Three Towers Game

Chapter 237: Chapter 104: Mr. Jin’s Grandson_3

Some monsters, even killing just one, may consume a huge amount of Slaughter Value. Beyond the twentieth floor, the number of such monsters noticeably increases.

In other words, in the Slaughter Tower, some novices, even if they can manage to defeat the monsters, might be hesitant due to unreasonable Slaughter Value settings...

Leading to you not daring to win, otherwise, one slip-up and you’ll exceed the limit. Then you might be forever stuck in the Slaughter Tower.

This is also why the teacher giving Miyamoto Yishu practical guidance on Slaughter Tower has three assistants.

In this way, the pressure on three experienced teachers is significantly reduced.

But Xiaojin doesn’t have the confidence to protect three dorm mates.

Therefore, at this time, both Yue Yun and Nissen, being sensible people, thought it was better not to join the hype.

There is a gap between geniuses and ordinary people, and it is important to acknowledge this gap and not to escape from reality, but also not to act recklessly.

But Wen Xishu didn’t think this way:

”It sounds quite exciting.”

Yue Yun looked at Wen Xishu, puzzled:

”Are you crazy?”

Nissen said:

”Xiaojin is too strong, Wen, let’s not join the fun.”

Wen Xishu actually didn’t want to join the fun either. But he remembered something:

The known most efficient way to get an item slot is to challenge towers never visited before, advancing to higher ranks.

His first four item slots were acquired this way.

Thinking this through, he felt he could give it a try.

”Actually, with Xiaojin around, jumping floors directly sounds good.”

Xiaojin hurriedly waved his hand:

”Don’t, don’t... I don’t have confidence in protecting you all. I was boasting... I forgot.”

Xiaojin had forgotten, he was different from others, according to the rules, one is allowed to ascend the tower only after eighteen years of age, but he was somewhat exempted.

Even though he wanted to climb the tower with his dorm mates to strengthen relationships, he couldn’t drag them into dangerous situations.

But his words somewhat hurt Yue Yun’s pride. He entered the Slaughter Tower Academy as a full-score student.

But in this dorm, he found himself being told by his dorm mate: I might not be able to carry you.

Xiaojin’s original intention was to say his own ability might not be sufficient, but Yue Yun interpreted it as them being too weak and would drag him down.

Wen Xishu, on the other hand, thought he could gamble on this.

Which time in the Deceit Tower wasn’t a life-or-death situation? It’s not impossible to achieve in the Slaughter Tower. Pity Xiaojin is only on the seventeenth floor; if he were on the twenty-first floor, they might have a chance to meet Jennifer.

Wen Xishu actually felt a bit confident. The Scorpio’s Dagger, Phoenix Gloves·Jie, and the Pseudo-Destiny Compass, these items are universally applicable to the Three Towers.

Yes, these three orange-tier items aren’t limited to just the Deceit Tower.

Scorpio’s Dagger directly increases attack power, a useful attribute for Slaughter Tower.

Combined with the Tumbling Dice for fallback, if he could utilize the Deceit Tower’s rules, he could directly kill many mid-tier regular types, Wen Xishu was eager to try:

”It’s okay, just focus on yourself at that time. If it really looks like I can’t handle it, then help me out a bit.”

Wen Xishu felt his words were reasonable, but to Xiaojin and the other two, this sounded a bit reckless.

Xiaojin wanted to say ”Wow” and praise him, but also felt it wasn’t appropriate to compliment.

Wen Xishu obviously noticed some issues:

”Stop dawdling, wasn’t it you who brought up the topic of going to the Slaughter Tower? You also promised to handle the comradeship wristbands!?”

”Come on, really? We aren’t afraid even if we’re weak, but you, the strong one, are scared?”

”I just want to experience the thrill of challenging higher ranks. Xiaojin, are you bluffing? We won’t blame you if we die, if you think we are holding you back, just don’t mind us, and kill your own targets.”

Nissen wanted to say: bro, don’t be so reckless, I am scared.

But Wen Xishu was so imposing that he felt unable to refute, he could only look at Yue Yun.

What kind of person is Yue Yun? He’s the type to push himself to compete with others.

Upon hearing Wen Xishu’s words, Yue Yun’s body instantly shook with inspiration. He felt motivated.

Yes, how can one stand shoulder to shoulder with geniuses while sticking strictly to rules? Yue Yun’s gaze became determined:

”Count me in!”

With two people unafraid of taking risks, Xiaojin also felt he shouldn’t hesitate:

”You guys... alright then, let’s go! Brother Yun, Brother Wen, I will do my best to protect you all!”

Nissen felt doomed at this point, with three out of four going, he couldn’t refuse.

But what neither Nissen, Yue Yun, nor Xiaojin anticipated was... this time their journey to the Slaughter Tower would take them far higher than they imagined.
