Three Towers Game

Chapter 216: Chapter 98: I Create a Deceit Tower Level_3

”This is the eighth layer of the Deceit Tower where I’m currently at, providing a reasonable explanation for the various mechanisms present.”

”Now, since Ding Dong’s obsession with the painting has been removed and the ’Five Stars’ Ding Dong has been created, his obsession naturally doesn’t exist anymore. Ding Dong will leave with Granny Wu and the others, and naturally, the items in the museum will disappear as well.”

”So it’s very likely that if I just let them leave like this, the newly simulated scenario of the Deceit Tower will be uncontrollable. I might return to the Deceit Tower and find myself in a completely new scene.”

Wen Xishu decided to do something:

”If you don’t leave here and stay in the hospital, how long can this hospital hold out?”

The question was a bit strange, but Ding Dong replied:

”If I’m here, it should last a long time, but I can’t say specifically.”

Unless an entity like An Rongzai from Jicheng, a ruler-class existence, appears to threaten Ding Dong?

Wen Xishu thought so, as aside from those twelve constellations, there shouldn’t be many who can defeat Ding Dong.

”My partners will pass through here in the future. Can you leave some things here? I mean, can the items in the museum stay?”

Wen Xishu began his plan.

Ding Dong frowned slightly:

”It’s not impossible for me. I can actually recreate these items, and the place I’m heading to...”

Wen Xishu interrupted Ding Dong:

”You don’t need to tell me where you’re going. I hope you find a safe refuge. But I hope you can keep some things in this hospital’s museum. And I have a suggestion.”

Ding Dong became more convinced of the complexity of Xishu’s identity and asked:

”Go ahead.”

”Jiangcheng is indeed not safe, but the fourth floor of this hospital can be turned into a temporary survival base. Some of my friends might pass by here in the future. Your items could help them get rid of some troubles.”

Wen Xishu pointed to the gloves on Mo Yuan’s hand:

”Like these things. Can you make a replica or a defective version?”

Ding Dong was a bit curious:

”I can, but wait, your friends will come?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Yes, some people like me will come to Jiangcheng to handle some matters. When the time comes, they can come here and use the items you left to solve some crises.”

”Of course, considering your items might be coveted by others, I suggest adding an identification and usage step for the museum items.”

Ding Dong found it interesting:

”Go on.”

”It’s just a suggestion. If you find it troublesome, you can ignore it. But rest assured, I will fulfill our agreement. I’ll find the Lyra, Qilin, Sirius, and Hercules constellations.”

Wen Xishu played the emotional card first. Ding Dong, recreated with the Five Stars, was naturally inclined to meet friends’ requests:

”I’ll try to do it, go on, I’m very interested.”

”Okay, I’ll continue. To protect the museum items from being easily taken, we’ll add an identification step. Without identification, the items cannot be activated.”

”After identifying, the item’s properties will be activated, but at the same time, it would be transported to a special area. For example, you can make a TV, and inside the TV are various scenes demonstrating the item’s usage. The demonstration is actually a mechanism to prevent theft.”

”I don’t know if you can achieve this, but through some power, let those who identified the items be transported to a monster-filled area. They must kill a certain number of monsters before they can leave.”

”I remember you said that the clay figures you made when you were little could move on their own... Can you create larger scenes, more ferocious clay figures, and make them look like doomsday monsters?”

”To prevent item theft, people entering the fourth floor of the hospital need to go through at least twelve rounds of identification, experiencing gradually increasing difficulty in twelve stages before they can truly take an item.”

”Of course, if they can perfectly utilize the items’ capabilities, they can earn extra acquisition qualifications.”

”Additionally, the function and type of items should be weakly related, even counter-intuitive. For example, a knife cannot kill but can save. The item must play a certain role in the usage phase to count towards the kill count.”

”If someone dies in a stage, the item can’t be taken and will shortly return to the display stand.”

”To encourage exploration and motivate thinking people, we could prepare a finale item. With this item, one can easily clear the stages, but finding it is challenging and requires solving some puzzles, such as creating a new version of you.”

Wen Xishu said a lot, rapidly, as if he had a script for a speech.

Ding Dong listened to everything. He felt like a game was being designed. The style was somewhat similar to that of one of his siblings. With the knife on Xishu’s waist, he wondered if the two had been in contact.

But he didn’t doubt Xishu or refuse:

”This is possible, but it will take a lot of effort. But since you mentioned it, and they’re your friends, I’m willing to give it a try.”

”But I’m not sure how long it will take for your friends to arrive. Maybe someone else in Jiangcheng or others in this hospital will take the items I make.”

Wen Xishu replied:

”Let’s leave it to their capabilities. You just do as I said. Whatever the outcome, leave it to fate. If some items are still taken under such mechanisms... it shows they are indeed suitable for these items.”

”It’s a good thing for you if your items are picked by suitable people, isn’t it?”

What Wen Xishu cared about was whether he could influence the Deceit Tower’s simulation. If he could, it meant he was participating in the design of the Deceit Tower’s stages.

He wasn’t really concerned about the final result, but he cared about whether he could push the Deceit Tower’s simulation results.

This was just an experiment. He didn’t completely redesign the stages but tried to restore the original design as much as possible because he believed that the Deceit Tower’s simulation had certain tendencies.

From saving Tang Rui and seeing that the Deceit Tower reduced from four stages to three, Wen Xishu thought the Deceit Tower’s simulation would try to approximate the original stage design as much as possible. The other members of Parrot’s Lament didn’t experience significant memory changes.

Based on this logic, Wen Xishu didn’t overstep. All his suggestions aimed to restore the original stage design as much as possible.

He spoke quickly, fearing he would be forced to leave before finishing.

Ding Dong said:

”You seem very familiar with all this, like you’ve experienced it before.”

Wen Xishu replied:

”I’m just quick-thinking.”

Ding Dong said:

”I can’t guarantee the final effect, but I’ll try my best. I feel... some of your ideas are similar to mine.”

Ding Dong had a strange feeling that Xishu was somewhat like his father, Professor Jin, as if convinced certain things would happen in the future.

Regarding Xishu’s detailed suggestion, the most significant feeling Ding Dong had was that it was too detailed, and the rapid speech had an urgency, as if more item design ideas would follow if time permitted.

Wen Xishu did have this thinking, but time was running out.

By now, he saw the prompt.

[Mission completed, returning to Deceit Tower soon.]

In principle, Wen Xishu should return by activating the invitation letter, but like the last time, he was being forced back.

Last time it was due to teaming, this time due to Wen Xishu’s actions.

On the eve of leaving, Ding Dong said:

”Xishu, I hope we’ll meet again in the future. I’ll do my best to accomplish what you asked.”

”If you come back here someday... to revisit, or with your friends, try using the Compass I give you. It will guide you to the richest rewards.”

Wen Xishu thought to himself not to worry, as in his timeline, he would be revisiting immediately.
