Three Towers Game

Chapter 229: Chapter 102: The Museum Mission Concludes_4

Zheng Zai wanted to complain: TV shows are also real combat, people can die.

Aspasia said:

”People who have participated in more than three identifications or completed a hundred kills in a single identification can choose an item... Does that mean I can’t choose an item?”

Wang Ying said:

”It seems so, Aspasia, you should have participated in the identifications with me.”

Aspasia was a little angry:

”What kind of crappy rule is this, why wasn’t it clear from the beginning!”

Wen Xishu didn’t bother explaining to the dead, it was Zheng Zai who explained:

”If the rules were spelt out clearly, they wouldn’t be rules; they’d be a strategy guide. We also discovered the museum owner through the process of identifying items, who is encouraging us to do so.”

”Since there’s an encouragement mechanism, naturally there is also... a punishment mechanism for the cowardly.”

Zheng Zai now understood why Younger Brother Wen had hostility towards Aspasia. He indeed didn’t like such a person.

Or maybe he originally didn’t dislike her, but began to think and act in line with Wen Xishu.

Wen Xishu found that Old Zheng was indeed very talented, and he had one point right,

Aspasia’s face turned pale, because at this moment, they heard a woman’s wailing from afar.

It was a weird, unsettling wailing.

The monsters were coming.

Wen Xishu said:

”Alright, let’s choose our items.”

Wen Xishu had already started thinking about what to choose.

Unlike the others, Wen Xishu actually received an extra task prompt. As the best performer in the entire task, and someone with a predestined relationship, Wen Xishu’s prompt was like this.

[He has fulfilled his promise to you, keeping this museum which was supposed to be abandoned. You have gained a lot from this task, and he hopes you can bring news about other ”siblings” soon.

Obtained item—”Ding Dong’s Special Reply Envelope”. This item does not take up an item slot and generates at a fixed cycle. Ensure you can always communicate with ”siblings” after encountering them. If you meet one of his ”siblings” in any task, remember to write a letter using this envelope and have the guide send it out.]

[In this task, you performed the best among all identifiers, allowing you to take an extra item. Considering your excellent performance with the ”Best Friend Handle”, this item can be taken without consuming an item carry slot. Current items you can carry: 2.]

[Note, if other Tower Climbers meet the item-carrying criteria and take items from this task, they will offset a part of the regular rewards for this task.

If a Tower Climber’s activity in this task is insufficient, taking an item means they won’t get any regular rewards. Conversely, if a Tower Climber performs exceptionally well, they will still receive part of the regular reward as compensation even after offsetting.]

Wen Xishu acquired quite a lot of information,

First, including the Best Friend Handle, Wen Xishu could take three items. The others could only take one item.

Second, this task had a scoring mechanism. Task rewards were divided into museum rewards and regular task rewards.

Museum rewards were the identified items, while regular rewards were material rewards for completeness.

If performance was too poor, the person taking an item wouldn’t get regular rewards.

But the good part was, as long as they met the criteria to take an item, no matter how poor their performance was, they could still take one item.

Of course, Wen Xishu believed he would definitely get enough regular rewards.

Now, for him, the most challenging part of this task began—the choice.

He started to struggle with which two to choose.

He wanted the chainsaw and the ball, but the grappling hook seemed good too. But the Adventure Cup would surely be a tool for future clearance.

If items could be traded, Wen Xishu could make Zheng Zai make a sacrifice. This way, there would be three options.

Ultimately, Wen Xishu said:

”Old Zheng, what do you plan to choose?”

Wen Xishu decided to let Zheng Zai choose first, and Zheng Zai was flattered:

”Ah... Younger Brother, should I choose first?”

At this moment, both Zheng Zai and Wang Ying had defaulted to allowing the highest contributor to choose the spoils first.

Wen Xishu said:

”Of course, without you, just relying on me, it would’ve been impossible to clear this.”

Zheng Zai felt a warm sensation in his heart:

”Then I’ll choose this.”

Zheng Zai pointed to the chainsaw, primarily considering safety issues. Based on his current experience, he believed the handle was the strongest tool. However, since the handle didn’t count toward the item carry limit and others couldn’t use it, only Younger Brother Wen could wield it so skillfully.

So Zheng Zai chose the chainsaw. Despite its fairy tale dream-like design, it was extremely violent.

The soap bubbles could control, the chainsaw itself could output, Little Pink Horse could boost status, and the candy could sustain and recover.

Besides the odd aesthetic, it was practically the most comprehensive weapon.

Wen Xishu said:

”There are thirty items in total. We also have some yet to be identified. Aren’t you going to reconsider?”

Zheng Zai shook his head:

”This is it.”

The idea of the King of Force using a chainsaw ultimately perished. Unless it was a special team state, others couldn’t use this chainsaw anymore. Wen Xishu said:

”Your iron shell makes your entire style look aggressive, which doesn’t match the chainsaw’s style, but... as long as you like it.”

Since Zheng Zai chose the chainsaw, Wen Xishu had one less item to worry about. He finally chose the Adventure Cup and the Killer Soccer Ball.
