Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The 15 or 16-year-old girl was probably mixed-race. Her tanned skin was slightly yellow. She didn’t look like she was from a pure Libyan bloodline. Even her eyes were green, beautiful, and big.

Xia Jinyuan glanced at her and glanced at the dilapidated violin in her hand. She played it well, but the strings were not tuned properly and had lost their sound quality.

A group of women sat cross-legged at the corner of the wall, waiting for guests to choose them. They didn’t dare to take the initiative to welcome them. This was the rule. Whoever broke the rule would disappear the next day and would never be able to return to the nightclub that could allow them to survive.

The bar counter was simple too. It was built with cement, lined by cheap plastic colored lights. Xia Jinyuan walked to the bar counter and looked at the wine cabinet. He ordered two cans of sky-high beer. On the other hand, a few Libyan boys were dancing their ethnic dance. They were enthusiastic, unrestrained, and full of joy.

Applause and whistles sounded. Someone threw the money on the ground. A slightly older boy quickly picked it up and grabbed it tightly. When he picked up a coin, someone raised his leg and stepped on his palm, crushing it forcefully.

It hurt, but the boy who picked up the money raised his head and smiled brightly. He kept thanking the foreign man who deliberately stepped on his hand. It was just a five-dollar coin. But he only earned one dollar a night, so five dollars was very important to him.

When the foreign man saw this, he couldn’t help but laugh. His ugly face was like a worm that had crawled out of a smelly ditch.

A weak country had no dignity. If even the country didn’t have dignity, how much dignity did the citizens of this country have?

No one cared how much pain the boy was experiencing. No one cared if the boy’s self-esteem was trampled on. Such things happened often. If they kept seeing similar scenes, they would get numb.

Xia Jinyuan retracted his gaze and drank a mouthful of beer. He stood up and walked toward the man who was still laughing like a pig.

Major David, who was sitting at the edge of the bar and drinking beer, smiled when he saw this. Were the Chinese soldiers trying to save the boy so that it would be easier for them to make a move?

It was a good idea.

Picking up his glass, which was only half filled with whiskey, David walked toward the girls, who were sitting cross-legged in the corner. He thought that they could make a move now.

On the other hand, Xia Jinyuan’s shoulder bumped into the other party’s body. The beer in his hand spilled. The foreign man, who was grinding the back of the boy’s hand with his shoe, cursed and reached out to grab Xia Jinyuan’s collar.

”Damn it, look at what you’ve done!” The moment he opened his mouth, a strong smell of alcohol assaulted Xia Jinyuan’s nose. This was a fellow who had drunk whiskey and was drunk.

His fingers were callused from holding guns. He was alone and could cause trouble at will. He might be a mercenary who came to a war-torn country to get rich.

Xia Jinyuan raised his hand and grabbed the other party’s wrist. He broke his wrist violently. ”You drank. You need to sober up.” He exerted a little more force, and the other party screamed in pain.

After teaching the drunkard a lesson, Xia Jinyuan let go of his hand and took out a banknote from his pocket. He walked toward the girl who was still playing the violin.

The drunkard, who was in pain, was about to cause trouble when two men appeared from an unknown corner. One blocked the drunkard’s path, while the other grabbed the drunkard’s wrist and forced him to leave with a smile.
