Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

He raised his leg and kicked T6’s foot. ”Didn’t you see what shoes you’re wearing? You’re wearing a pair of combat boots, yet you went and kicked a football. Why don’t you twist your head off and kick it like a football?”

The boy standing in front walked over step by step. In the end, he stood two to three meters away from the armored vehicle and spoke in the language of the Basa tribe. ”Can you give me the football? We only have one football. Don’t snatch it away, okay?”

Xia Jinyuan, T6, and the rest didn’t understand. White Crane understood. When he translated the boy’s words, the special forces soldiers from the Xueyu unit felt their hearts ache.

Even though they had been through hundreds of battles and seen countless casualties, when they heard the boy say that, they felt a crack in their hearts.

Xia Jinyuan held the football with both hands and walked to the boy’s side. Behind him was White Crane, who could be a translator. ”I’m very sorry. We spoiled your football. Give me three days. I’ll definitely think of a way to compensate you with a brand new football.”

White Crane translated for the little boy. He added, ”Don’t be afraid. We’re Chinese peacekeepers. We won’t hurt you!”

The boy took the football carefully. When he saw the big hole in the football, the sadness on his tanned face made Xia Jinyuan feel guilty. ”We’ll definitely compensate you with a football. Please wait for me here three days later, okay?”

Perhaps it was because White Crane could speak the language of their tribe, the boy, whose eyes were filled with fear, replied softly, ”No need. Thank you. I can ask my mother to fill this with fabric and sew it up. We can still continue kicking it.”

If it were in China, it would be fine if the football tore. If it tore, they could just replace it with a new one. There were footballs everywhere.

The supermarket, stationery store, wholesale market… There were footballs for sale everywhere. They weren’t precious things.

However, in the eyes of the boy, the football in his hand was the most precious. Even if it was torn, he would find a way to use it again.

Without giving Xia Jinyuan a chance to speak, he hugged the football and ran away. As he ran, he waved his hand and cheered loudly.

It didn’t matter if the football was torn. As long as the football was returned to them, it was fine.

The scattered children all ran over to hug the boy. The boy who carried the football back was like a returning hero receiving praise from his friends.

T6 pounded his head. ”Q King, I’ll definitely find a brand new football to compensate them.”

”Compensate them in three days!” Xia Jinyuan glanced at T6, who was blaming himself. His voice was slightly cold. ”Let’s settle the Wanhai reporters matter first before looking for a football.”

”Yes!” T6 nodded.

They boarded the armored vehicle and continued forward. They didn’t stop until they reached a place where there was a huge bomb on the street. At the corner of the street, the British peacekeepers and soldiers were on guard with guns. There were no Libyan citizens nearby.

When they saw the Chinese soldiers jumping down from the armored vehicle, a British soldier jogged over.

The person who came to the front of Xia Jinyuan was Major David from England. He was well-equipped. Those who didn’t know better would think that he would be going to the battlefield in the next second. When he saw Xia Jinyuan, he reached out his hand and said enthusiastically, ”Hello, Chinese soldiers. Nice to meet you.”

”Hello, Major David. Nice to meet you.” Xia Jinyuan shook his hand. ”I heard that you already have some news. Can you tell us? After all, the earlier we act, the sooner we can save the missing reporters.”

The earlier they saved the reporters from Wanhai, the earlier they could find a new soccer ball to compensate the children.

Major David was very happy. ”Of course. I can tell you all the clues we know. We have the same goal. I hope we can work together happily.”

This time, the English soldiers were very efficient. Major David said to a soldier beside him, ”Please give me a pen and paper first. I need to draw the general situation inside for you.”

The English soldiers would need to run back if they wanted to get paper and pens. K7 moved and quickly took out a pen and paper from the armored vehicle and handed them to Major David.

”Oh, thank you. You’re really well-prepared!” Major David smiled and took the pen and paper. Soon, he drew a building and the map inside.

Xia Jinyuan’s gaze darkened.

Why did this look like a base with a special function?

”This is a night club. It’s a club specially for the soldiers to play. The six reporters disappeared here. There’s only one entrance and exit to the entire night club. It’s the door you see in front of you. It’s a double-door electronic iron door. Once there’s a serious situation, the night club will immediately inform its personnel to close the door.

”After entering the door, there’s a 50-meter corridor. There are night club staff guarding both sides. Normally, there’ll be about ten people. After the corridor, there’s a disco. There are all kinds of people there. The thugs and staff of the night club are all there.”

Major David explained in detail as if… he had been there many times.

Xia Jinyuan glanced at him. Major David looked over too. Then, he smiled and explained, ”You know that we’re under a lot of pressure. Occasionally, we need some entertainment to relax. I think that as men, we should understand.”

”I understand.” Xia Jinyuan smiled and nodded. He understood but didn’t agree.

Major David could tell that there was no sincerity in Xia Jinyuan’s voice. In order to save his image, he had no choice but to explain, ”Of course, we all wear plain clothes when we go there. We won’t be recognized by the ladies there.”

Xia Jinyuan raised his eyebrows. ”Yes, I believe that you’ll be able to hide your identities easily. What next? Are there any other clues?”

”Yes, of course. There are more important clues.” Major David felt that no matter how much he explained, the Chinese soldiers wouldn’t be interested. He shrugged and continued, ”This is the disco. After passing through the disco, you’ll be at the bar. There are two doors behind the bar. One leads to the cafeteria, and the other is a secret door. It provides some special services.”

At this point, Major David raised his head and looked at Xia Jinyuan again. Should he explain what special services were here? This group of Chinese soldiers looked like they had never come to the largest nightclub in the South District to have fun.

Did they never need to solve their physiological needs?

Seeing that he had paused, Xia Jinyuan raised his head. He looked puzzled. ”Why? Is there a problem here?”

He didn’t need to explain?

”Oh, no. I just want to tell you that there’s a wall behind the bar counter. We’ve always suspected that there are weapons hidden in the wall.” Major David, who didn’t want to explain in detail, heaved a sigh of relief. He quickly went back to the main topic. ”That’s because I found three surveillance cameras here. Besides the bartender, there are two people guarding the bar from time to time. Only those who need to provide service can enter the secret door behind the bar. Those who just want to drink and relax are not allowed to enter.”
