make a difference whether it was dark or dawn.

The city at dawn was also very dangerous. It was also enveloped by the flames of war. In that case, what difference did it make if it was dark or bright?

The citizens of a peaceful country would never know how much the citizens of a war-torn country yearned for peace. They yearned for peace and freedom; they looked forward to a miracle.

Several dark shadows crossed the street that was under artillery fire, moving forward at the fastest speed and entering the next shelter.

In front, the British soldiers cleared the path. Every few steps, they would squat down so that the people behind them could follow closely. In the middle, the three British soldiers were responsible for covering the six reporters as they advanced. T6 and V8 covered the family of three as they advanced. Xia Jinyuan, G3, and the rest followed closely behind.

There were many people, which made them a large target. Every move was filled with danger. The flames of gunfire lit up the street, illuminating the figures running past it.

”Quick, quick! Follow! Follow!”

In front, the squatting British soldier spoke in a low voice. The footsteps behind him were hurried as they passed through quickly. In the end, they squatted tightly under the broken wall that was filled with the smell of gunpowder. The soldiers stretched their feet and adjusted for a short time.

Chen Shuzhen looked at the artillery fire in front of her. Her eyes flickered with fear. She felt that it was a pity that her camera was taken and she couldn’t take photos at such a close distance.

Just as she popped her head out, the British soldier, who was focused on her, pressed it down.

He didn’t want to die. He didn’t want to die because of this stupid reporter!

Chen Shuzhen, whose head was pressed against the broken wall, was about to explode from anger. ”Let me go! Don’t make me angry!”

The hand that was pressing on her head left. The British soldier even wiped his hand on his pants in disdain. He found it dirty!

Fortunately, Chen Shuzhen didn’t see the soldier’s secret action. If not, she would be so angry that her soul might just leave her body.
