Three Towers Game

Chapter 232: After Modification: Chapter 103 Inventory Is Not Enough

Wang Ying desperately wanted to say, ”Brother Wen, where can I find you after we return to the bunker.”

But as soon as the prompt appeared, the three of them were teleported away without any extra words.

When Wen Xishu opened his eyes again, he was greeted by a familiar scene.

In the room filled with doors and clocks, he once again saw the guide with three heads.

The attitude of the guide towards Wen Xishu had noticeably improved, all three heads had their eyes open.

”In a single Deceit Tower quest, you experienced the Desire Tower, Deceit Tower, and Slaughter Tower. This journey must have been very interesting for you.”

said the black deceitful head.

The red slaughter head and the white desire head nodded, showing a comical posture with one head upright in the middle and the other two bobbing up and down.

Wen Xishu did not want to go through another round of ”hard to say” ”can’t say” ”won’t say”, so he decided to proceed directly.

The mirror immediately appeared in front of Wen Xishu.

The latest attribute panel finally presented itself.

[Codename: Wen Xishu.]

[Slaughter Tower Level: 5. Slaughter Value Cap: 120.]

[Deceit Tower Level: 18. Anti-Magic Value: 24 points.]

[Desire Tower Level: 18. Luck Value: 24 points.]

[Three Towers Inventory: Four slots.]

[Number of Sequence Slots: 2. Current Sequences: Deceit Sequence 37· Psychic Barrage. This sequence is non-tradable.]

Wen Xishu took a look at all his Three Towers items.

There was a ”Letter from Tang Rui”, Albert’s ”Forgotten Key”. ”Gradual Indifference” from Wenren Mirror, and ”Scorpio’s Cheating Knife” he brought from Jicheng, as well as the ”Daredevil Goblet” from this trip, ”Pseudo·Fate Compass”, ”Bosom Friend Handle”, ”Phoenix Gloves”, ”Phoenix Feather”, ”Killer Soccer Ball” and ”Ding Dong’s Reply Letter”.

Looking at these items, Wen Xishu felt a kind of fear from an insufficient inventory space.

”Ten items...remove the two letters, so there are still eight usable items.”

”There are actually five orange items? Wait a minute, how can this be an orange item as well?”

Wen Xishu discovered something interesting, the Phoenix Gloves·Untie, Scorpio’s Cheating Knife, Pseudo Fate Compass, and Phoenix Feather were all orange items. The Phoenix Feather did not take up a slot, perfectly merging with Wen Xishu’s body.

But even at this point, he could not check the feather’s attributes. Another item that did not take up a slot was the blue item, the Reply Letter, used to reply to Ding Dong.

However, what surprised Wen Xishu the most was----

The Killer Soccer Ball was an orange item.

In other words, the Killer Soccer Ball was on par with the other four items, also becoming an orange item.

Currently, the item description of the Killer Soccer Ball was as follows:

[Item Name: True·Killer Soccer Ball.]

[Item Description: A recyclable killer soccer ball that unlocks various moves based on kick strength, angle, part used, and inner thoughts.]

[Item Attribute: Linked to the user’s own combat power, the stronger the user, the stronger the item.]

At first, Wen Xishu was a little puzzled.

The soccer ball’s performance in the mission was indeed strong, with the kicked trajectories being unpredictable and powerful.

But it was absolutely not as good as a chainsaw or vacuum cleaner, how did it become an orange item?

After thinking for a while, he suddenly understood.

”I see, it’s the effect of the Mad Dice’s ’Unmatched in the World’.”

135, three odd numbers, and cannot be the same odd numbers, so in essence, only the combination of 135 fits the requirement.

No wonder it’s called ”Unmatched in the World”, neither twin numbers nor similar ones.

The effect of ”Unmatched in the World” is to drastically increase the probability of obtaining unique rewards, including items, facilities, sequences, and skills.

Even without the influence of ”Unmatched in the World”, Wen Xishu could still obtain these items, although there were already unique items among them.

But with the effect of ”Unmatched in the World”, there was an additional hidden effect beyond the description, causing the ball, originally a purple item, to undergo further changes.

Wen Xishu suddenly realized...

The level of the Mad Dice might far surpass orange items.

Having an additional orange item delighted Wen Xishu; there was no such thing as too much of a good thing.

However, he now also faced some problems:

”The cheating knife must be equipped, and the gloves seem to have good effects for now, but let’s not forget, even though the Pseudo Fate Compass is not as good as the true Fate Compass in Ding Dong’s possession, it still helps avoid misfortune and guides me to treasures.”

”In other words, it’s lucky that the feather doesn’t take a slot, otherwise my four-slot inventory would be full. When climbing the tower in the future, I’d only be able to choose one item.”

Too much money, small wallet.

This left Wen Xishu quite troubled:

”Is there any way I can exchange material rewards for more inventory slots?”

The black deceitful head of the guide replied:

”If you wish, we can indeed adjust the tendencies. In other words, we can slightly alter the probability ratios of the various contents of your final rewards, but you must inform us in advance.”

”Moreover, inventory slots, sequence slots, sequences, and runes are among the hardest things to obtain. These things may seem useless to those without sequences or items, but to those who have them, they can greatly expand their playstyles.”

”If you wish to own them, your completion degree must be at least above Level 5 to qualify.”

Wen Xishu asked:

”Then why did I have four inventory slots from the beginning?”
