Three Towers Game

Chapter 224: After modification: Chapter 101 Phoenix Relic_2

[Item Description: It becomes a complete Phoenix Glove only when fused with Phoenix Glove · Weapon. However, even the Phoenix Glove · Resolve has extremely powerful abilities. This is a token of friendship, only gifted to those who are worthy of gratitude and remembrance.]

[Item Attributes: Function One - Dissolve. This glove can strip any item created by the Phoenix of its eerie power, turning it into an ordinary item. This process is irreversible. Once the dissolve function is activated, all items created by the Phoenix, except for the ”Birth of Man”, will permanently lose their eerie effects. This ability has no cooldown and requires no consumption.

Function Two - Activate Disarm Mode. You can forcibly disable an enemy’s item for fifteen minutes, even if the item was not created by the Phoenix. Cooldown time: fifteen minutes.]

Function Three - Primal Fairness Mode. Once this mode is activated, the opponent’s item slots will be disabled for five minutes. Cooldown time: twenty-four hours.]

”So, Younger Brother Wen, what do you think of this item?” Zheng Zai was eager to know the effect of this ultimate item.

Wen Xishu said:

”Now, the monsters we encounter when we leave the hospital, as long as they are wielding weapons, pose almost no threat to us. Of course, if the monster itself is particularly strong, that’s another story.”

”The abilities of this glove, once fused with the gem, are quite satisfactory and definitely worthy of being my last resort. The destructive power is a bit lacking, leaning more towards defense. But passing through the levels shouldn’t be an issue.”

”Let’s go, let’s give it a try.”

Wen Xishu was satisfied with the attributes of this glove, which included both PVP and PVE attributes. When facing enemies with powerful items, it could almost entirely nullify the opponent’s powerful items.

With this thing, in the future, when faced with an enemy pointing a gun at him, Wen Xishu could calmly say, ”I bet there are no bullets in your gun.”

The most interesting ability was the third one, Primal Fairness Mode, which could disable the opponent’s item slots, preventing them from drawing a gun. Wen Xishu always felt...

This ability was designed by Ding Dong to target the Bunker People.

He wasn’t sure if besides the Bunker People, any other units, such as the Wreckers, the Three Tower People, or the Twelve Constellations, also had item slots.

But presumably, this ability could be effective against the Bunker People.

This counted as a very powerful trump card. However, Wen Xishu still wasn’t sure what the effect of the Phoenix Feather was.

The Phoenix Feather seemed to completely disappear, as if it had fused into his body.

Wen Xishu didn’t dwell on it, soon setting off with Zheng Zai to begin the tenth level.

...

...

The Tenth Level.

Wen Xishu wore the Phoenix Glove · Resolve, holding a controller in his hand, controlling Zheng Zai, who wielded a chainsaw in one hand and a wrench in the other.

This level’s scene was set in a prison.

The huge walls made it impossible for the creatures inside the prison to leave, or perhaps they simply didn’t want to leave.

Among the monsters, a third had special abilities and were rare species; the rest were high-level tier-four common species that Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai couldn’t possibly encounter in the Slaughter Tower at their current stage.

For ordinary humans, high-level common species were equivalent to demons or ghosts, transcending natural existence.

They possessed physical abilities, speed, and strength far exceeding those of humans, as well as being vastly superior to any known animals.

It could be said that in front of a high-level common species, any human without Slaughter Tower attributes or kill sequences had no chance of winning.

Zheng Zai and Wen Xishu stood in a large, walled courtyard, which was where the prisoners usually took their breaks.

In the depths of the prison, there were several rooms with the word ”forbidden” written on them. The most terrifying prisoners were housed there, including elite-level and even a boss-level one.

Seeing this lineup made Zheng Zai break out in a cold sweat.

”This isn’t even the final level... How come there are so many high-level common species already? The number of rare species is also startling!”

Zheng Zai felt the drastic difficulty spike between the ninth and tenth levels was alarming. He wasn’t sure if they could clear out the monsters before the elite and boss levels noticed them.

He could only hope that Younger Brother Wen’s glove would have miraculous effects.

The battle began quickly.

A creature that looked almost identical to a human female, but had only a face with no features and carried a huge axe, leapt towards Zheng Zai in an instant.

Zheng Zai screamed:

”My god! Quick, use the blood energy, Younger Brother Wen, why is the first to charge at us a rare species!”

This creature, though similar to a human female, had an extremely exaggerated and provocative figure, with long legs wrapped in stockings and an upper body clad in what appeared to be a prison guard uniform from some country, immediately reminded Wen Xishu of those call girls sent to serve specific prison heroes.

However, despite the creature’s fiery figure, the huge axe it carried was not arousing at all.

That huge axe must have weighed at least a hundred pounds, but the female-bodied creature wielding it moved like a flea, leaping dozens of meters effortlessly.

Its long hair fluttered, and it let out a screech that reminded Wen Xishu of the Witch from Left 4 Dead.

The difference was that in Left 4 Dead, the Witch had no weapons, just harpy-like claws to tear enemies apart, whereas this female-bodied creature held a hefty axe.

If that were all, the controller-enhanced Zheng Zai, although struggling to fend off the rare species, could still hold his own for a while.
