Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The deputy squad leader patted Ye Jian’s shoulder lightly. She could tell that Ye Jian was really worried about the missing peacekeeping soldiers. ”It’s okay, it’s okay. Those who become peacekeeping soldiers are all soldiers with strong comprehensive abilities. From the moment it’s confirmed that they’d go for peacekeeping, they’d undergo special training for a few months. Trust me, they’ll be fine. They’ll come back safely.”

Peacekeeping was not an easy thing to do. They had to go from a peaceful country to a war-torn country that was constantly facing bullets and artillery fire. Before they went, all the soldiers were prepared to sacrifice at any time. Some soldiers even left their wills in advance to the military unit. If they returned safely, their wills were destroyed. If they didn’t return, their wills would be handed to their families.

For high-risk special forces soldiers like Xia Jinyuan, they had to write countless wills every year. The content was different every time.

This time, he also wrote a will when he went to Libya.

Ye Jian knew that the deputy squad leader was comforting her. She smiled slightly. ”Yes, they’ll all come back safely. Their families and comrades are all waiting for them to come back.”

However, the smart Lu Hui noticed that something was wrong. She put down her military boots and asked Ye Jian carefully, ”Are there any comrades from your old unit among the troops sent out?”

The deputy squad leader, who didn’t think about this, was stunned for a moment. Seeing that Ye Jian’s expression had turned a little darker, the deputy squad leader’s heart dropped. Did Lu Hui hit the nail on the head?

After Lu Hui finished speaking, she kept staring at Ye Jian. At this moment, she naturally saw the dark expression on Ye Jian’s face and scolded herself in her heart. She squatted down and brushed her shoes. She then threw her brush and military boots away before standing up. She hugged Ye Jian. ”It’s okay, it’s okay. Those who can go for peacekeeping are all good soldiers in the company. Losing contact is nothing. They’ll definitely return to the team safely. Don’t think too much.”

Ever since she learned how powerful Ye Jian was, Lu Hui became Ye Jian’s number one follower in the female soldier class. Sometimes, the squad leader couldn’t help but scold her, but Lu Hui never got angry. She still looked proud.

Now, when she saw that she had hit the nail on the head, she panicked even more. ”Pull yourself together, Lieutenant Ye. You’re an invincible person. We have to pass the psychological test. We can’t get depressed because of uncertainties.”

Ye Jian’s heavy heart froze, and the panic in her heart eased a little. She raised her hand and hugged Lu Hui, who was comforting her, back. Smiling, she said, ”It’s okay. I can handle it.”

She continued, ”You’re a good scout. You were able to tell at a glance. You actually guessed that my old comrades were among the troops sent out.”

”It’s possible that they weren’t. Don’t think too much.” Lu Hui placed her chin on Ye Jian’s shoulder and hung on Ye Jian like a koala. ”Did you take energy drinks? Why are you so energetic? We were so tired that we couldn’t open our eyes for the entire night, but you still went to watch television.”

Last night, they gathered at 7:00 pm and entered the mountains to parachute. The terrain was dangerous, and the river was turbulent. Everyone was tense as they descended. Even Captain Lei reminded all the airborne soldiers to be careful from time to time. The distance between the two parachutes had to be wide. They saw Captain Lei sweating from nervousness. Only Lieutenant Ye was fine.

She was the only one who could watch television after coming back.

She also happened to see news of her old comrades losing contact in the war zone. Her mood was sure to drop.
