Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The three Wanhai reporters muttered among themselves. After discussing it, Xia Jinyuan and Major David decided on the best retreat route.

Xia Jinyuan, who had been looking down at the map, suddenly raised his head. His sharp gaze swept toward a spot in the darkness. His black eyes were cold. Reporter Chen was so shocked that she seemed to have suffered a substantial impact and leaned back in a sorry state.

”Shuzhen, be careful!” the male colleagues beside her exclaimed when he saw that. He quickly reached out to support Reporter Chen, who fell backward.

Reporter Chen’s real name was Chen Shuzhen.

Her male colleague’s voice was a little loud, especially in the dark and quiet surroundings. The soldiers hiding in the dark glanced at them coldly. Their faces were tense.

These people were reporters, so why were they stupid?

They were retreating now, but they still dared to court death.

F*ck!

T6 cursed softly. He swallowed his saliva when he heard the other party’s sudden voice. He tightened his grip on his rifle and stared fiercely at his surroundings.

The rescued British reporters quickly made a prayer gesture with their hands in front of their chests.

They were also so frightened by the sudden sound that they broke out in a cold sweat.

This was the first time Chen Shuzhen was so frightened by someone’s gaze that she almost fell. Hence, she felt very embarrassed. She also felt that the Chinese soldier who suddenly looked at her was deliberately embarrassing her.

”What a horrible man!” She stabilized herself and reprimanded in a low and angry voice. She looked indignant, but if one listened carefully, one could hear that she was covering her weakness.

Her voice was very weak, but she forced herself to maintain the arrogance she thought she had. In response, Xia Jinyuan smiled coldly.

”Do you see that? That’s a huge problem. She gives me a headache, but I can’t leave her behind.” Major David rubbed his temples and said with a headache, ”I don’t allow her to get out of the car, and she calls it illegal detention. Gosh, doesn’t she know that it is dangerous outside and she needs protection?”

Xia Jinyuan said calmly, ”Maybe she thinks that she has the ability to leave alive. Next time, if she wants to leave, we don’t have to stop her.”

”Buddy, are you serious?”

”Of course. I’m very serious. I never joke.” Xia Jinyuan kept the city map and replied to Major David politely with a smile. ”After all, we need to respect her choices. Everyone has their own choices. We can’t restrain anyone, right?”

Major David raised his eyebrows very high. ”Yes, you’re right. I should respect the choices of those reporters.”

Major David, who had already seen how troublesome Reporter Chen was, wanted to toss her aside even more than Xia Jinyuan. Unfortunately, they all knew that Xia Jinyuan was just saying it. How could they really leave her behind?

No matter how big the trouble was, they had to continue bearing it until everyone was safely brought out.

A British soldier stood up and squatted in front of Chen Shuzhen. With a straight face, he said coldly, ”All of us are in danger now. If you’re going to continue to be stupid, please leave immediately!”

He wasn’t as patient as Major David. If there were rebels nearby, they only needed a bomb to blow everyone up.

Reporter Chen, who was frightened, was intimidated again. Realizing it had been intimidated, there was anger in her eyes. ”Your attitude toward reporters is very bad. It’s a serious violation of the professional ethics of a peacekeeping soldier. You don’t know how to respect others. You should be ashamed!”
