Three Towers Game

Chapter 227: Chapter 102: The Museum Mission Concludes_2

The second scene is the subway station, perhaps this is the first scene that is accessed by the train.

The fourth level is a cross-sea bridge, maybe that scene is related to the Ark. The fifth level is an ocean liner, which should be traveling to a seaside city.

Thinking about this order, Wen Xishu realized that the further he progressed, the younger Ding Dong was in each level.

The research institute corresponds to Ding Dong’s childhood, and the city ruins are when Ding Dong took Granny Wu and others to find a pure land.

So the twelfth level, this small town between the grassland and the blue sky, and the church and welfare home on the mountainside... Does this correspond to Ding Dong when he was still a young child?

Suddenly, a flock of sheep appeared in the sky.

Yes, a flock of sheep in the sky. They floated very low, tightly packed together like cotton, resembling a writhing cloud.

Zheng Zai and Wen Xishu were both startled, Zheng Zai thought this was so damn weird:

”Younger Brother Wen, what’s going on? Is this normal?”

Wen Xishu shook his head, ”I am not sure, but these sheep don’t seem hostile?”

The ”cloud” made up of sheep floated over their heads. They appeared very anguished, as if they wanted to graze but couldn’t because they were floating in the sky.

The flock of sheep was the first bizarre encounter Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai came across. The second bizarre point... the enormous mountain opened its eyes.

The ground began to shake, the clouds in the sky were slowly torn apart by some force, and the once mirror-like calm lake surface now rippled with layers, like the fine wrinkles on an old man’s face.

All of this stemmed from that massive mountain that occupied one-third of the people’s field of vision, which had opened.

Its eyeball was dark green, it blinked twice, then slowly closed again.

The third bizarre point appeared, the people in the small town, all wrapped in white sheets with their heads covered, started moving in groups towards the lake as if driven by corpse herders.

Plop, the first person jumped into the lake, although the water rippled slightly, the person in the water clearly did not struggle. Then the second person also jumped in.

This group of people were committing suicide.

The fourth bizarre point, the Gothic-style church on the mountainside, had two buildings that started rapidly growing taller, quickly towering into the clouds.

There was also one building that was growing taller bit by bit, at a slower pace, but it was still continuously rising.

Chants akin to Buddhist hymns were heard from the church, mingled with the cries and laughter of children.

For some reason, these bizarre places made Zheng Zai’s skin crawl, he was somewhat scared.

It wasn’t until now that the monsters started appearing. The ruler-class monster, an old man in a black robe, was accompanied by countless iron-armored statues behind him.

Even Wen Xishu couldn’t determine what rank these statues were.

Zheng Zai only felt that the atmosphere of this level was very eerie.

Wen Xishu snapped his fingers, and the old man in the black robe was directly erased.

This made him feel a bit more at ease:

”Old Zheng, don’t panic, this level is just a simulated scene, those bizarre elements, in essence, are like textures in a game, they are just information, not issues we need to solve.”

Zheng Zai nodded, if the final boss can be instantly killed right at the start... why should he still be scared?

All the fear in his heart disappeared with that snap, all fear based on insufficient firepower, and Younger Brother Wen now felt to him like the god defining that firepower.

After Younger Brother Wen instantly killed the final boss, Zheng Zai just felt that the eyes of the giant mountain were sparkling, and the flock of sheep in the sky was fluffy.

Then, controlled by Wen Xishu’s handle... Zheng Zai kicked the killer soccer ball hard.

This was a real combat item. Depending on the player’s kicking strength, force point, and kicking posture, it would release different kinds of ”bullets.”

Under the control of the handle, Zheng Zai performed a tornado shot, the soccer ball spun at super speed, like a tornado destroying a parking lot, flying towards those iron-armored statues.

After killing fifteen people, the soccer ball magically returned to the starting point.

Wen Xishu found it very interesting, so he controlled the handle, making Zheng Zai’s instep exert force, kicking a straight shot.

This time, the soccer ball charged like a running tiger, crashing through, smashing the enemies in a line like bowling pins.

”Younger Brother Wen, this thing feels fiercer than a chainsaw. It’s a long-range weapon!”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”The compass guides me to the tools most suited for dealing with certain levels, so as we progress through the levels, the tools are becoming increasingly powerful, or rather, increasingly suited to us.”

Next, under Wen Xishu’s control, Zheng Zai performed tornado shots, tiger shots, crescent banana shots that could slice enemies in half like a swordsman’s slash, and bouncing shots that could ricochet between enemies.

Many years ago, Wen Xishu had heard a famous comedian named Zhou say that combining football with kung fu would be very interesting. At the same time, others said that kung fu is a killing technique, both a means to win and a matter of life and death.

So by the logic of substitution, would combining football with killing techniques be interesting? Of course, it would be interesting.

Among all combat items, this ball became Wen Xishu’s favorite tool. With several powerful kicks, the twelfth level finally ended.

The church bells rang, and the children’s laughter and cries also all came to a halt.
