Three Towers Game

Chapter 241: Chapter 106: Invitation from the Strongest in the Slaughter Tower

Albert’s words made Xun Hui, who usually had a stern, unshakeable expression, suddenly look surprised:

”You’re crazy, but I’m not. If he can really replace Wen Chaohua and become the first person in the Deceit Tower, then the three of us could be partners in the future, and we can take on Tier 7 tasks together.”

”If he’s really as impressive as you say, then we should protect him well.”

”My level is not something they can reach. Old man, don’t overdo it. If they truly go to the same area as me...”

Albert raised his hand, directly interrupting Xun Hui’s speech, and said:

”If they do go to the same area as you, the companions’ wristbands will balance the levels, which means they will likely end up at the lowest level you can reach.”

”Probably... the 53rd floor? Or the 52nd floor? With your current strength, if you can’t handle a few deadweights on the 53rd floor, then don’t even think about the 60th floor. Hahahaha, you’ll never surpass me in your lifetime.”

Albert showed a particularly provocative and irreverent expression.

In any case, he had agreed with Wen Xishu, and Wen Xishu had met the condition of having Xun Hui accompany him for training.

So Albert wouldn’t care if Wen Xishu could survive on this floor of the Slaughter Tower. His thought was, since you demanded it, and you completed the challenge I set, let’s just go crazy together.

Xun Hui wanted to roll up his sleeves and have a big fight with Albert; he had done it before, but Albert hit really hard. After thinking about it, Xun Hui said:

”If you think it’s okay, then I have no problem. I’ll go find them in the afternoon.”

”Anything else?”

Xun Hui started playing cards, four twos.

Albert said:

”There’s one more issue, a small matter. You plan to kill someone recently, right? Well, I have a target for you.”

Xun Hui asked:

”Who?”

Albert said lightly:

”The head of the third bureau of Bunker Administration, she has a conflict with the heads of the second and sixth bureaus of Security Bureau regarding the matter of restoring Wen Xishu’s human rights and retrieving the corresponding merit points for the hospital and supplies.”

Wenren Mirror hesitated while playing the cards:

”Teacher, isn’t this interfering in politics? Moreover, from her position, advocating to deal with Wen Xishu doesn’t seem too wrong.”

Albert shook his head:

”I have an old friend who has been avoiding me. Back when he was around, there were many tough guys in the Bunker Security Bureau. Now he’s hiding, leaving things to his subordinates, causing chaos in the Bunker.”

The old man’s eyes suddenly sharpened, though he still wore a smile, the air around him seemed to freeze.

After a brief pause, Albert finally spoke:

”I don’t like it.”

”I have no interest in Bunker’s politics. If Wen Xishu’s performance is mediocre enough, I wouldn’t care about his life or death.”

”I care about one thing only, and that is humanity conquering the Three Towers.”

”Soon, the second and sixth bureaus of the Bunker Security Bureau will officially form a task force to conquer the Deceit Tower. Moreover, significant changes might be coming to the Three Towers Academy as well.”

”Wen Xishu could be a criminal after his first ascent, the second time too, but now it’s the fourth or maybe soon the fifth attempt in the afternoon...”

”If he remains a criminal, then it hinders me. Wen Xishu’s existence is crucial to the new task forces of the second and sixth bureaus, and the upcoming changes in the Three Towers Academy.”

”And these two projects are also crucial for humanity conquering the Three Towers. I don’t interfere in politics, but politics better not stand in my way.”

Xun Hui said:

”You want me to make an example by killing someone? And force your old friend to come out and meet you?”

Albert said:

”No, I don’t expect you to do it. If you don’t, I’ll do it myself. I just think you could give it a try, it’s merely a suggestion.”

Xun Hui said:

”Fine.”

His reply was short, but Wenren Mirror could basically declare the death of the third bureau chief of the Bunker Security Bureau.

...

...

That afternoon, in the Slaughter Tower System Area, student dormitory.

When the companions’ wristbands were really brought out, Yue Yun and Nissen were shocked. They developed a strong interest in Xiaojin’s family background.

But Xiaojin was very calm:

”That’s all there is. I’ve asked, there are no better tools for team formation. The companions’ wristbands are actually a kind of accessory.”

”They have to be worn, but they don’t occupy the item slot. However, should we reconsider whether we really want to go to the Slaughter Tower together?”

Xiaojin was very afraid that with one wrong move, he would lead the group to the outer regions of the 20th floor of the Slaughter Tower.

There, it’s very easy to encounter rare and elite types.

Wen Xishu said:

”I’m going anyway.”

”Wow, Brother Wen, you’re really brave!” Xiaojin instinctively praised.

Nissen and Yue Yun didn’t say much, mainly because... they had been praised all night and didn’t want to hear another sentence starting with ”wow.”

The two silently put on the companions’ wristbands.

”Next, do we just activate this?” Xiaojin had already taken out the login device, a red wristwatch.

Yue Yun and Nissen did the same, all prepared their login devices.

Wen Xishu was a bit helpless:

”No, not now. My login device, I have to wait a bit longer to get it. Let’s wait a while.”

Wen Xishu only had the Deceit Tower login device, not the Slaughter Tower login device.

Yue Yun frowned:

”Wenxun, you don’t have the Slaughter Tower login device?”
