Three Towers Game

Chapter 235: Chapter 104: Mr. Jin’s Grandson

Wen Xishu arrived at the entrance of the dormitory. He didn’t enter because, at that moment, he heard a voice inside that almost made him lose his composure.

”Wow, Brother Nissen, you speak so... um, very interestingly! You pronounced every word correctly!”

At first, Nissen didn’t think there was anything wrong with this compliment.

”Right? Right? Bro, you’re truly my talent spotter! I can even dance! Jin, let me show you some of my dance moves! Yo, here’s my dance step, I’m the coolest in the world!”

Nissen started his dance of paradise.

”Oh my god, Brother Nissen, when you dance, all your limbs are in the right places! Oh, look at these moves, they’re simply like dance steps!”

This time... Nissen clearly felt something was off.

But seeing the newcomer’s face full of sincerity and joy, Nissen still said:

”Welcome! Jin, let me tell you, our dorm is full of talents, Yue Yun is also amazing.”

”Wow, Brother Nissen, you are so kind. You even introduced me to another roommate.”

”Uh... that’s actually quite normal.”

”Wow, Brother Nissen, you are so modest!”

”No, no.”

”Wow...”

The kid in the room kept starting his sentences with ”Wow, Brother Nissen, you are xxx,” but all were awkward compliments.

Wen Xishu now guessed who this kid was.

Before starting the task to enter the Deceit Tower, Wen Xishu heard from Albert that a transfer student named Xiaojin would be coming to the Slaughter Tower Academy soon. Albert had arranged for him to stay in their dormitory.

The characteristic is that he likes to praise people, is easy to get along with, but his way of praising can make people mentally exhausted.

Nissen suddenly stopped talking, looking at Xiaojin with a strange gaze.

At this moment, Wen Xishu knocked on the door.

”Wen! You’re finally back. Let me introduce you to our new roommate, Xiaojin!” Nissen enthusiastically opened the door for Wen Xishu and introduced the new roommate briefly.

”Wow, you must be Brother Wenxun that Brother Nissen mentioned, hello Brother Wen, I’m Xiaojin, Brother Wen you are so handsome, with eyes above your nose and a mouth below your nose!” Xiaojin displayed a very friendly smile.

Wen Xishu noticed that Yue Yun was wearing headphones and reading a textbook, content written by a master from the Xun Family titled ”Fighting Techniques Against Giant Creatures of the Slaughter Tower”.

The headphones were standard noise-canceling ones, clearly...

Yue Yun had already been tormented by Xiaojin’s relentless praising.

”Yes, I am Wenxun, Xiaojin, welcome here, you look pretty good too, taller than one meter, with eyes where they should be and a mouth where it should be.”

”Wow, Brother Wen, thank you for the compliment, I feel so happy!”

[Hahahahahahaha, I got praised too!]

The mental bullet screen made Wen Xishu want to touch it, but he thought it was better not to reveal himself.

However, Xiaojin’s bullet screen showed that the kid was genuinely just bad at praising people. But he did aim to integrate into the new environment through such friendly behavior.

Xiaojin indeed looked quite pretty, but with a hint of wildness. Not very tall, just over 1.5 meters, but it wasn’t because he couldn’t grow taller, it was because he was still quite young.

The rule that you must be eighteen to enter the Three Towers Academy didn’t apply to a few people. Xiaojin evidently wasn’t eighteen yet.

But Nissen and Yue Yun were both fooled, thinking Xiaojin was just ”petite.”

Wen Xishu realized Xiaojin’s age was off, but he didn’t mind, since Albert specifically arranged for him to be here.

He was more curious about how Xiaojin developed this awkward praising behavior.

Wen Xishu said:

”Xiaojin, can you tell us about your family? I feel like you’re very different from us poor kids.”

Xiaojin shook his head:

”Ah, I promised my grandfather not to speak of it.”

Wen Xishu now felt sensitive about the surname Jin. First, because Albert yelled at someone named Old Jin over the phone that day.

Then, in the Desire Tower, he learned from Ding Dong that the person who showed him great kindness as a child was called Professor Jin.

Now, Albert had arranged for a roommate named Xiaojin to stay with them.

”What’s your name?” Wen Xishu asked.

”Golden Flash.” Xiaojin replied.

Wen Xishu immediately had the urge to comment, it was a name that seemed like two characters but felt like three.

”Good name. Anyway, welcome.”

Xiaojin was also quite interested in Wen Xishu:

”Brother Wen, I heard Brother Yun and Brother Nissen say that you are the most mysterious person in our dorm, wow, awesome, tell me, have you been secretly climbing the tower?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”I’ve indeed been climbing the tower.”

”Wow, climbing the tower at such a young age, that’s amazing...”

”Stop, if you keep talking like that—”

”Wow, Brother Wen, you’re so assertive!”

Wen Xishu started feeling the pressure, realizing that Yue Yun ignoring Xiaojin and reading was the right tactic.

But fortunately, Xiaojin noticed the sharpness in Wen Xishu’s eyes, so he had to laugh it off:

”Ah, sorry, sorry, my grandpa told me since I was a kid, always find others’ strengths, don’t think you can dismiss them just because you’re his grandson...”

Xiaojin looked apologetic, then said:

”Brother Wen, Brother Yun, Brother Nissen, do you guys have any plans to climb the tower soon?”

Nissen was interested in this topic, so he immediately leaned in:
