Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

At this moment, Chen Shuzhen’s mood was extremely bad. She was not respected and was even humiliated and threatened. This was the first time Chen Shuzhen had experienced this.

The difference in treatment was so great that she was especially angry.

”Remember, lady, the person you’re saying should be ashamed is the person who risked his life to save you!” the British soldier said in a low voice. He wanted to punch this woman who didn’t know how to be grateful at all.

However, Reporter Chen didn’t feel that these people had saved her. It would have been better if this soldier hadn’t mentioned it. Now that he did, she was even angrier. She leaned forward slightly and gritted her teeth. ”It’s your arrogance that caused all my investigation to be in vain! You should go ask the reporters from your country why we appeared at the nightclub! Bastards!”

Why did she appear at the nightclub?

The three British reporters who were locked up at the nightclub gave the best answer. It also allowed Xia Jinyuan and Major David to understand why the rebels suddenly took action with the nightclub as the center.

Amherst, the high-ranking official behind the nightclub, was there tonight too. He secretly met two ethnic leaders. When the leader of the rebellion, Ives, received the news, he didn’t do anything until today. He suddenly rebelled and tried to blow Amherst up at the nightclub, causing the government to lose another high-ranking official.

Amherst was able to become a high-ranking official of the government because he was the leader of a large race in Libya. Once Amherst was blown up, the people would definitely hate the government and make the situation in Libya even more turbulent.

Chen Shuzhen and the other two entered the nightclub because they unintentionally recognized Amherst.

At that time, Chen Shuzhen only wanted to follow them and release a press release that exposed the corruption of high-ranking officials in the government. She didn’t expect Amherst’s bodyguards to discover her and detain her.

The British reporters were simply unlucky. They didn’t know anything, but they were caught because they drank a glass of beer with Chen Shuzhen and the other two.

Amherst didn’t plan to do anything to these reporters. He was just worried that before they formed an alliance, the news would be leaked by these reporters and the anti-government militants would know in advance and take action.

They planned to lock them up for the time being and release them after the alliance was formed. It would only be for three to five days.

On the other hand, Wanhai was shocked. Chen Shuzhen was an influential reporter. At the same time, she was the daughter of a high-ranking official in Wanhai. If something happened to her, they wouldn’t be able to answer to the high-ranking official. That was why they asked for help.

Chen Shuzhen, who was saved, hadn’t cooperated from the start. She didn’t think that she was saved by the soldiers at the risk of their lives. The main reason was that the big news she wanted to secretly track had become completely worthless after she was saved.

If she knew, the reporters from other countries would know as well. If she continued reporting on it, she would just be picking up other people’s work. She wouldn’t be able to show her ability anymore.

Hence, Chen Shuzhen was very angry.

After hearing this, Xia Jinyuan, who had always been rough, cursed in his heart, ’F*ck, so that’s what happened!’ He didn’t believe that Wanhai didn’t know where Chen Shuzhen went! They just didn’t say it on purpose!

Xia Jinyuan stepped on the ground with his toes and said coldly in English, ”If you think that we’re delaying you, you have two choices. First, you can leave and return to the nightclub to report the latest battle situation. Second, follow us and get out alive.”

Chen Shuzhen still has some concerns about the British soldiers. She was concerned about the country behind the British soldiers. Although her words were offensive, she still had a sense of propriety in her heart.
