Three Towers Game

Chapter 217: Chapter 99: Use Cheats Instead of Your Brain

[Due to changes in the Desire Tower’s plot, the ”Deceased Great Inventor” on the eighth floor of the Deceit Tower will be restarted.]

[All players participating in this mission (except for those who received invitations) will have their memory modules synchronously altered.]

[Memory module alteration in progress.]

[Deceit Tower initiating logic repair simulation.]

[Simulation beginning.]

[The phoenix is dead, yet Ding Dong has truly been born. Under Ding Dong’s guidance, Wu Huixin, Lei Yihong, Mo Yuan, Qian Lele, Xiangyang, and others move toward the safety that Ding Dong longs for.]

[Due to the uniqueness of Ding Dong’s team, they did not participate in the Three Towers War.]

[However, with the intervention of an unknown force, Ding Dong left behind ample treasures on the fourth floor of the inpatient department of the original Fourth Psychiatric Hospital. The museum, which should have been dismantled, still exists.]

[After the apocalypse, those people who were once helped by Ding Dong discovered that Ding Dong’s items could indeed assist them. They learned about where Ding Dong was, and countless people flocked to the museum, attempting to loot it.]

[This triggered the museum’s protective mechanisms. After many items were stolen, stricter deep protection mechanisms were activated.]

[The Fourth Psychiatric Hospital became a place overrun by eerie creatures, with only the fourth floor of the inpatient department remaining off-limits to them. Until one day, you and your companions parachute onto the fourth floor, initiating a new round of purification and exploration tasks. Those eerie creatures on the lower three floors await their chance to hunt you.]

[Your affinity with Ding Dong has increased to 80. (Can be further increased through additional tasks)]

[Due to the unique locations these characters have ventured to, they did not participate in the Three Towers War and are temporarily not recruitable (can be unlocked through additional tasks in stage two recruitment).]

The surrounding scene began to change, signaling the impending return to the Deceit Tower.

Wen Xishu couldn’t suppress a smile. The old principal, Albert, was right. The Bunker People were truly the ones who could influence the final fate trajectory.

Compared to the Bunker People, what did the Twelve Zodiac Signs count for?

Initially, Wen Xishu only speculated that it might be possible to intentionally imbue certain consciousnesses to make key characters perform specific actions.

However, this idea seemed a bit too bold,

But with these prompts, Wen Xishu finally confirmed that players could indeed influence subsequent anchoring and thereby change the content of Deceit Tower’s levels.

”With the intervention of an unknown force, the museum that should have been dismantled still exists.”

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but mutter this sentence in his mind.

The unknown force inexplicably gave him a sense of exhilaration. In the Three Towers mission prompts, the player’s intervention was described as an ”unknown force.”

When dealing with Jin Zaimin, Wen Xishu had already sensed that An Rongzai, behind Jin Zaimin, was very eager to get the help of the Bunker People to prevent being swallowed by the ”Giant Whale” Pisces in the future.

But now, Wen Xishu felt that power more directly.

”What’s worth noting is that they actually found the hidden place and because they did not participate in the Three Towers War, their prefix didn’t change from Deceit to Slaughter.”

”In other words, the monsters in the Slaughter Tower, apart from having a huge malice toward humans, must have other judgment criteria.”

”Or perhaps the Slaughter prefix has nothing to do with hatred towards humans but merely because of participation in the ’Three Towers War’ necessitating a stance?”

As he delved deeper into the Three Towers, Wen Xishu gradually grasped the advanced gameplay of the ”Three Towers Game.”

Now he was sure that the Bunker People were using mysterious powers to influence the already raging ”Three Towers War.”

Some of the monsters initially allied or inherently against humans with the ”Slaughter” prefix could now be recruited by the Bunker People.

Moreover, as Bunker People, within the Desire Tower, they could even alter the design of Deceit Tower’s levels.

...

...

Deceit Tower, eighth floor.

The white light of scene reshaping gradually faded. Wen Xishu now found a Compass in his hand.

However, Wen Xishu did not use the Compass immediately but put it away first.

Looking back, the room number had not changed; it was still 4-26. Standing at the door was Zheng Zai, who guarded Wen Xishu with great seriousness.

Wen Xishu turned and saw Zheng Zai:

”Old Zheng.”

”Younger Brother Wen, what’s up? Any further instructions?”

For Zheng Zai, Wen Xishu had just ordered him to stand guard at the door.

Wen Xishu habitually confirmed:

”I need to ask you something.”

”Shall I come in?”

”Yes, come in. There’s no need to stand outside anymore. It’s unnecessary.”

Zheng Zai was a bit puzzled, but he always believed that Younger Brother Wen’s actions had a deeper meaning.

”What is it?”

”What happened earlier? I need you to recap it for me,” Wen Xishu asked directly.

Zheng Zai asked seriously:

”From the beginning?”

”Yes, from the beginning.”

So Zheng Zai began to recount various events very cooperatively, including how the Table Lamp War God Wang Ying used a table lamp to forcibly kill a hundred initial level one normal types.
