Three Towers Game

Chapter 250: Chapter 108: First Kill at the Slaughter Tower and the Chat Channel

The boundless darkness made it impossible to see where they were.

Jack, Yue Yun, and Xiaojin first thought they were stuck in the process of entering the Slaughter Tower. Until the three of them saw the familiar interface:

[Current team size: five people. Minimum number of kills required to leave the Slaughter Tower: 500.]

This meant that they had all arrived at the Slaughter Tower, but what baffled them was the total lack of any scenery.

The area they were in was pitch-black, an absolute darkness, with some kind of huge, terrifying gurgling sound in the background.

It was as if a gigantic heart was beating.

Jack couldn’t help but want to speak, but at that moment, a hand covered Jack’s mouth.

Xun Hui’s large hand was strong and powerful, distorting Jack’s face.

Luckily, Jack understood what was going on and nodded. Xun Hui then removed his hand.

Everyone held their breath.

”Screeech—”

A piercing sound emerged, making the few of them feel as if the space around them was starting to twist and ripple in circular waves.

This was the fifty-second floor. They had not yet engaged with any monsters, but fear had already gripped their hearts.

At this time, Yue Yun had analyzed the situation...

It wasn’t that everything around them was dark, but they had been transported to a dark place. This place was dark, perhaps due to the presence of an enormous creature, a giant black monster that blocked out the sky.

Xiaojin covered his own mouth, fearing that a scream of astonishment at the monster’s size might slip out.

That would undoubtedly lead to the entire team dying on the spot.

This kind of super-huge creature might only be at an elite level of evolution, possibly with many weaknesses... but its sheer size could result in its pure strength attribute reaching the leader level, or possibly the dominator level.

It’s like throwing stones is the simplest attack, but if the opponent threw a meteorite, things would be completely different.

Faced with this sky-covering super-giant creature, Xiaojin dared not act recklessly.

He just felt very excited.

This was the fifty-second floor.

So thrilling, starting off with a monster that he absolutely couldn’t handle by himself.

All five of them remained quiet. Although Xun Hui had the confidence to deal with this monster, he feared that one careless move might send the four rookies to their deaths.

He observed silently. As the number one in the Slaughter Tower, Xun Hui’s sensing ability was extremely abnormal.

From the heartbeats, he felt Yue Yun’s heartbeat was intense but gradually calmed down, indicating initial fear but slowly finding courage. Jack’s heartbeat remained fast, always fearful but with fear and courage coexisting.

As for Xiaojin, his heartbeat was getting faster and faster, reaching a peak. It wasn’t fear, it was excitement.

Wen Xishu was different; his heartbeat was the slowest of all.

He even felt that Wen Xishu’s attention didn’t seem to be on the monster.

This made Xun Hui slightly surprised. Did this kid have such strong mental fortitude?

This courage was comparable to his own.

In fact, Wen Xishu’s attention wasn’t on the monster, but rather his Scorpio knife had something amazing he hadn’t expected.

His attention was entirely not on the current environment, but focused on the world in his eyes.

Chat system. An indispensable feature in online games.

Wen Xishu did not expect the Scorpio knife to be so excellent, that this time the game feature would be this.

But clearly, this ability was lacking in some ways.

Wen Xishu was initially thinking of peeping into the World Channel to see what forces were in the Slaughter Tower.

But he was surprised to find that when he opened the World Channel, the prompt that popped up was—

[Insufficient Tower Power Value, the item’s bearing capacity is limited, please continue to upgrade the item to complete its functionality. Currently overloaded with data, only the Friend Channel is available.]

Wen Xishu’s idea of using the Scorpio cheating knife to spy on the Slaughter Tower war situation ultimately could not be realized.

But Wen Xishu wasn’t frustrated. He discovered that his friend list actually had several friends.

[Slaughter An Jincheng (Deep City)]

[Slaughter An Youxuan (Deep City)]

[Slaughter Tang Rui (Jiangcheng)]

[Slaughter Jennifer (Mo’en City)]

[Slaughter Jack (Mo’en City)]

Looking at these names, Wen Xishu’s inner thought was one thing, Scorpio this person, is really interesting. Fortunately, he didn’t choose to be enemies with Pisces and Scorpio.

Those who play with time will eventually be played by time, but those who play games will surely attract others who love games.

Wen Xishu tried to operate. In the eyes of others, Wen Xishu didn’t move. All the operations were completed in his mind.

Wen Xishu sent a message in the Friend Chat Channel:

”Are you there? Does anyone still remember me?”

He was a bit expectant, but at this moment, he immediately saw a disappointing message:

! Your message ”Are you there? Does anyone still remember me?” failed to send.

[Cannot chat in battle state, please exit battle state. Chat Channel can only be used when the bonfire is lit.]
